  • Compare images after canny edge detection in OpenCV (C++)

    - by typoknig
    Hi all, I am working on an OpenCV project and I need to compare some images after canny has been applied to both of them. Before the canny was applied I had the gray scale images populating a histogram and then I compared the histograms, but when canny is added to the images the histogram does not populate. I have read that a canny image can populate a histogram, but have not found a way to make it happen. I do not necessairly need to keep using the histograms, I just want to know the best way to compare two canny images. SSCCE below for you to chew on. I have poached and patched about 75% of this code from books and various sites on the internet, so props to those guys... // SLC (Histogram).cpp : Defines the entry point for the console application. #include "stdafx.h" #include <cxcore.h> #include <cv.h> #include <cvaux.h> #include <highgui.h> #include <stdio.h> #include <sstream> #include <iostream> using namespace std; • Saving images only available when logged in

    - by James
    Hi, I've been having some trouble getting images to download when logged into a website that requires you to be logged in. The images can only be viewed when you are logged in to the site, but you cannot seem to view them directly in the browser if you copy its location into a tab/new window (it redirects to an error page - so I guess the containing folder has be .htaccess-ed). Anyway, the code I have below allows me to log in and grab the HTML content, which works well - but I cannot grab the images ... this is where I need help! <? // curl.php class Curl { public $cookieJar = ""; public function __construct($cookieJarFile = 'cookies.txt') { $this->cookieJar = $cookieJarFile; } function setup() { $header = array(); $header[0] = "Accept: text/xml,application/xml,application/xhtml+xml,"; $header[0] .= "text/html;q=0.9,text/plain;q=0.8,image/gif;q=0.8,image/x-bitmap;q=0.8,image/jpeg;q=0.8,image/png,*/*;q=0.5"; $header[] = "Cache-Control: max-age=0"; $header[] = "Connection: keep-alive"; $header[] = "Keep-Alive: 300"; $header[] = "Accept-Charset: ISO-8859-1,utf-8;q=0.7,*;q=0.7"; $header[] = "Accept-Language: en-us,en;q=0.5"; $header[] = "Pragma: "; // browsers keep this blank. curl_setopt($this->curl, CURLOPT_USERAGENT, 'Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7'); curl_setopt($this->curl, CURLOPT_HTTPHEADER, $header); curl_setopt($this->curl, CURLOPT_COOKIEJAR, $this->cookieJar); curl_setopt($this->curl, CURLOPT_COOKIEFILE, $this->cookieJar); curl_setopt($this->curl, CURLOPT_AUTOREFERER, true); curl_setopt($this->curl, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION, true); curl_setopt($this->curl, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, true); } function get($url) { $this->curl = curl_init($url); $this->setup(); return $this->request(); } function getAll($reg, $str) { preg_match_all($reg, $str, $matches); return $matches[1]; } function postForm($url, $fields, $referer = '') { $this->curl = curl_init($url); $this->setup(); curl_setopt($this->curl, CURLOPT_URL, $url); curl_setopt($this->curl, CURLOPT_POST, 1); curl_setopt($this->curl, CURLOPT_REFERER, $referer); curl_setopt($this->curl, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, $fields); return $this->request(); } function getInfo($info) { $info = ($info == 'lasturl') ? curl_getinfo($this->curl, CURLINFO_EFFECTIVE_URL) : curl_getinfo($this->curl, $info); return $info; } function request() { return curl_exec($this->curl); } } ?> And below is the page that uses it. <? // data.php include('curl.php'); $curl = new Curl(); $url = "http://domain.com/login.php"; $newURL = "http://domain.com/go_here.php"; $username = "user"; $password = "pass"; $fields = "user=$username&pass=$password"; // Calling URL $referer = "http://domain.com/refering_page.php"; $html = $curl->postForm($url, $fields, $referer); $html = $curl->get($newURL); echo $html; ?> I've tried putting the direct URL for the image into $newURL but that doesn't get the image - it simply returns an error saying since that folder is not available to view directly. I've tried varying the above in different ways, but I haven't been successful in getting an image, though I have managed to get a screen through basically saying error 405 and/or 406 (but not the image I want). Any help would be great!

