How can I change the URL for a single page in Wordpress?

I'm using wordpress as the CMS. I have developed a custom plugin to show dealers information. below is the URL. http://example.nl/dealer-info/dealer-informatie/?n=91&d=dealer-name 91 is the dealers ID which is used to fetch the data from the DB. Is it possible for me to change to URL as below. http://example.nl/dealer-info/dealer-informatie/91/dealer-name or http://example.nl/dealer-info/dealer-informatie/?n=91/dealer-name My purpose is to just to add /dealer-name to the URL. How can I change the URL for a single page in Wordpress? Given that I don't want to change the permalinks which will affect the whole site. I'm aware the fact that this can be done using .htaccess but I don't the how to do it. Help me out if possible.

Chaining Animations (iPhone / MonoTouch)

I'm trying to slide some (custom) tab-like buttons into view. I don't want them all to move at the same time. Also, they shouldn't move one at at time (where one slides after the other finishes). I want each button to begin sliding slightly after the previous. Preferably it would happen on a curve but just a fixed .1 second offset would be alright too. Monotouch or Obj-C code is fine. I'm thinking there is something in the APIs for animating groups of items like this. Hopefully, at least...

Connecting to device behind firewall

I have a wpf app that needs to communicate(exchange data) with a custom designed device (we can modify the code for the device). Do I have any options to connect to the device if it is behind a firewall via http? I was hoping there would be a method where the admin would not have to forward any specific ports or do anything on his end. I assume the issue is how would I address the device from my app. I know SOAP over SMTP is one option. Is another option where the device could chatter out to my application via http?

C# Object Array CopyTo links both arrays' values?

Okay, I have what I think is a simple question.. or just a case of me being a C# beginner. I have an array of custom objects (clsScriptItem) that I am populating from a database. Once the items are loaded, I want to back them up to "backup" array so I can revert the information back after changing the main array. However, when I use CopyTo to copy the array and then alter the original array, the backup array is also being altered... I though CopyTo merely copied values + structure from one array to another. private void backupItems() { lastSavedItems = new clsScriptItem[items.Length]; items.CopyTo(lastSavedItems, 0); //items[0].nexts[0] is 2 //lastSavedItems[0].nexts[0] is 2 items[0].nexts[0] = "-1"; //items[0].nexts[0] is -1 //lastSavedItems[0].nexts[0] is also -1 } How do I backup this data without having the two arrays be 'linked'??

Old functions return 'undefined' error once I add a jquery reference

Disregard this question: I've simply confused <script src="..."></script> tag and <script> [some functions] </scipt> tags. I have this function function OnLoad() { ShowHideConfirmAnswers(); return true; } triggered by onload event: <body onload=OnLoad()> It works fine until I add src="jquery-1.4.2.js" to the script element. From this moment I get "OnLoad is not defined" error, and the same happens to every other javascript function.

Hi, I am new to Blackberry Development.This is my first Question for you people. I am creating a search box for my project. But it looks like blackberry doesn't have an internal api for creating single line Edit field. I have created a Custom Field by extending BasciEditField overriding methods like layout, paint. In paint i am drawing a rectangle with getpreferred width and height. But the cursor is coming at default position (top-left) in Edit Field. Can any body tell me how i can draw it where my text is(i.e in middle of Edit Field by calling drwaText()). Thanks,

open window with dynamic content

Is it possible to open a window from PHP that has predefined content? It's obvious how you can open a window from a javascript link that frames an existing page, or just do a target=_blank from a regular a tag that references an existing page. But I am generating a bit of content, and want that content to be opened in a new link (or streamed to the viewer)-- something like (clearly psuedo code!): $content = "Hello World. <br />Nice to meet you!"; <a href="#" target="_blank" content=$content>Open up!</a> Is this possible? Java Authenticator on a per connection basis?

I'm building an Eclipse plugin that talks to a REST interface which uses Basic Authentication. When the authentication fails I would like to popup my plugin's settings dialog and retry. Normally I could use the static Authenticator.setDefault() to setup an authenticator for all HttpURLConnection's for this, but since I am writing a plugin I don't want to overwrite Eclipse's default Authenticator (org.eclipse.ui.internal.net.auth); I thought of setting my custom Authenticator before loading and putting Eclipse's default back afterwards, but I imagine this will cause all sorts of race issues with multithreading so I quickly lost that notion. Google searches yield all sorts of results basically telling me it's not possible: The Java URLConnection API should have a setAuthenticator(Authenticator) method for making it easier to use this class in multi-threaded context where authentication is required. Source If applications contains few third party plugins and each plugin use its own Authenticator what we should do? Each invocation of "Authenticator.setDefault()" method rewrite previously defined Authenticator... Source Are there any different approaches that might help me overcome this issue?

Hi, I have an application that handles the OnQuit event of another running application. I would like to raise an additional (custom) event when the OnQuit event is handled. How could I implement such an event? My OnQuit handler is like so: private void StkQuit() { _stkApplicationUi.OnQuit -= StkQuit; Marshal.FinalReleaseComObject(_stkApplicationUi); Application.Exit(); } The reason I require the additional event is so that I can tell my View layer that the application has exited. MKPinAnnotationView - hard to drag

I have a MKPinAnnotationView that the user can drag around the map. It is very difficult for a user to drag the pin. I've tried increasing the frame size and also using a giant custom image. But nothing seems to actually change the hit area for the drag to be larger than default. Consequently, I have to attempt to tap/drag about ten times before anything happens. Distributing cpu-bound compression jobs to multiple computers?

