  I have a bunch of different objects that are commonly edited in the same TabControl using different DataTemplates, but I want each DataTemplate to have a common look and feel with Ok and Cancel buttons at the bottom right of each tab that will close the tab or save the content and then close the currently selected tab. What's the best way to place buttons on each tab ? Is there a way to do it without copying and pasting the buttons and stack panel across all of my data templates ?

  Regarding the SMS compose view as show in the picture below: I have two questions: 1) How is the text entry box implemented? There are no standard control from the API and the box is smart enough to resize when you press enter OR when the text is too long. Also the bar resizes with it. How is this done with the least coding? 2) How to code it such that when the keyboard shows up the whole view shifts up? Typically when the keyboard shows, it goes over your current view.

I've added some features to the application and in the process I had to add a new field to one of the database tables.   I am designing a client-server chat application in Java. This is a secure application where the messages are exchanged using cryptographic algorithms. I have one server and it can support many clients. My problem is that when one client logs on the server it works fine, but when another user logs into the system, the server starts giving me bad padding exceptions for the encrypted text. I am not able to figure out the problem, according to my logic, when new connection request to server is made, the server creates a thread for listening to the client. Is it possible that once the instance of thread class is created, it does all the processing correctly for the first client, but not for the second client because the variables in server listener thread class already have some previous value, and thus the encrypted text is not decrypted properly? Please advise how I can make this process more robust so that the number of clients does not affect how well the server functions.

Also other question is that I have a label or box say and now I want to increase size of that box so that I have move the text inside that box to right, currently if I move it to right than it reaches the end limit of box and so I want to increase the size of box so that I can push text more towards right. I need some lib with simple function like "Render String Var conteining HTML" So no external files (like in flash lib called HTMLwraper you just have to play your SWF on top of HTML). dinamic! I give it string it renders It into some conteiner (not as a bitmab but as if it was real HTML dynamically rendered in flash). (And I need real HTML + CSS support not what normal rich text block gives us) I am going to use it in with Flex (Flash Builder) so I like MXML component model but even pure flash AS3 will workout. It should be Free and Opensource (any license like GPL, LGPL etc will be ok). So Is out there such flash\flex library for HTML + CSS dynamic rendering (rfom given String or XML)?

  What I need to do is rewriting this address: (1) http://localhost/wordpress/fake/text-value to (2) http://localhost/wordpress/gallery?somevar=text-value Notes: the remapping must be transparent: the user always has to see address (1) gallery is a permalink to a wordpress page, not a real address I basically need to rewrite the address first (to modify it) and then feed it back to mod rewrite again (to let wordpress parse it its own way). Problems if I simply do RewriteRule ^fake$ http://localhost/wordpress/gallery [L] it works but the address in the browser changes, which is no good, if I do RewriteRule ^fake$ /wordpress/gallery [L] I get a 404. I tried different flags instead of [L] but to no avail. How can I get this to work?

  I'm trying to use cookie based sessions, however it'll only work on the local machine, not over the network. If I remove the session related stuff, it will however work just great over the network... You'll have to forgive the lack of quality code here, I'm just starting out with node/socket etc etc, and finding any clear guides is tough going, so I'm in n00b territory right now. Basically this is so far hacked together from various snippets with about 10% understanding of what I'm actually doing... • Why can't I input the integers from a file?

  I'm trying to get this C++ code to input a series of numbers from a text file: int x = 0; cin >> x; ifstream iffer; int numbers[12]; iffer.open("input.txt"); for (int i = 0; i < 12; i++){ iffer >> numbers[i]; } This doesn't seem to work on the Mac. Every cell will equal to 0 regardless of the values in the text file. In other words, the ifstream isn't assigning the numbers. How can I make this work? • newbie: how to upload images from a form with PHP and mySQL

  I'm creating a web app (locally, so security doesn't matter) in PHP where the user uploads a set of information and a small .jpeg, which is then inserted into a mySQL table. I can do this no problem with all the text data, but I'm not sure how to cause the image to upload alongside it. I assume I will have to use the blob data type and input type="file", but I fooled around with that a little bit and the solution doesn't seem to be an intuitive extension of how input type="text" works. Do I need to do a lot more PHP scripting to get this to work? Is it possible to upload an image with a form, or is there a necessary intermediate step?

• extract payload from tcpflow output

  Tcpflow outputs a bunch of files, many of which are HTTP responses from a web server. Inside, they contain HTTP headers, including Content-type: , and other important ones. I'm trying to write a script that can extract just the payload data (i.e. image/jpeg; text/html; et al.) and save it to a file [optional: with an appropriate name and file extension]. The EOL chars are \r\n (CRLF) and so this makes it difficult to use in GNU distros (in my experiences). I've been trying something along the lines of: sed /HTTP/,/^$/d To delete all text from the the beginning of HTTP (incl) to the end of \r\n\r\n (incl) but I have found no luck. I'm looking for help from anyone with good experience in sed and/or awk. I have zero experience with Perl, please I'd prefer to use common GNU command line utilities for this Find a sample tcpflow output file here. Thanks, Felipe

• Provide "Paste Link" Functionality in C# Winforms App

  I would like to add Copy-Paste Link functionality to an application. The application replaces a complex Excel workbook. I would like to be able to copy tables, text, and charts from the application and use Paste Link in MS Word. For the uninitiated: With Excel, when you use Paste Link for the tables, text, charts, etc. the items update in Word when you change them in Excel. Does anyone know for sure if this is/is not possible (is it some proprietary feature of MS Word-Excel)? If not, can anyone point me to some resources that will help (either an app that does this or a tutorial/write-up). Thanks!