  • set different images to uitableview cell

    - by Sudha
    I am making an app in which one of the view has a tableview. Tableview cell has two conditions. There are two images which are going to be set on uitableview cell according to the condition i.e. - (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath{ NSString *que =[[userqueries objectAtIndex:indexPath.row]objectForKey:@"question"]; NSString *ans =[[userqueries objectAtIndex:indexPath.row]objectForKey:@"answer"]; static NSString *CellIdentifier = @"Cell"; UITableViewCell *cell = [tableView dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier:CellIdentifier]; if (cell == nil){ cell = [[[UITableViewCell alloc] initWithStyle:UITableViewCellStyleSubtitle reuseIdentifier:CellIdentifier] autorelease]; cell.imageView.image=nil; if ((que.length!=0)&&(ans.length!=0)) { UIImageView* imag = [[UIImageView alloc]initWithFrame:CGRectMake(0, 0, 320, 75)]; imag.image = [UIImage imageNamed:@"ques.png"]; [cell.contentView addSubview:imag]; questext = [[UITextView alloc]initWithFrame:CGRectMake(10, 0, 300, 35)]; questext.backgroundColor = [UIColor clearColor]; questext.delegate = self; questext.tag = 101; questext.textAlignment = UITextAlignmentLeft; questext.editable = NO; questext.scrollEnabled = YES; [cell addSubview:questext]; anstext = [[UITextView alloc]initWithFrame:CGRectMake(10, 37, 300, 35)]; anstext.backgroundColor = [UIColor clearColor]; anstext.delegate = self; anstext.tag = 102; anstext.scrollEnabled = YES; anstext.textAlignment = UITextAlignmentLeft; anstext.editable = NO; [cell addSubview:anstext]; } else { UIImageView* imag = [[UIImageView alloc]initWithFrame:CGRectMake(0, 0, 320, 40)]; imag.image = [UIImage imageNamed:@"answ.png"]; [cell.contentView addSubview:imag]; onlyques = [[UITextView alloc]initWithFrame:CGRectMake(10, 0, 300, 35)]; onlyques.backgroundColor= [UIColor clearColor]; [onlyques setScrollEnabled:YES]; onlyques.delegate = self; onlyques.tag = 103; onlyques.textAlignment = UITextAlignmentLeft; onlyques.editable = NO; onlyques.scrollEnabled = YES; [cell addSubview:onlyques]; } } questext = (UITextView*)[cell viewWithTag:101]; questext.text = que; anstext = (UITextView*)[cell viewWithTag:102]; anstext.text = ans; onlyques = (UITextView*)[cell viewWithTag:103]; onlyques.text = que; return cell; } But image is not appearing properly. As I scroll up and down the table view ,images get changes automatically. Please look upon my code and help me in finding the error. second image is when I scroll up and down the table view and first image is in the starting. please help me. if any one knows how to load different images to uitableview cell. thanks in advance.

  • ABCpdf7 Not Rendering Images using AddImageUrl

    - by ddango
    Fairly exotic it seems to me. We recently upgraded/migrated from Windows Server 2003 to 2008, and now it seems that images cannot be rendered when using Doc.AddImageUrl(). (when the pdf is saved, the images appear at the correct dimensions, but the IE8 missing image x shows up). If I understand correctly, ABCpdf uses IE rendering internally for this sort of thing. We thought it might be a permission issue, but we've check IE ESC and that seems to be configured as they suggest. Has anyone else run into a similar problem? Perhaps a code configuration is needed? Not the entire snippet, but the ABCpdf7 stuff: using (Doc doc = new Doc()) { doc.HtmlOptions.PageCacheEnabled = false; doc.HtmlOptions.UseNoCache = true; doc.HtmlOptions.PageCacheClear(); doc.HtmlOptions.PageCachePurge(); doc.HtmlOptions.UseResync = true; doc.HtmlOptions.ImageQuality = 25; int pageID = doc.AddImageUrl(url + "&guid=" + url.GetHashCode()); while (true) { if (!doc.Chainable(pageID)) break; doc.Page = doc.AddPage(); pageID = doc.AddImageToChain(pageID); } // file saving etc. }

