    I checked around, and couldn't find a good answer to this: We have a multi-module Maven project which we want to continuously integrate. We thought of two strategies for handling this: Have our continuous integration server (TeamCity, in this case, but I've used others before and they seem to have the same issue) point to the aggregator POM file, and just build everything Have our continuous integration server point at each individual module Is there a standard, preferred practice for this? I've checked Stack Overflow, Google, the Continuous Integration book, and did not find anything, but maybe I missed it.

    If the 'for' is used both as a command and as "the English word": for_statement: 'for' ... id: 'for' | ID ; ID: ... right? My problem is how to differentiate the two cases. For example for_statement is only possible beginning of a line (only if preceded by ' ' or '\t'). Thanks.

    I'm trying to write an auto-scaffolder template for Index views. I'd like to be able to pass in a collection of models or view-models (e.g., IQueryable<MyViewModel>) and get back an HTML table that uses the DisplayName attribute for the headings (th elements) and Html.Display(propertyName) for the cells (td elements). Each row should correspond to one item in the collection. So, I'd like to replace var items = (IQueryable<TestProj.ViewModels.TestViewModel>)Model; with var items = (IQueryable<T>)Model; or something to that effect. A property Html is automatically created for me when the view is created, but this HtmlHelper applies to the whole collection. I need to somehow create an itemHtml object that applies just to the current item in the foreach loop. I'm not sure how to do this, however, because the constructors for HtmlHelper don't take a Model object. How do I solve these two problems?

    I have the following SQL: SELECT * FROM [Database].dbo.[TagsPerItem] INNER JOIN [Database].dbo.[Tag] ON [Tag].Id = [TagsPerItem].TagId WHERE [Tag].Name IN ('home', 'car') and it returns: Id TagId ItemId ItemTable Id Name SiteId 1 1 1 Content 1 home 1 2 1 2 Content 1 home 1 3 1 3 Content 1 home 1 4 2 4 Content 2 car 1 5 2 5 Content 2 car 1 6 2 12 Content 2 car 1 instead of just two records, which these names are "home" and "car".     When I use this code with an element whose id is "foobar": $("#foobar").click(function () { alert("first"); }); $("#foobar").click(function () { alert("second"); }); I get two alerts: "first" and "second" second. How do I specify a click event that also clears out any previous click events attached to the element? I want the last $("#foobar").click(...) to erase any previously bound events.

    I get my data from SQL to Dataset with Fill. It's just one table with two columns (CategoryId (int) and CategoryName (varchar)). When I look at my dataset after fill method, CategoryId Columns seems to be correct. But in the CategoryName I have a *System.Data.StrongTypingExceptio*n. What could that mean? Any Ideas?

  • Java - Is Set.contains() broken on OpenJDK 6?

    Hey, I've come across a really strange problem. I have written a simple Deck class which represents a standard 52 card deck of playing cards. The class has a method missingCards() which returns the set of all cards which have been drawn from the deck. If I try and compare two identical sets of missing cards using .equals() I'm told they are different, and if I check to see if a set contains an element that I know is there using .contains() I am returned false. Here is my test code: public void testMissingCards() { Deck deck = new Deck(true); Set<Card> drawnCards = new HashSet<Card>(); drawnCards.add(deck.draw()); drawnCards.add(deck.draw()); drawnCards.add(deck.draw()); Set<Card> missingCards = deck.missingCards(); System.out.println(drawnCards); System.out.println(missingCards); Card c1 = null; for (Card c : drawnCards){ c1 = c; } System.out.println("C1 is "+c1); for (Card c : missingCards){ System.out.println("C is "+c); System.out.println("Does c1.equal(c) "+c1.equals(c)); System.out.println("Does c.equal(c1) "+c.equals(c1)); } System.out.println("Is c1 in missingCards "+missingCards.contains(c1)); assertEquals("Deck confirm missing cards",drawnCards,missingCards); } (Edit: Just for clarity I added the two loops after I noticed the test failing. The first loop pulls out a card from drawnCards and then this card is checked against every card in missingCards - it always matches one, so that card must be contained in missingCards.   • Memory leak appears only when multiprocessing

    I am trying to use python's multiprocessing library to hopefully gain some performance. Specifically I am using its map function. Now, for some reason when I swap it out with its single threaded counterpart I don't get any memory leaks over time. But using the multiprocessing version of map causes my memory to go through the roof. For the record I am doing something which can easily hog up loads of memory, but what would the difference be between the two to cause such a stark difference?
