    I am getting this error while I am trying to load the data into my table view. Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'Invalid update: invalid number of rows in section 0. The number of rows contained in an existing section after the update (73) must be equal to the number of rows contained in that section before the update (71), plus or minus the number of rows inserted or deleted from that section (3 inserted, 0 deleted). What could be wrong?     I've used the directions from the release notes and have been able to navigate most pages - my unit tests are not comprehensive but most all pass. However...when I attempt to edit an existing or create a new user I'm getting the error pasted below - notice that it's references version=1... - this project started life as a v1 and was converted to mvc2 at the RTM. I'm still working with V2 projects but no longer any v1. Am i due for a GAC cleansing? Server Error in '/' Application.   • PC boot: dl register and drive number

    I read somewhere in the internet that, before jumping to 0x7c00, the BIOS loads into %dl the "drive number" of the booted device. But what is this "drive number"? Each device attached to the computer is assigned a number by the BIOS? If so, how can I know which number is a given device assigned to? Reading GRUB's source code I found when %dl has bits 0x80 and 0x70 set, it overwrites the whole register with 0x80. Why is that?   • Getting the current item number or index when using will_paginate in rails app

    I have a rails app that stores movies watched, books read, etc. The index page for each type lists paged collections of all its items, using will_paginate to bring back 50 items per page. When I output the items I want to display a number to indicate what item in the total collection it is. The numbering should be reversed as the collection is displayed with most recent first. This might not relate to will_paginate but rather some other method of calculation. I will be using the same ordering in multiple types so it will need to be reusable. As an example, say I have 51 movies. The first item of the first page should display: Fight Club - Watched: 30th Dec 2010 Whilst the last item on the page should display: The Matrix - Watched: 3rd Jan 2010 The paged collection is available as an instance variable e.g. @movies, and @movies.count will display the number of items in the paged collection. So if we're on page 1, movies.count == 50, whilst on page 2 @movies.count == 1. Using Movie.count would give 51. If the page number and page size can be accessed the number could be calculated so how can they be returned? Though I'm hopeful there is something that already exists to handle this calculation!

    We are using Git as the version control for our website development. I work from a laptop, which is connected to the internal network via a WiFi connection. I've mapped the server drives as network drives in Windows. Commands such as git status take significantly longer for me than they do for my co-workers on wired connections. When connecting to the server using SSH and running commands on the git installation there, performance is even better. Is there a way to configure GitHub for Windows to use the server-installed git (with my credentials)? Note: While our production servers has a user configuration with proper permissions, the development server has only one root user.

    So i installed rbenv according to the github directions. I am running OSX but i have tried this on a Ubuntu 12.04 VM and got the same results. The following is what i get in my terminal when i try to change ruby versions: rbenv versions * 1.9.3-p0 (set by /Users/user/.rbenv/version) 1.9.3-p125 rbenv global 1.9.3-p0 rbenv rehash ruby -v ruby 1.8.7 (2011-12-28 patchlevel 357) [universal-darwin11.0] which ruby /usr/bin/ruby Anyone have any ideas as to why rbenv isnt actually switching the ruby version like it thinks it is? Aslo there is no .rbenv file in the local directory that would be causing the ruby version to default to 1.8.7 rbenv local rbenv: no local version configured for this directory

  • I keep on getting "save operation failure" after any change on my XCode Data Model

    I started using Core Data for iPhone development. I started out by creating a very simple entity (called Evaluation) with just one string property (called evaluationTopic). I had following code for inserting a fresh string: - (void)insertNewObject { // Create a new instance of the entity managed by the fetched results controller. NSManagedObjectContext *context = [fetchedResultsController managedObjectContext]; NSEntityDescription *entity = [[fetchedResultsController fetchRequest] entity]; NSManagedObject *newManagedObject = [NSEntityDescription insertNewObjectForEntityForName:[entity name] inManagedObjectContext:context]; // If appropriate, configure the new managed object. [newManagedObject setValue:@"My Repeating String" forKey:@"evaluationTopic"]; // Save the context. NSError *error; if (![context save:&error]) { // Handle the error... } [self.tableView reloadData]; } This worked perfectly fine and by pushing the +button a new "My Repeating String" would be added to the table view and be in persistent store. I then pressed "Design - Add Model Version" in XCode. I added three entities to the existing entity and also added new properties to the existing "Evaluation" entity. Then, I created new files off the entities by pressing "File - New File - Managed Object Classes" and created a new .h and .m file for my four entities, including the "Evaluation" entity with Evaluation.h and Evaluation.m. Now I changed the model version by setting "Design - Data Model - Set Current Version". After having done all this, I changed my insertMethod: - (void)insertNewObject { // Create a new instance of the entity managed by the fetched results controller. NSManagedObjectContext *context = [fetchedResultsController managedObjectContext]; NSEntityDescription *entity = [[fetchedResultsController fetchRequest] entity]; Evaluation *evaluation = (Evaluation *) [NSEntityDescription insertNewObjectForEntityForName:[entity name] inManagedObjectContext:context]; // If appropriate, configure the new managed object. Every time I want to add a row the simulator crashes and I get the following: "NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'This NSPersistentStoreCoordinator has no persistent stores. It cannot perform a save operation.'" I had this error before I knew about creating new version after changing anything on the datamodel, but why is this still coming up? Do I need to do any mapping (even though I just added entities and properties that did not exist before?). In the Apple Dev tutorial it sounds very easy but I have been struggling with this for long time, never worked after changing model version.

If I simply use the ISO to upgrade from within my XP 64-bit installation, will I retain dual boot for both XP 32-bit and Windows 8?

    Everytime I try to run a Enter-PSSession -ComputerName name, I am logged on to version 1.0 even tought 2.0 is installed.