  • displaying images in a list box so the image resizes based on parent container

    - by MikeU
    I have an expander with a list box in it that displays image thumbnails. I want the images to be sized according to the size of the listbox and the list box to be sized based on the width of the expander. When I expand the expander I want the list box and the images to resize also. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this? <Expander Style="{DynamicResource ExpanderStyle}" Name="pictureExpander" IsExpanded="True" ExpandDirection="Left" Collapsed="pictureExpander_Collapsed" Expanded="pictureExpander_Expanded" Grid.Column="4"> <ListBox Name="photoList" ItemsSource="{Binding Source={StaticResource PhotoBin}}" IsSynchronizedWithCurrentItem="True" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" ScrollViewer.CanContentScroll="False"> <ListBox.ItemContainerStyle> <Style TargetType="{x:Type ListBoxItem}"> <Style.Resources> <SolidColorBrush x:Key="{x:Static SystemColors.HighlightBrushKey}" Color="Yellow" /> </Style.Resources> <Style.Triggers> <Trigger Property="IsSelected" Value="True"> <Setter Property="BorderBrush" Value="Black"/> <Setter Property="BorderThickness" Value="5"/> </Trigger> </Style.Triggers> </Style> </ListBox.ItemContainerStyle> <ListBox.ItemTemplate> <DataTemplate> <Image Source="{Binding FileLocation}" Margin="0,5" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" MouseLeftButtonDown="DragImage" /> </DataTemplate> </ListBox.ItemTemplate> </ListBox> </Expander>

  • Problem creating a mosaic of images using JAI

    - by IanW
    Hello I'm trying to use JAI to create a single mosaic consisting of 4 TIF images each of which is 5000 x 5000. The code I have written is as follows .. RenderedOp mosaic=null; ParameterBlock pbMosaic=new ParameterBlock(); pbMosaic.add(MosaicDescriptor.MOSAIC_TYPE_OVERLAY); RenderedOp in=null; // Get 4 tiles and add them to the Mosaic in=returnRenderedOp(path,"northwest.tif"); pbMosaic.addSource(in); in=returnRenderedOp(path,"northeast.tif"); pbMosaic.addSource(in); in=returnRenderedOp(path,"southwest.tif"); pbMosaic.addSource(in); in=returnRenderedOp(path,"southeast.tif"); pbMosaic.addSource(in); // Setup the ImageLayout ImageLayout imageLayout=new ImageLayout(0,0,10000,10000); imageLayout.setTileWidth(5000); imageLayout.setTileHeight(5000); imageLayout.setColorModel(in.getColorModel()); imageLayout.setSampleModel(in.getSampleModel()); mosaic=JAI.create("mosaic",pbMosaic,new RenderingHints(JAI.KEY_IMAGE_LAYOUT,imageLayout)); The problem is that all 4 images are being positioned in the same place in the top left hand corner of the mosaic so the other three quarters of it is empty. Can anyone tell me how I can choose the position of each picture that makes up the mosaic so each appears in the correct place ? Thanks Ian

  • Jquery Flexslider - can't see navigational images (manualControl)

