  Hello! Have you been doing some ASP.NET MVC developement involving Spring.NET and NHibernate both? I would like to see an informative example of such setup, so I could build my own project off that. I tried googling, found some pretty things like S#arp Architecture, an article about regular ASP.NET (WebForms) integrated with the frameworks and so on. Still, I'm missing a good tutorial on ASP.NET MVC & the subj. P.S.: I do know how Spring and Hibernate works, I just need to plug them into an MVC application. • Wpf multiple cameras

  Hello everybody, I wanted to create an WPF 3D application that allows the user to load a MeshGeometry3D and view it from 2 perspective (back and front) in the same time, in 2 different windows. First I thought of creating 2 cameras inside the same viewport, but it seams that the Viewport3D class allows a single camera. Then I tried to create 2 viewports, each with a different camera position, but I cannot add the same object in both viewports. Is there any way of seeing the same object through 2 different cameras in the same time?

• Is it safe to delete the "ipch" folder - Precompiled headers?

  Hello, I was looking through the folder for an application I am working on and noticed the "ipch" folder, for my solution which has two small projects it weighs in at about 90mb+ in size. I have found an article discussing the use for the files and was wondering if they were safe to delete? It's for an assignment hand in and I would like to keep the electronic hand in as small as possible. If I were to delete the folder will the application remain in a safe and stable state?   hello! I have an animation block that worked fine when runnung the app on iphone OS 2.2. Now I compile the same code for iphone OS 3.0 and it doesn't work.   Hello, I have the following problem: Given N objects of different values (N < 30, and the values are multiple of a "k" constant, i.e. k, 2k, 3k, 4k, 6k, 8k, 12k, 16k, 24k and 32k), I need an algorithm that will distribute all items to M players (M <= 6) in such a way that the total value of the objects each player gets is as even as possible (in other words, I want to distribute all objects to all players in the fairest way possible). I don't need (pseudo)code to solve this (also, this is not a homework :) ), but I'll appreciate any ideas or links to algorithms that could solve this. Thanks!

  Hello. I have a problem with a C# ASP .NET project in Visual Studio 2008 This problem started when I reinstalled my computer with Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. To this I'm also using Office 2007.   Hello I am a "lone wolf" game developer, and games sell more on Mac (because noone make Mac games... bizarre), so I need to make Mac games. My problem is: I don't own a Mac, and I have no way to get one (unless someone donate one to me...), I don't have money even to upgrade my crappy 3 year old PC, or buy a netbook... So, how I develop for Mac without a Mac? I guess that if I installed Mac OS on my machine, it would do, or can I just use Open Darwin instead? Or Mac OS run on virtual machines?

  Hello everyone, Im currently working on a website in the Zend Framework and finding it very useful indeed. I want both a blog and a forum in this website and wondered if there are any open-source projects of this nature that I would be able to simply copy and paste into my modular project. I was using Wordpress and BBpress previously so something like that would be good, although I do not want to hack my Zend Auth to use the Wordpress authentication system, seems like too much hard work/hacky to do.   Hello, How do I set the default selected UITabBarItem in an UITabBar that is within an UIView, not an UITabBarController? Just to clarify, the UIView does implement the protocol and the didSelectItem method works. At run-time, the tabbar works and the tabbaritems selected when the user touches them. My problem is setting the default selected item. If i use [myTabbar setSelectedItem] within the didSelectItem method it works. But outside of it, it doesn't (for example, in the viewDidLoad method of my UIView). Thanks!

  Hello, when using OnRender to draw something on the screen, is there any way to perform Hit Testing on the drawn graphics? I know I can use DrawingVisual, I'm just curious if my understanding is correct, that using OnRender to draw something you can't perform any hit testing on the drawn things?

