I have a vb.net web application that talks to a web service. I get the following error if I try to connect to the web service. System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. The strange thing is it is working fine on one of the set of servers and on another set of servers, we get this error. The only notable difference between the servers is in the authentication setting in IIS. The server where the it works fine we have the ASP.Net Impersonation disabled, but on the other server I get an error the moment I disable the ASP.Net Impersonation.

Jboss Seam: Enabling Debug page

Hi all, I want to enable the debug page. So, I have done the following: I have the jboss-seam and jboss-seam-debug jars as dependency in both my ejb and web maven projects (both are modules of my superproject) I put this context parameter in my web.xml: <context-param> <param-name>org.jboss.seam.core.init.debug</param-name> <param-value>true</param-value> </context-param> Now, when I hit the URL of my application, I get the debug page with this exception (full stacktrace at the end of the post): Caused by java.lang.IllegalStateException with message: "No phase id bound to current thread (make sure you do not have two SeamPhaseListener instances installed)" From posts I read it seems that this is somehow related to two jars of jboss-seam or jboss-seam-debug being in the classpath. I opened my ear file and only one of each is present (in the ear) whereas the war itself has no libraries in the WEB-INF/lib. I have also read of another way to initialize debug page using the components.xml. Why are pieces of my HTML showing up on the page and breaking it? Is it PHP related?

I've been building a site in PHP, HTML, CSS, and using a healthy dose of jQuery javascript. The site looks absolutely fine on my Mac browsers, but for some reason, when my client uses PC Safari, she's seeing strange bits of my HTML show up on the page. Here are some (small) screenshot examples: Figure 1: This one is just a closing </li> tag that should've been on the Media li element. Not much harm done, but strange. Figure 2: Here this was part of <div class='submenu'> and since the div tag didn't render properly, the entire contents of that div don't get styled correctly by CSS. Figure 3: This last example shows what should have been <a class='top current' href=... but for some reason half of the HTML tag stops being rendered and just gets printed out. So the rest of that list menu is completely broken. Here's the code from the header.php file itself. JSF SSL Hazzard

I am using it with richFaces. Once it goes to HTTPS its not changing the page—I mean if I perform post action it doesn't actually happen. But if I do it from the local machine's browser it works perfectly, from a remote browser it stucks with HTTPS and not changing after that. Run unit tests in Jenkins / Hudson in automated fashion from dev to build server

We are currently running a Jenkins (Hudson) CI server to build and package our .net web projects and database projects. Everything is working great but I want to start writing unit tests and then only passing the build if the unit tests pass. We are using the built in msbuild task to build the web project. With the following arguments ... MsBuild Version .NET 4.0 MsBuild Build File ./WebProjectFolder/WebProject.csproj Command Line Arguments ./target:Rebuild /p:Configuration=Release;DeployOnBuild=True;PackageLocation=".\obj\Release\WebProject.zip";PackageAsSingleFile=True We need to run automated tests over our code that run automatically when we build on our machines (post build event possibly) but also run when Jenkins does a build for that project. If you run it like this it doesn't build the unit tests project because the web project doesn't reference the test project. The test project would reference the web project but I'm pretty sure that would be butchering our automated builds as they exist primarily to build and package our deployments. Running these tests should be a step in that automated build and package process. Options ... Create two Jenkins jobs. one to run the tests ... if the tests pass another build is triggered which builds and packages the web project. Put the post build event on the test project. Build the solution instead of the project (make sure the solution contains the required tests) and put post build events on any test projects that would run the nunit console to run the tests. Then use the command line to copy all the required files from each of the bin and content directories into a package. Just build the test project in jenkins instead of the web project in jenkins. The test project would reference the web project (depending on what you're testing) and build it. Problems ... There's two jobs and not one. Two things to debug not one. One to see if the tests passed and one to build and compile the web project. The tests could pass but the build could fail if its something that isn't used by what you're testing ... This requires us to know exactly what goes into the build. Right now msbuild does it all for us. If you have multiple teams working on a project everytime an extra folder is created you have to worry about the possibly brittle command line statements. This seems like a corruption of our main purpose here. The tests should be a step in this process not the overriding most important thing in this process. I'm also not 100% sure that a triggered build is the same as a normal build does it do all the same things as a normal build. Move all the correct files in the same way move them all into the same directories etc. Initial problem. We want to run our tests whenever our main project is built. But adding a post build event to the web project that runs against the test project doesn't work because the web project doesn't reference the test project and won't trigger a build of this project. I could go on ... but that's enough ... We've spent about a week trying to make this work nicely but haven't succeeded. Feel free to edit this if you feel you can get a better response ...