    - by Kim Thomas
    I've spent a lot of time looking at the post on 3/13/12 re: manual controls, but isn't getting me all the way there...probably because I don't know jquery. Sorry, newbie on board. I'm trying to get the right/left arrows to show, as well as the 1, 2, 3...at the bottom. They are there, I see the lists on Firebug, just don't know how to add them to the "hook" (?) so they appear. Here is the code I have in header: <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.1/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="jquery.flexslider.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"> $(window).load(function() { $('.flexslider').flexslider({ animation: "slide", slideshow: false, controlNav: true, manualControls: ".flex-control-nav li a", controlsContainer: ".flex-container" }); }); </script> Here is my html: <div class="flex-container"> <div class="flexslider"> <ul class="slides"> <li><img src="images/tah_home.jpg" alt="taylor art house home page" width="600" height="320"/> <p class="flex-caption">Taylor Art House Home Page</p></li> <li><img src="images/tah_blog.jpg" alt="taylor art house blog page" width="600" height="320" /> <p class="flex-caption">We created a blog that fits seemlessly into Taylor Art House's look</p></li> <li><img src="images/tah_artwork_page.jpg" alt="taylor art house art page" width="600" height="320" /> <p class="flex-caption">One of Taylor Art House's gallery pages, using a Wordpress plugin</p></li> <li><img src="images/tah_arch_portfolio.jpg" alt="jon taylor architecture portfolio page" width="600" height="320" /> <p class="flex-caption">We created links to toggle from TAH to Jon Taylor Architecture</p></li> </ul> </div><!--end flexsider--> </div><!--end flex-container--> Here is the Flexslider CSS: /* * jQuery FlexSlider v1.8 * http://www.woothemes.com/flexslider/ * * Copyright 2012 WooThemes * Free to use under the MIT license. * http://www.opensource.org/licenses/mit-license.php */ /* Browser Resets */ .flex-container a:active, .flexslider a:active, .flex-container a:focus, .flexslider a:focus {outline: none;} .slides, .flex-control-nav, .flex-direction-nav {margin: 0; padding: 0; list-style: none;} /* FlexSlider Necessary Styles *********************************/ .flexslider { width: 100%; margin: 0; padding: 0; } .flexslider .slides > li { display: none; -webkit-backface-visibility: hidden; } /* Hide the slides before the JS is loaded.   • Extracting images from a PDF

    - by sagar
    My Query I want to extract only images from a PDF document, using Objective-C in an iPhone Application. My Efforts I have gone through the info on this link, which has details regarding different operators on PDF documents. I also studied this document from Apple about PDF parsing with Quartz. I also went through the entire PDF reference document from the Adobe site. According to that document, for each image there are the following operators: q Q BI EI I have created a table to get the image: myTable = CGPDFOperatorTableCreate(); CGPDFOperatorTableSetCallback(myTable, "q", arrayCallback2); CGPDFOperatorTableSetCallback(myTable, "TJ", arrayCallback); CGPDFOperatorTableSetCallback(myTable, "Tj", stringCallback); I use this method to get the image: void arrayCallback2(CGPDFScannerRef inScanner, void *userInfo) { // THIS DOESN'T WORK // CGPDFStreamRef stream; // represents a sequence of bytes // if (CGPDFDictionaryGetStream (d, "BI", &stream)){ // CGPDFDataFormat t=CGPDFDataFormatJPEG2000; // CFDataRef data = CGPDFStreamCopyData (stream, &t); // } } This method is called for the operator "q", but I don't know how to extract an image from it. What should be the solution for extracting the images from the PDF documents? Thanks in advance for your kind help.

  • Best Practice for Uploading Many (2000+) Images to A Server

    - by bob
    Hello, I have a general question about this. When you have a gallery, sometimes people need to upload 1000's of images at once. Most likely, it would be done through a .zip file. What is the best way to go about uploading this sort of thing to a server. Many times, server have timeouts etc. that need to be accounted for. I am wondering what kinds of things should I be looking out for and what is the best way to handle a large amount of images being uploaded. I'm guessing that you would allow a user to upload a zip file (assuming the timeout does not effect you), and this zip file is uploaded to a specific directory, lets assume in this case a directory is created for each user in the system. You would then unzip the directory on the server and scan the user's folder for any directories containing .jpg or .png or .gif files (etc.) and then import them into a table accordingly. I'm guessing labeled by folder name. What kind of server side troubles could I run into? I'm aware that there may be many issues. Even general ideas would be could so I can then research further. Thanks! Also, I would be programming in Ruby on Rails but I think this question applies accross any language.