  Hello, I have two models: class Model1(): name = CharField() url = CharField() class Model2(): model1 = ForeignKey(Model1) user = ForeignKey(User) zzz = CharField() There are 5 rows for model1 in the database, these are fixed and will rarely change. I need to display a formset for model2 that allows users to enter the zzz value, the formset must always show one form per row in the model1 table, the label for each form in the formset must be the name of the related model1. If the user deletes a model2 in the formset the next time the page loads it will render an empty zzz value for that form and the user must be able to edit the previous zzz value - meaning it must be pre populated with all model2 rows associated with the user. The idea is to print each row in the model1 table as a form instead of the user selecting the related model1 name in a select box. I know its not that complicated, but I'm seriously stumped and keep going round in circles!! Many thanks in advance.   Hello everybody. I've installed on my iPhone ad-hoc version, so it means distribution one. I've downloaded apns-shart library and tried to test push notifications on that. I have all necessary certificates. I've succeeded to push notifications using test notification project and with this everything is fine. My problem is: when I've tried to use test feedback project it fetched needed device tokens, but when I've tried to launch it second time, it return 0 bytes. What ca I do to fix the problem.

• WPF ComboBox Binding to non string object

  I'm using MVVM (MVVM Light Toolkit) and have a property on the view model which exposes a list of objects. The objects contain two properties, both strings, which correlate to an abbreviation and a description. I want the ComboBox to expose the pairing as "abbreviation - description". If I use a data template, it does this easily. I have another property on the view model which represents the object that should display as selected -- the chosen item in the ComboBox. I'm binding the ItemsSource to the list, as it represents the universe of available selections, and am trying to bind the SelectedItem to this object. I'm killing myself trying to figure out why I can't get it to work, and feeling more like a fraud by the hour. In trying to learn why this works, I created the same approach with just a list of strings, and a selected string. This works perfectly. So, it clearly has something to do with the typing... perhaps something in choosing equality? Or perhaps it has to do with the data template? • UITableView issue when using separate delegate/dataSource

  General Description: To start with what works, I have a UITableView which has been placed onto an Xcode-generated view using Interface Builder. The view's File Owner is set to an Xcode-generated subclass of UIViewController. To this subclass I have added working implementations of numberOfSectionsInTableView: tableView:numberOfRowsInSection: and tableView:cellForRowAtIndexPath: and the Table View's dataSource and delegate are connected to this class via the File Owner in Interface Builder. The above configuration works with no problems. The issue occurs when I want to move this Table View's dataSource and delegate implementations out to a separate class, most likely because there are other controls on the View besides the Table View and I'd like to move the Table View-related code out to its own class. To accomplish this, I try the following: Create a new subclass of UITableViewController in Xcode Move the known-good implementations of numberOfSectionsInTableView: tableView:numberOfRowsInSection: and tableView:cellForRowAtIndexPath: to the new subclass Drag a Table View Controller to the top level of the existing XIB in InterfaceBuilder, delete the View/TableView that are automatically created for this Table View Controller, then set the Table View Controller's class to match the new subclass Remove the previously-working Table View's existing dataSource and delegate connections and connect them to the new Table View Controller When complete, I do not have a working Table View. I end up with one of three outcomes which can seemingly happen at random: When the Table View loads, I get a runtime error indicating I am sending tableView:cellForRowAtIndexPath: to an object which does not recognize it When the Table View loads, the project breaks into the debugger without error There is no error, but the Table View does not appear With some debugging and having created a basic project just to reproduce this issue, I am usually seeing the 3rd option above (no error but no visible table view). I added some NSLog calls and found that although numberOfSectionsInTableView and numberOfRowsInSection are both getting called, cellForRowAtIndexPath is not. I am convinced I'm missing something really simple and was hoping the answer may be obvious to someone with more experience than I have. If this doesn't turn out to be an easy answer I would be happy to update with some code or a sample project. Thanks for your time! Complete steps to reproduce: Create a new iPhone OS, View-Based Application in Xcode and call it TableTest Open TableTestViewController.xib in Interface Builder and drag a Table View onto the provided view surface. Connect the Table View's dataSource and delegate outlets to File's Owner, which should already represent the TableTestViewController class. Save your changes Back in Xcode, add the following code to TableTestViewController.m: - (NSInteger)numberOfSectionsInTableView:(UITableView *)tableView { NSLog(@"Returning num sections"); return 1; } - (NSInteger)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView numberOfRowsInSection:(NSInteger)section { NSLog(@"Returning num rows"); return 1; } - (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { NSLog(@"Trying to return cell"); static NSString *CellIdentifier = @"Cell"; UITableViewCell *cell = [tableView dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier:CellIdentifier]; if (cell == nil) { cell = [[[UITableViewCell alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectZero reuseIdentifier:CellIdentifier] autorelease]; } cell.text = @"Hello"; NSLog(@"Returning cell"); return cell; } Build and Go, and you should see the word Hello appear in the TableView Now to attempt to move this TableView's logic out to a separate class, first create a new file in Xcode, choosing UITableViewController subclass and calling the class TableTestTableViewController Remove the above code snippet from TableTestViewController.m and place it into TableTestTableViewController.m, replacing the default implementation of these three methods with ours. Back in Interface Builder within the same TableTestViewController.xib file, drag a Table View Controller into the main IB window and delete the new Table View object that automatically came with it Set the class for this new Table View Controller to TableTestTableViewController Remove the dataSource and delegate bindings from the existing, previously-working Table View and reconnect the same two bindings to the new Table Test Table View Controller we created. Save changes, Build and Go, and if you're getting the results I'm getting, note the Table View no longer functions properly Solution: With some more troubleshooting and some assistance from the iPhone Developer Forums at https://devforums.apple.com/message/5453, I've documented a solution! The main UIViewController subclass of the project needs an outlet pointing to the UITableViewController instance. To accomplish this, simply add the following to the primary view's header (TableTestViewController.h): #import "TableTestTableViewController.h" and IBOutlet TableTestTableViewController *myTableViewController; Then, in Interface Builder, connect the new outlet from File's Owner to Table Test Table View Controller in the main IB window. No changes are necessary in the UI part of the XIB. Simply having this outlet in place, even though no user code directly uses it, resolves the problem completely. • PDF Manipulation with Adobe's Form Input Fields

