  I have a large textfile, which has linebreaks at column 80 due to console width. Many of the lines in the textfile are not 80 characters long, and are not affected by the linebreak. In pseudocode, this is what I want: Iterate through lines in file If line matches this regex pattern: ^(.{80})\n(.+) Replace this line with a new string consisting of match.group(1) and match.group(2). Just remove the linebreak from this line. If line doesn't match the regex, skip! Maybe I don't need regex to do this?

I am adding an Ad view in of my UIViewController as follows: ProgrammaticAdViewController *temp = [[ProgrammaticAdViewController alloc] init]; temp = [[ProgrammaticAdViewController alloc] initWithNibName:nil bundle:nil]; [self.view addSubview:temp.view]; So, I will be able to see an Ad view on top of my UIViewController. Now I have two problems: I am not able to tap on certain buttons of my UIViewController on which I have added the Ad View. So, for temporary purpose I adding the Ad view as: [self.view insertSubView:temp.view atIndex:1]; I want to remove the Ad view after sometime so I am using: [temp.view removeFromSuperView]; But my Ad view is not being removed.   Hi, I'm a little confused as to how i can delete a parent node of something which i can find via an xpath search: $xml = simplexml_load_file($filename); $data = $xml->xpath('//items/info[item_id="' . $item_id . '"]'); $parent = $data[0]->xpath("parent::*"); unset($parent); So, it finds the item id, no problems there - but the unset isnt getting rid of this <items> node. All i want to do is remove the <items>...</items> for this product. Obviously, there are loads of <items> nodes in the xml file so it cant do unset($xml->data->items) as that would delete everything. Any ideas much appreciated :-)

• Unable to remove master -> child subform links in microsoft access 2003

  Hi, I am having an issue removing the master - child link fields in an access subreport data form. I have tried every avenue to remove them, using the properties window of the subreport as well as the link wizard. I have also deleted the subreport from the database and then gone as far as re-importing the existing objects into a new access instance. As soon as I re-added the subform back in and name it the same name the link fields show back up. Something is apparently corrupt, but I have run out of ideas at this point on how to clear them. Any Ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Doug

  Hello, A Facebook Sync app filled the address fields of my Mac Address Book contacts with their cities. Having tons of people who have useless addresses makes it difficult to search by people on Google Maps app (ending up scrolling through many many people- I only want to see those who have proper addresses entered). I want to clear all the home address fields in my address book using applescript.   Hi, I have a table in my database and I want for each row in my table to have an unique id and to have the rows named sequently. For example: I have 10 rows, each has an id - starting from 0, ending at 9. When I remove a row from a table, lets say - row number 5, there occurs a "hole". And afterwards I add more data, but the "hole" is still there. It is important for me to know exact number of rows and to have at every row data in order to access my table arbitrarily. There is a way in sqlite to do it? Or do I have to manually manage removing and adding of data? Thank you in advance, Ilya.

• Zend remove anchor text in url redirect

  I have a form that is using an anchor name as it's action so that when the form is submitted it is it goes straight back to the form (for example 'www.domain.com/page#contact-form). The idea is if there are any errors then it'll go straight to the form (that's near the bottom of the page) so you can see the errors and continue filling in the form. If the form is valid, I want it to redirect to another page (for example www.domain.com/another-page). The problem is that the redirect url still has the anchor text in the url (in the above example it is www.domain.com/another-page#contact-form). I am using $this->_helper->redirector->goToRouteAndExit(array(), 'another-page', true); to goto the another-page route. I have tried setting the url specifically but that doesn't fix it either. How do I redirect to another page and remove that anchor text from the url?

If I remove enctype="multipart.. it seems to be working fine...but the thing is I am doing all this in sharepoint and <formid="aspnetform" enctype="multipart/datapart"...is getting added on its own..... in my control I am giving text field and button only .....Any idea how to achieve this...?

  We are using Ext JS for an application in work, building a custom theme for it. We currently have a dark colour scheme including menus with dark backgrounds. In some of the menus some of the links are disabled at certain points, which all perfectly. However IE8 seems to add a sort of white text shadow, which I am sure is normally fine but as the text is light grey and the background is dark grey the white text shadow makes it look blurry and even makes the other enabled links more disabled as they look darker. Does anyone know of a way to remove the text shadow (I realise it is not css text-shadow as IE does not support it).

There are several rows where the values of 2 particular columns are equals. I need to remove the duplicates from the list after the list is updated with all the rows from database. What is the efficient way? FYI - I am not able to do distinct while querying the database, because the GroupName is added at a later stage to the Map after the database is loaded. And since Id column is not primary key, once you add GroupName to the Map. You will have duplicates based on Id + GroupName combination! Hope my question makes sense. I'm trying to remove both of them using apt-get. Its a new box. Recently installed Linux Mint mate 15.   I'm writing a bash script that needs to loop over the arguments passed into the script. However, the first argument shouldn't be looped over, and instead needs to be checked before the loop. If I didn't have to remove that first element I could just do: for item in "$@" ; do #process item done I could modify the loop to check if it's in its first iteration and change the behavior, but that seems way too hackish. There's got to be a simple way to extract the first argument out and then loop over the rest, but I wasn't able to find it.