  • Images not uploading when htmlentities has 'UTF-8' set

    - by gaoshan88
    I have a form that, among other things, accepts an image for upload and sticks it in the database. Previously I had a function filtering the POSTed data that was basically: function processInput($stuff) { $formdata = $stuff; $formdata = htmlentities($formdata, ENT_QUOTES); return "'" . mysql_real_escape_string(stripslashes($formdata)) . "'"; } When, in an effort to fix some weird entities that weren't getting converted properly I changed the function to (all that has changed is I added that 'UTF-8' bit in htmlentities): function processInput($stuff) { $formdata = $stuff; $formdata = htmlentities($formdata, ENT_QUOTES, 'UTF-8'); //added UTF-8 return "'" . mysql_real_escape_string(stripslashes($formdata)) . "'"; } And now images will not upload. What would be causing this? Simply removing the 'UTF-8' bit allows images to upload properly but then some of the MS Word entities that users put into the system show up as gibberish. What is going on?

  • Java: Reading images and displaying as an ImageIcon

    - by 11helen
    I'm writing an application which reads and displays images as ImageIcons (within a JLabel), the application needs to be able to support jpegs and bitmaps. For jpegs I find that passing the filename directly to the ImageIcon constructor works fine (even for displaying two large jpegs), however if I use ImageIO.read to get the image and then pass the image to the ImageIcon constructor, I get an OutOfMemoryError( Java Heap Space ) when the second image is read (using the same images as before). For bitmaps, if I try to read by passing the filename to ImageIcon, nothing is displayed, however by reading the image with ImageIO.read and then using this image in the ImageIcon constructor works fine. I understand from reading other forum posts that the reason that the two methods don't work the same for the different formats is down to java's compatability issues with bitmaps, however is there a way around my problem so that I can use the same method for both bitmaps and jpegs without an OutOfMemoryError? (I would like to avoid having to increase the heap size if possible!) The OutOfMemoryError is triggered by this line: img = getFileContentsAsImage(file); and the method definition is: public static BufferedImage getFileContentsAsImage(File file) throws FileNotFoundException { BufferedImage img = null; try { ImageIO.setUseCache(false); img = ImageIO.read(file); img.flush(); } catch (IOException ex) { //log error } return img; } The stack trace is: Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space at java.awt.image.DataBufferByte.<init>(DataBufferByte.java:58) at java.awt.image.ComponentSampleModel.createDataBuffer(ComponentSampleModel.java:397) at java.awt.image.Raster.createWritableRaster(Raster.java:938) at javax.imageio.ImageTypeSpecifier.createBufferedImage(ImageTypeSpecifier.java:1056) at javax.imageio.ImageReader.getDestination(ImageReader.java:2879) at com.sun.imageio.plugins.jpeg.JPEGImageReader.readInternal(JPEGImageReader.java:925) at com.sun.imageio.plugins.jpeg.JPEGImageReader.read(JPEGImageReader.java:897) at javax.imageio.ImageIO.read(ImageIO.java:1422) at javax.imageio.ImageIO.read(ImageIO.java:1282) at framework.FileUtils.getFileContentsAsImage(FileUtils.java:33)

  • How to MakeTable ReadOnly including contents like images

    - by GustlyWind
    I have a table which has two text boxes and a image beside it to click and open a popup. In read-only mode based on condition I am able to make text boxes read-only but images are not becoming read-only.One solution I had is the anchor tag associated with image calls for JavaScript where I can check for a dummy click when it is in read-only mode. The problem here is the function is common and effects everywhere. So is there a way to make the entire table read-only so that no extra workaround needs to done. Edited for code <table> <tr> <td class="lightbg" colspan='4'>&nbsp; Expires:<input type="TEXT" value="" id="element1" name="expireDate" size="10" maxlength="20" class="" onChange="javascript:validateDateEntry('element1',true);;"> Period:<input type="TEXT" value="" id="element2" name="refershDate" size="10" maxlength="20" class="" onChange="javascript:validateDateEntry('element2',true);;"> &nbsp; <a href="javascript:doCalendar('element1');"> <img src="/PWM/images/images_2006/calendarbtn.gif" border="0" alt="Click to select date from calendar" align="absmiddle"> </a> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan='4'><b>*</b>Times are in the WFM Server's Time Zone.</td></tr> </table> Thanks

