The string can contain numbers (0..9) anywhere in the string, except on the first position. The string can contain underscores (_).   • How do I pass a javascript parameter to an asp.net MVCmodel from within a View?

    Hi everyone! I am having an issue trying to access a list property on a model from within a javascript. My basic situation is this: I have an ArticleController and an ArticleViewModel. An Article has a number of properties, one of which is Text, which is just a string that contains the contents of the article. The ArticleViewModel contains a Pages property, which is just a List of Strings. When the ArticleViewModel constructor is called, I populate the Pages list by dividing up the article text based on some delimeters. I have a View which inherits the ArticleViewModel type. What I want to do is only display one page at a time, and then when the user clicks a page number (from a list at the bottom of the article), I want to use javascript to load that page into the #dynamicContent div. The problem: I can't seem to pass a parameter to the Model.Pages property from within javascript... Is this possible? I get an error stating, "Expression Expected" when I try what I have below. I don't want to have to worry about AJAX calls or anything like that since I already have the entire article... I just need a way to access each individual page from within the javascript function. Alternatively, if there is a better solution for "paginating" an article so that I can load each articlePage without having to refresh the entire html page, I would certainly be open to that as well.     I remember when I was developing in C++ or Java, the compiler usually complains for unused methods, functions or imports. In my Django project, I have a bunch of Python files which have gone through a number of iterations. Some of those files have a few lines of import statement at the top of the page and some of those imports are not used anymore. Is there a way to locate those unused imports besides eyeballing each one of them in each file? All my imports are explicit, I don't usually write from blah import *

  • Another Memory Alignment Question?

    I understand why data need to be aligned (and all the efforts made to accomplish it like padding) so we can reduce the number of memory accesses but this assumes that processor just can fetch addresses multiples of 4(supposing we are using a 32-bit architecture). And because of that assumption we need to align memory and my question is why we can just access addresses multiple of 4(efficiency, hardware restriction, another one)? Which is the advantages of doing this? Why cannot we access all the addresses available? hugs

  • Silverlight MVVM add record from user control

    I have a User Control for searching container numbers. If the user enters a container number that's new to the system then I want to tell the VM "I have a new record to add". The MVVM method avoids using Events to communicate with the VM as they create code-behind. Should I create a Dependency Property to trigger the VM but I don't think I've seen other controls with a "NewRecord" property? Any thoughts?

After reading the info (plain text) it looks a bit ugly. If the left-hand operand is unsigned, the right shift is a logical shift so the upper bits will be filled with zeros.     My iPhone app was rejected with the following note: "The following non-public APIs are included in your application: Spi Symbols __memset_chk __memmove_chk" These symbols appear in a small number of apparently cocos2d related object files: Grid.o Primitives.o TextureAtlas.o Curiously, this app had already been approved under the previous SDK, but under 3.2 it's being rejected, though that may have nothing to do with it. I'm not at all sure how to resolve this and appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks.
