• How do I permanently delete e-mail messages in the sendmail queue and keep them from coming back?

  I have a pretty annoying problem here. I have been testing an application and have created some test e-mails to bogus e-mail addresses (not to mention that my server isn't really set up to send e-mail anyway). Of course, sendmail is not able to send these messages and they have been getting stuck in the sendmail queue. I want to manually delete the messages that have been building up in the queue instead of waiting the 5 days that sendmail usually takes to stop retrying. I am using Ubuntu 10.04 and /var/spool/mqueue/ is the directory in which every how-to I have read says the e-mails that are queued up are kept. When I delete the files in this directory, sendmail stops trying to process the e-mails until what appears to be a cron script runs and re-populates this directory with the messages I don't want sent.   I'm trying to run the netdiag command to troubleshoot the internet connection but when I run it in cmd I get the following message: 'netdiag' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Also, I have tried typing "net diag", which gives me a syntax error, but that NET command seems to be something completely different. Searching on google for answers gives me results that deal with Windows Server 2003; I'm on a Windows XP machine.

  This used to work perfectly up until about a month or two ago. When doing a screen capture onto the clipboard (cmd + ctr + shift + 4) and pasting it into a new document in Photoshop (only in photoshop, pasting it elsewhere like mail works fine), the drop shadow around the application doesn't look right.   In windows command prompt, say we are running a command (batch file) runtest but we typo as runtet Then when we press F8 next time at 'run',it will still pop with 'runtet'. Is there any way to remove this incorrect command from auto completion list without restarting the cmd prompt? Or a better way to achieve this? Without restarting because, there are other commands which are relevant for auto completion and also the environment (though it can be set by batch file).

I have tried various combinations of hotkey modifiers but none of them seem to work with the Cygwin shell. This is problematic because most of the tabs in my ConEmu have Cygwin shells. But I want it to print an argument (full path) with another extension, e.g. .exe. For the upper example, I want it to print C:\Path\To\File\Filename.exe. How to make it do that?

"jpg" opens with "Preview", but some times I need to open with an alternate application, e.g. photo editing software. I don't want to change the "default" handling from "Preview" but may be with "Cmd-Enter" or "Ctrl-Enter" I want to open with another application instead of "Open With"-Select Application... • Multiple keyboard shortcuts for the same command in OS X?

  I am used to doing Ctrl-Shift-Tab to cycle through tabs. I do slowly pick up the niceness about using Cmd-Shift-[ or ] to do the same on the Mac. I have currently set TextMate to take Ctrl-Shift-Tab to do the tab cycling, but I'd want the Ctrl-Shift-[ or ] in addition to that to perform tab cycling. Is this possible? The reason I ask is because I see that Chrome can do it both ways (not through any configuration of my own of course).

  I just want to move dirs. I looked successively at mv, cp and rsync, since each tool in turn didn't seem to have the option to remove directories from source after copying them. For instance, mv needs files, not dirs, when src and dst are on different devices: "inter-device move failed: src to dst; unable to remove target: Is a directory" Perhaps the simplest way to do this is by using an additional deletion cmd, although I'd prefer not to use it, since that increases risk of data loss.