  • Sending series of images to display like a movie on iPhone

    - by unknownthreat
    Allow me to elaborate more. On the server, we will have a program that will take data from iPhone and process that data and produce series of images. Each time an image is generated, it will be send back to display on iPhone. I have done all of the things above using UDP, OpenGL, and such. It works. The images are transferred to iPhone and can be displayed, but it is slow. The image's resolution is around 320 x 420 and we send the image pixels by pixels. This naive implementation leads to a slow framerate. I can see around 2-3 frames per second. There are also some UDP packets dropped, and this is expected. Are there any sort of compression method available for something like this? Are there any other method that can make this better? NOTE: please don't just write "compression" as an answer, because we are aware that we will need to do it in some ways.

  • android & libgdx - disable blurry images rendering

    - by android developer
    i'm trying out libgdx as an opengl wrapper , and i have some issues with its graphical rendering : for some reason , all images (textures) on android device look a little blurred using libgdx . this also includes text (font) . however, for normal images , even though i show the entire image , i expect it to look as sharp as i see it on a computer , especially if i have such a good screen on the device (it's galaxy nexus) . i've tried to set the anti-aliasing off , by using the next code : final AndroidApplicationConfiguration androidApplicationConfiguration=new AndroidApplicationConfiguration(); androidApplicationConfiguration.numSamples=0; //tried the value of 1 too. ... i've also tried to set the scaling method to various methods , but with no luck. example: texture.setFilter(TextureFilter.Nearest,TextureFilter.Nearest); as a test , i've found a sharp image that is exactly the same as the seen resolution on the device (720x1184 for galaxy nexus , because of the buttons bar) , and i've put it to be on the background of the libgdx app . of course , i had to add extra blank space in order for the texute to be loaded , so the final size of the image (which will include content and empty space) is still a power of 2 for both width and height (1024x2048 in my case) . on the desktop app , it look ok . on the device , it looked blurred. a weird thing that i've noticed is that when i change the device's orientation (horizontal <= vertical) , for the very short time before the rotating animation starts , i see both the image and the text very well . can anyone please help me?

  • jQuery ajax not preloading images

    - by George Wiscombe
    I have a list of galleries, when you click on the title of a gallery it pulls in the contents (HTML with images). When the content is pulled in it preloads the html but not the images, any ideas? This is the JavaScript i'm using: $('#ajax-load').ajaxStart(function() { $(this).show(); }).ajaxStop(function() { $(this).hide();}); // PORTFOLIO SECTION // Hide project details on load $('.project > .details').hide(); // Slide details up / down on click $('.ajax > .header').click(function () { if ($(this).siblings(".details").is(":hidden")) { var detailUrl = $(this).find("a").attr("href"); var $details = $(this).siblings(".details"); $.ajax({ url: detailUrl, data: "", type: "GET", success: function(data) { $details.empty(); $details.html(data); $details.find("ul.project-nav").tabs($details.find(".pane"), {effect: 'fade'}); $details.slideDown("slow"); }}); } else {$(this).siblings(".details").slideUp();} return false; }); You can see this demonstrated at http://www.georgewiscombe.com Thanks in advance!

