  • How to let the UITable sorted by number?

    I loaded a plist from the UITable, but there is something wrong. my plist file is some data like that: 3 3uyyhuhu34 ..... 5 5uyyhuhu34 ..... 11 11uyyhuhu34 ..... I found that the list is sorted from 11, then 3, after that is 5. But I want to sorted from 3, 5 to 11. What can I do to change the behaviors? thx

    I currently have two TableViewControllers. The first has seven objects, each day-name listed. Weekdays *mandag = [[Weekdays alloc] initWithName:@"Mandag" daylist:mondayArray]; Weekdays *tirsdag = [[Weekdays alloc] initWithName:@"Tirsdag" daylist:tuesdayArray]; Weekdays *onsdag = [[Weekdays alloc] initWithName:@"Onsdag" daylist:wedensdayArray]; Weekdays *torsdag = [[Weekdays alloc] initWithName:@"Torsdag" daylist:thursdayArray]; Weekdays *fredag = [[Weekdays alloc] initWithName:@"Fredag" daylist:fridayArray]; Weekdays *lordag = [[Weekdays alloc] initWithName:@"Lørdag" daylist:saturdayArray]; Weekdays *sondag = [[Weekdays alloc] initWithName:@"Søndag" daylist:sundayArray]; daylist being a NSMutableArray.   • recursive enumeration of integer subsets?

    I have an NSArray of NSNumbers with integer values such as [1,10,3]. I want to get the sum of all the possible subsets of these numbers. For example for 1,10 and 3 i would get: 1, 10, 3, 1+10=11, 1+3=4, 10+3=13, 1+10+3=14 there are 2^n possible combinations. I understand the math of it but im having difficulties putting this into code. so how can i put this into a method that would take the initial array of numbers and return an array with all the sums of the subsets? e.g -(NSArray *) getSums:(NSArray *)numbers; I understand that the results grow exponentially but im going to be using it for small sets of numbers.

    On the Apple guide, there is a step before building the AppStore version: Open the Xcode project and Duplicate the “Release” configuration in the Configurations pane of the project's Info panel. Rename this new configuration “Distribution”. Why this step is needed? Can I skip this step and use the "Release" configuration to build the final version for AppStore?

Whenever I run this, the app crashes with EXEC_BAD_ACCESS. I've been busting my head for hours, so any help would be appreciated. Any way to let delay message handling in objectB ? for example, something like using [obj performSelector:@selector(callSecond) afterDelay:0.01]; instead of [obj callSecond]; ?

    Any clues why my programmatically defined UIScrollView (using the application frame) always leaves an empty space at the top (below the navigationBar) of 20 pixels. How can I close that?     Hello Everyone! I am really frustrated and I rally hope that you will help me to solve this problem! I'm trying to build a tab bar inside a navigation controller. I used this template provided by WiredBob. My problem is that I want to add more bar items to the tab bar, but I keep getting crash! From the log: 2010-05-24 00:15:43.469 NavTab[9315:207] * Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: '-[UITableViewController loadView] loaded the "AnnView" nib but didn't get a UITableView.' Also, I tried to fix the size of the a view in IB to fit in with the tab bar, but I couldn't! It was unchangeable. Thanks in advance :-)

  • How do you pass objects between View Controllers in Objective-C?

    I've been trudging through some code for two days trying to figure out why I couldn't fetch a global NSMutableArray variable I declared in the .h and implemented in .m and set in a the viewDidLoad function. It finally dawned on me: there's no such thing as a global variable in Objective-C, at least not in the PHP sense I've come to know. I didn't ever really read the XCode error warnings, but there it was, even if not quite plain English: "Instance variable 'blah' accessed in class method." My question: What am I supposed to do now? I've got two View Controllers that need to access a central NSMutableDictionary I generate from a JSON file via URL. It's basically an extended menu for all my Table View drill downs, and I'd like to have couple other "global" (non-static) variables. Do I have to grab the JSON each time I want to generate this NSMutableDictionary or is there some way to set it once and access it from various classes via #import? Do I have to write data to a file, or is there another way people usually do this?