In debug mode, I can see that in class xxxController, messageSource is initialized to org.springframework.context.support.ReloadableResourceBundleMessageSource. I have annotated Message class with @Component and xxxHibernateDaoImpl with @Repository. I also included context namespace definition in servlet-context.xml. But in Message class and xxxHibernateDaoImpl class, the messageSource is still null. ASP.NET Login Page Redirection Problem

Hello everyone! I'm building a silverlight application hosted on ASP.NET Web App. / IIS7 / SSL-enabled website. For security, I put my silverlight page inside a Members folder in the ASP.NET Web Application, and restricted access from anonymous users.(see web.config below) when users try to access pages under Members folder, they get redirected to https://www.ssldemo.com/authenticationtest/login.aspx. (see web.config below) (I've mapped www.ssldemo.com to 127.0.0.1). for security, I'm switching to HTTPS in login.aspx, and back to HTTP after validation. below is the code for login.aspx.cs. protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { LoginControl.LoggedIn += new EventHandler(LoginControl_LoggedIn); } void LoginControl_LoggedIn(object sender, EventArgs e) { //for going to ReturnURL & switching back to HTTP string serverName = HttpUtility.UrlEncode(Request.ServerVariables["SERVER_NAME"]); string returnURL = Request["ReturnURL"]; Response.Redirect(ResolveClientUrl("http://" + serverName + returnURL)); } The problem is, when I deploy another application to http://www.ssldemo.com/authenticationtest/members/AnotherApplication/ and open http://www.ssldemo.com/authenticationtest/members/AnotherApplication/default.aspx, Users get redirected to https://www.ssldemo.com/authenticationtest/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fauthenticationtest%2fmembers%2fanotherapplication%2fdefault.aspx. but even when I enter the correct credentials at login page, I get redirected to the same login page again, not to the ReturnUrl. when I looked into fiddler, it said '302 object moved to here.' Trying to migrate data from C: to D: via the SBS console is failing. The wizard starts running but drops out in the first few seconds. Unable to determine the URL to the Xap file

I started developing a Silverlight (SL) 4 application hosted in an ASP.NET site using Visual Studio 2010. Now I want to change it so that the SL application runs out of browser as if I had not chosen to host it in a web site when I created the SL project. First, I went to the properties of the web application and removed the SL project from the “Silverlight Applications” tab. Then, I went to the properties of the SL project and made sure the “Out-of-browser Application” option was chosen on the “Debug” tab with the SL project selected in the drop list. Finally, I made sure that the SL project was set as the “StartUp” project for the solution. The solution builds successfully however when I try to run I get the following message in an error dialog: Unable to determine the URL to the Xap file from web [web project name]. I'm assuming this is happening because the SL project is trying to copy the Xap file to the ClientBin folder of the web site. Obviously, the SL and web projects are still linked in some way despite my attempt to unlink the two. I have examined each project file in notepad to find any reference between them with no luck. What’s more frustrating is that I can achieve my desired result by creating a new SL application and un-checking the “Host the Silverlight application in a new or existing Web site in the solution” option. I know I could start my project over from scratch to solve this problem however I’m really curious as to what is causing this error. A Google search yielded no results.

I'm running Visual Studio 2008 through the Virtual Server. I just put a button: <asp:Button ID="btnRegister" runat="server" Text="Register" CssClass="bt_register" onclick="btnRegister_Click" /> On a login user control, the onclick event is just a simple response.redirect Response.Redirect("~/register.aspx"); Debugging the project, it isn't even hitting the btnRegister_Click method anyway. I'm not sure where to even begin with debugging this error. Any information will help. I can post all the code I have, but like I said, I'm not sure where this error is even being thrown at. Edit It has nothing at all to do with the button click event. I got rid of the method and the onclick parameter on the aspx page. Still coming up with the same error problem found Okay so this is for a school project and its a group project. Some one in my group thought it would be a good idea to wrap a form tag around this area telling it to post. Found it doing a diff with a revision on Google code.