  • Error Converting PIL B&W images to Numpy Arrays

    - by Elliot
    I am getting weird errors when I try to convert a black and white PIL image to a numpy array. An example of the code I am working with is below. if image.mode != '1': image = image.convert('1') #convert to B&W data = np.array(image) #convert data to a numpy array n_lines = data.shape[0] #number of raster passes line_range = range(data.shape[1]) for l in range(n_lines): # process one horizontal line of the image line = data[l] for n in line_range: if line[n] == 1: write_line_to(xl, z+scale*n, speed) #conversion to other program code elif line[n] == 0: run_to(xl, z+scale*n) #conversion to other program code I have tried this using both array and asarray for the conversion, and gotten different errors. If I use array, then the data I get out is nothing like what I put in. It looks like several very shrunken partial images side by side, with the remainder of the image space filled in in black. If I use asarray, then the entirety of python crashes during the raster step (on a random line). If I work with a greyscale image ('L'), then neither of these errors occurs for either array or asarray. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Is there something odd about the way PIL encodes B&W images, or something special I need to pass numpy to make it convert properly?

  • jQuery Ajax load images problem

    - by jackysee
    I have a code that would call $.load() to get an HTML fragment. In the fragment there will be a list of images and a script that would do some calculation based on the list size. The fragment looks like <div> <ul> <li><img .../></li> <li><img .../></li> ... </ul> </div> <script> //... script to do calculation on the list width </script> Originally, I use css's max-width to ensure that the image would not exceed 180px. But as IE has no max-width, I use the expression hack. However, it seems when the image are first load, the script cannot get a correct width of image list. Seems like the script load earlier than the CSS expression. If it is a new page, I can certainly call $(window).load() to ensure all the images are loaded. But what can I do in an ajax html fragment request?

  • Wrong colors when merging images with PHP

    - by OfficeJet
    Hi, I want to get images ID's and creat from files a merged image according to the given ID's. This code is called by ajax and return the image file name (which is the server time to prevent browser caching). code: if (isset($_REQUEST['items'])){ $req_items = $_REQUEST['items']; } else { $req_items = 'a'; } $items = explode(',',$req_items); $bg_img = imagecreatefrompng('bg.png'); for ($i=0; $i<count($items); $i++){ $main_img = $items[$i].'-large.png'; $image = imagecreatefrompng($main_img); $image_tc = imagecreatetruecolor(300, 200); imagecopy($image_tc,$image,0,0,0,0,300,200); $black = imagecolorallocate($image_tc, 0, 0, 0); imagecolortransparent($image_tc, $black); $opacity = 100; $bg_width = 300; $bg_height = 200; $dest_x = 0;//$image_size[0] - $bg_width - $padding; $dest_y = 0;//$image_size[1] - $bg_height - $padding; imagecopymerge($bg_img, $image_tc, $dest_x, $dest_y, 0, 0, $bg_width, $bg_height, $opacity) ; } $file = $_SERVER['REQUEST_TIME'].'.jpg'; imagejpeg($bg_img, $file, 100); echo $file; imagedestroy($bg_img); imagedestroy($image); die(); The images are shown exactly as I want but with wrong colors. I lately added the part with imagecreatetruecolor and imagecolortransparent, and still got wrong results. I also saved the PNG itself on a 24 bit format and also later as 8 bit - not helping. every ideas is very welcomed ! Thanks

  • Loading a gallery of external images with JQuery

    - by pingu
    Hi guys, I'm creating a gallery of images pulled in via a twitter image hosting service, and I want to show a loading graphic before they are displayed, but the logic seems to be failing me. I'm trying to do it the following way: <ul> <li> <div class="holder loading"> </div> </li> <li> <div class="holder loading"> </div> </li> <li>...</li> <li>...</li> </ul> Where there "loading" class has an animated spinner set as it's background image. JQuery: $('.holder').each(function(){ var imgsrc = http://example.com/imgsrc; var img = new Image(); $(img).load(function () { $(this).hide(); $(this).parent('.holder').removeClass('loading'); $(this).parent().append(this); $(this).fadeIn(); }) .error(function () { }).attr('src', imgsrc); }); Which isn't working - I'm not sure that the logic is correct and how to access the "holder" from inside the img.load nested function. What would be the best way to build this gallery so that the images display only after they've been loaded?