  Hello, I am trying to simplify a process where I currently use my hand calculations of X & Y Co-Ordinates of each value. Which works fine, but is causing me a lot of pain as I have to do quite a number of PDF's. I know that I can open a PDF and insert "input fields" within Adobe Acrobat Pro, which it would be great if I could use PHP to connect to those input fields and insert a value from a PHP Form. WORKFLOW:: PHP FORM PHP PROCESSING ENGINE TO FINAL PDF WITH FORM VALUES IN THE LOCATION OF THE ADOBE INPUT FIELDS. If someone has some information on something like this it would be much appreciated.

I'm compiling libcurl for mingw32 as follows: ./configure --prefix=/Users/daniel/mingw32 "CFLAGS= -ABI=32" make make install But when compiling a program using mingw32-gcc: i386-mingw32-gcc -lcurl -o bin/remote-win.exe remote.c i get: In file included from /Users/daniel/mingw32/usr/local/include/curl/curl.h:34, from remote.c:6: /Users/daniel/mingw32/usr/local/include/curl/curlbuild.h:152:26: sys/socket.h: No such file or directory In file included from /Users/daniel/mingw32/usr/local/include/curl/curl.h:34, from remote.c:6: /Users/daniel/mingw32/usr/local/include/curl/curlbuild.h:165: error: syntax error before "curl_socklen_t" In file included from /Users/daniel/mingw32/usr/local/include/curl/curl.h:35, from remote.c:6: /Users/daniel/mingw32/usr/local/include/curl/curlrules.h:143: error: size of array `__curl_rule_01__' is negative /Users/daniel/mingw32/usr/local/include/curl/curlrules.h:153: error: size of array `__curl_rule_02__' is negative I'm pretty sure the error is because curl_socklen_t does not exist on windows. I've tried --target=--mingw32 but still no success. Please help
