    I am new to HTML so this question might sound a bit lame. Anyways I have a saved webpage on my desktop that when i open it in google chrome i want it to show a specific URL instead of its current location. Any ideas how i might get this to work? I tried using the history.pushState but i have no idea why it is not working.   • How to debug Ubuntu/Cisco VPN issues

    I'm trying to connect an Ubuntu laptop (9.10) with some kind of Cisco VPN device; I don't know what's on the other end, and I'm not likely to find out exactly what. I know my company allows VPN from Linux clients because they provide one that I cannot get to install (it fails to compile). I've had the most luck with the network-manager-vpnc package, however I can't figure out what's failing. When I try to connect, I get this message from libnotify: The VPN connection 'XXX' failed. which is not very helpful.     A client has a Sonicwall Pro 2040 running SonicOS 3.0, and they'd like to be able to use the L2TP VPN client from their iPads to connect to internal services (Citrix, etc). I've enabled the L2TP VPN server on the Sonicwall, made sure to set AES-128 for phase 2, and set up the configuration on a test iPad with the appropriate username, password, and pre-shared key.     We recently switched our server to require TLS for every connection. This is working flawlessly so far, but one of our clients is having problems. Some facts: Server uses Pure-FTPD Server has a passive port range configured Server has no firewall limitations regarding the FTP Client uses WS FTP Client is behind a router Client connects to the same IP as every other, using PASSIVE mode All other clients have no trouble connecting Because of the TLS requirement, connecting using ACTIVE mode is almost not possible, but PASSIVE is working fine for everyone except this specific client.   • Myvidoop error when trying to log in

    Recently I have not been able to get into my myvidoop username. It won't even bring up the pictures and asks to send the access code to one of my email addresses. I have seen this message before and there was no error previously but now it will not send the access code. I've tried accessing the site through firefox and through IE but I get the same thing (whether I went through the add on to get to the site or just typed in the website). I just want to know if I possibly have something that could be blocking it from sending this out. I use the free version of Avira for protection, run Ad Muncher (but I've also tried to get this access code with Ad Muncher closed), and have Ad Block Pro plugin (but like I've said before, the same thing happens in IE). I know it uses Java to send this access code out and I've even updated Java but still cannot get it to send it to me.

  • Disk IO causing high load on Xen/CentOS guest

    I'm having serious issues with a xen based server, this is on the guest partition. It's a paravirtualized CentOS 5.5. The following numbers are taken from top while copying a large file over the network. If i copy the file another time the speed decreases in relation to load average. So the second time it's half the speed of the first time. It needs some time to cool off after this.     I have setup Postfix and Dovecot on an Ubuntu box following the instructions http://www.exratione.com/2012/05/a-mailserver-on-ubuntu-1204-postfix-dovecot-mysql/ I can see that email is being delivered to and accepted by the server, but the email is not available for retrieval via POP3. What could be missing in my configuraton? It seems that email is not being properly handed off to Dovecot.