  • Downloading Images to a specific directory using Automator / Applescript

    - by fighella
    Im trying to use a variable in Automator to save images into a specific folder. Strangely when you create a new folder and you use a variable, it allows you to set the base path... but if you try to "Download URL" it does not allow you to select the base path to add the variable onto and it breaks the transaction. Im sure applescript could do a better job, but I can't seem to figure it out. Example. There is a photo gallery called Cats and Dogs. I am able to grab the Cats and Dogs title and make it my variable... it makes a new folder on my desktop called Cats and Dogs (from the Variable)... I am then able to grab all the images in the gallery as a result from "Get Image URL's from webpage"... This works great... then I try to "Download the URLs" and I want to download them to the new "Cats and Dogs" folder I have created. But I can't seem to make that work, because I can't set the path in the Download the URLs box in automator... This ends up being really useful when I have 100 galleries I need to rip to my desktop... Of course I could move the files in the newly created folder by hand once saved... but then I would have to do this for each gallery... Any suggestions?

  • Firefox adding padding to first image in multiple images, although all images have same styling and size.

    - by Sam Gabriel
    Hey guys, I have this piece of code: while($uno=mysql_fetch_assoc($results)) { echo '<div class="wcapt"><a class="neutral" href="../images.php?id=' . $uno['id'] . '"><img class="pad" src="'. $uno['thumbs'].'" border="0" /></a><br/><center><p>'.$uno['name'].'</p></center></div>'; } And all the images I link to have exactly the same size. Here's the Mainstyles.css div.wcapt { border: 1px solid green; float: left; padding: 0; margin: 3px; font: 11px/1.4em Arial, sans-serif; color: gray; } img.pad { padding: 5px; } a.neutral { display: inline; font-weight: normal; text-transform: none; background-color: transparent; color: white; text-decoration: none; } The problem is that Firefox adds some extra padding to the first image, and only the first image. And this is really annoying. Here's a screenshot of the page:

  • Load images into separate movie clips from a XML, Flash, Actionscript 3.0

    - by James Dunay
    I have an xml image bank, pretty standard, and I have a loader, along with movie clips that I want the images loaded into, the problem that I am running into is I want the images to load into separate movie clips, so I’m using a case statement to specify where they go. However, I can only get them to load into a single movie clip, I assume they are loading ontop of each other and I don’t know how to get them to separate out. I’ll post my code. It doesn’t make any sense to me but if you have any suggestions that would be real great. I can make separate loaders and then just do 1 image per loader, but that just doesn’t sound right to me. var counterNumber:Number = 0; function callThumbs():void{ for (var i:Number = 0; i <3; i++){ thumbLoaded(); counterNumber++; } } function thumbLoaded(){ var photoLoader = new Loader(); switch (counterNumber){ case 1: photoLoader.load(new URLRequest(MovieClip(this.parent).xml.photos.imageOne.image.@url[0])); whole.boxOne.pictureLoader.addChild(photoLoader); trace("1Done"); break; case 2: photoLoader.load(new URLRequest(MovieClip(this.parent).xml.photos.imageTwo.image.@url[0])); whole.boxTwo.pictureLoader.addChild(photoLoader); trace("2Done"); break; } }

  • javascript - rollover effect on overlapping transparent images

    - by user427969
    I want to add rollover effect on overlapping transparent images. For example: The following image is divided into 5 parts and I want to add rollover effect (different image) on each of them When O tried with div or img tag, the image is rendered as a rectangle so rollover effect is not proper. When i rollover on green part between yellow, the yellow image gets highlighted because its z-index is high. Following is the code that I tried: <body> <br /> <img src="part1.png" onclick="console.log('test1');"/> <img src="part2.png" onclick="console.log('test2');" style="position:absolute; left:30px; top: 19px;"/> <img src="part3.png" onclick="console.log('test3');" style="position:absolute; left:70px; top: 15px;"/> <img src="part4.png" onclick="console.log('test4');" style="position:absolute; left:95px; top: 16px;"/> <img src="part5.png" onclick="console.log('test5');" style="position:absolute; left:123px; top: 24px;"/> </body> images = , , , , I don't want to use jQuery, if possible.