The other day I needed to archive a lot of data on our network and I was frustrated I had no immediate way to harness the power of multiple machines to speed-up the process. I understand that creating a distributed job management system is a leap from a command-line archiving tool. I'm now wondering what the simplest solution to this type of distributed performance scenario could be. Would a custom tool always be a requirement or are there ways to use standard utilities and somehow distribute their load transparently at a higher level? Thanks for any suggestions.

I did a lot of searching for what I thought would be a pretty common question, but I came up with nothing. If there is another thread with a similar topic, please let me know. Basically, I'm looking for a way to have an .mp3 file play in a website without relying on a flash-based player. I've searched w3 schools and every forum I can think of, but every media player I've found so far has been some sort of proprietary flash player. Doesn't HTML support some sort of native player? I've found some that rely on Windows Media Player which is close, but I want the player to work on an iPhone and something tells me WMP won't get that done... PS, as I'm thinking more about this this idea just popped into my head: a javascipt player and inside the <noscript> tag, put a flash player? I'm running a music blog (@ http://www.freshoncampus.com) so the less code per post, the better...

Imbedded wpf textbox does not accept input

I put a wpf textbox inside a combobox to allow the user to enter a custom setting. I can read the keypress in the keydown event, but the text in the textbox does not change. How to integrate a GWT app into another Web-Framework?

I need the ability to load and start a GWT App at any time in an Echo2 environment. My first approach was to load and execute the nocache.js in a Client-Server sync using var script = document.createElement("script"); script.setAttribute("src",javascriptURI); script.setAttribute("type","text/javascript"); document.getElementsByTagName('body')[0].appendChild(script); This call basically works, but when the script is executed it operates on an EMPTY document instead of the current document of the Echo2 application. Has the script to be somehow initialized first or is there any event required? The GWT application/script works fine if it's included in the start-up HTML of the application, so I assume the GWT App to be correct. The original standalone HTML of the GWT App has the HTML script tag in the body as well.

Hi, I want to grab the image src on a product page in a e commerce website. I'm writing this as a bookmarklet, so I'd like the code to work universally as possible. I've noticed that there are only two reoccurring factors in the product image tag among top e-commerce websites (amazon, bestbuy ect.): border=0 and 180<width&height<400. So how could I write a selector that would give me the srcof the first img element on the page with no border and width & height between 180 and 400 px? Or is there a better way of doing this? P.S. since I'm trying to keep the bookmarklet as light as possible, I don't want to use any libraries (jquery, yui etc)

Third party library not working with angular js

I am using navgoco.js and angular js in an application and I have following html <div id="demo"> <ul > <li ng-repeat ... > <a href="#"> ... </a> ...... </li> </ul> </div> js code $j("#demo1").navgoco({accordion: false}); It is supposed to do some expand-collapse of menus. the problem is that navgoco events are not performing on clicking on anchor. It simply adds # to url. In the rendered html of anchor tag, anuglar is adding ng-binding that may be the problem. Please help.

I have been tasked with writing a set of user guidelines for SVN for developers in my company. The guidelines are to be solely from a user perspective (e.g. commit comments, when to commit) and not from an administrative perspective (e.g. when to tag, how to structure). An administrative guideline will be written in a separate document. We are an app development house involved also in embedded development. So our developers range from HTML5 and Flash to Java and C. Some of our coding involves forking very large (millions of files) code bases. Other parts involve us engaging in ground-up development. I want to do it because I have a custom cell with a pictures on it and I want to change pictures every time when user highlights the cell. UPD: By highlight I mean that user just highlights a cell and don't release the finger from it. By select I mean when didSelectRowAtIndexPath is being launched (so the user releases the finger from the cell after he presses on it)

The attribute is 'pricing' and the tag is deposit - which I've added a text description to when adding the attribute. How can I strip non-XHTML tags from a string in C#?

I need to be able to remove non-XHTML tags from a string containing XHTML that has been stored in a database. The string also contains references for controls (e.g. ) inside the XHTML, but I need clean XHTML with all standard tag contents unchanged. These control tags are varied (they could be any ASP.NET control), so there are too many to go looking for each one and remove them. The way they are closed is also varied, so not all of them have closing tags, some are self closing. How can I go about doing this? I've found some HTML cleaners on-line for including in my project, but they either remove everything or just HTML encode the entire string. Also, I'm dealing with parts of XHTML documents, not entire documents - don't know if that makes a difference. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all, On a Salesforce.com opportunity I have a number of custom fields that are potential options that the end client will eventually select. Option 1 (Desc Field) Option 1 (Value) Option 2 (Desc Field) Option 2 (Value) Option 3 (Desc Field) Option 3 (Value) At a future point the user will ultimately choose one of the options as the preferred option. What I want is then the value for the chosen option to be stored in another field without the user having to enter it again. A “nice to have” would also be that all 3 option descriptions, values and selected value are locked once this is done. Any ideas?
