  I'm developing a system that allows for changing some of the css parameters without accessing the code. To achieve that I have jQuerry objects like sliders and draggers which influence how the site looks user side, eg. $("#MainContent").css("width", "55%");. Now I need a way to append those changes to a .css file on the server. Let me clarify that this is sort of a CMS system, and only administrator of the system would have this option, not the visitors of user-end site. I realise that .css is one for all users. Ideal solution would connect to the server every time user makes a change, and replace only one line of css code. But I have no idea how to do it efficiently or if it at all possible.

Please note that the search term is treated as a single string as if the words are in a quote, so I cannot search and highlight each word individually.

• How to resolve situation with jqGrid - not save value when move to next page

  I set new value at the last row and right col on the first page of the jqGrid. After this I move to the next page and see the same new value on the first row and right col!!! I am return to the first page and see in the last row and right col the previos value(not new one). The jqGrid is initialized with datatype: "xmlstring" from javascript variable who is set with "datastr" parameter. How to resolve the situation?

  I'm trying to find a good way to collect the names of classes defined in the stylesheets included with a given document. I know about document.StyleSheetList but it doesn't seem like it'd be easy to parse. What I'm looking for is something like, for a stylesheet document such as: .my_class { background: #fff000; } .second_class { color: #000000; } I could extract an array like ["my_class", "second_class"]. This obviously assumes the favorable scenario of a fully loaded dom and stylesheets. I've been looking everywhere for a good way to do something like this and so far, have made little progress. Does anyone have any idea about how to pull this off? Thanks!

• Letting user carry on after three attempts

  In my spelling game there is a grid that is populated with words. The words are hidden and the aim of the game is to spell the word that is highlighted with the aid of a sound and a picture. To highlight a word you press the "next" button. At the moment if you spell the word correctly it says "well done" and you can advance to the next word, but if you spell it incorrectly you have to keep attempting the word until it is complete. As the game is designed for children I do not think this is the best approach, so I would like to make it so you can advance after 3 incorrect attempts. I have played around with the script so much trying to put counters on incorrect attempts and then making the button active but cannot seem to get it to work. Can someone please help me?   Alright, so I was wondering if there was an alternative, lightweight way to creating an image map. Basically, I want to take this image: And have the sections of the diagram light up when they are hovered over, kinda like this (I've mocked it up in photoshop): The other sections (which I haven't named yet) should be able to do the same. Also, I'd like to be able to use javascript later to have sliding links appear from behind those sections (I roughly know how to do that now, so I'm okay that) Does anyone have any suggestions?
