    Hi, I've a .net web application which uses Lucene.net for company search functionality. When registered users add a new company,it is saved to database and also gets indexed in Lucene based company search index in real time. When adding company in Lucene index, how do I handle use case of two or more logged-in users posting a new company at the same time?Also, will both these companies get indexed without any file lock, lock time out, etc. related issues? Would appreciate if i could help with code as well. Thanks.

  • Spring security ldap authentication with different ldap for authorities

    I am trying to set up an ldap authentication context where the authorities is a separate ldap instance (with the same principal name). I am having trouble setting up the authentication part, the logs dont show any search results for the following context. Is there a way I can have a conditional in the .htaccess file similar to the one I have in the bootstrap so that it will use the correct RewriteBase?

    Hi, I am trying to parse a XML File using NSXMLParser, I also have a Container class, in which I have a few instance variables. One of the elements that I am trying to parse in the XML is: <book sn="32.859669048339128" pn="-116.917800670489670"> I am trying to save the value of sn and pn in an instance variable of object Container: NSNumber *sn, NSNumber *pn. I want it so that when my parser get the attributeValues it can save it as a Double (or float) in those NSNumber pointers. Right now, all it does it just saves a string to the NSNumber. The Parser Code looks like this: if([elementName isEqualToString:@"book"]){ container = [[Container alloc] init]; container.sn=[attributeDict objectForKey:@"sn"]; container.pn=[attributeDict objectForKey:@"pn"]; } I want it so that the type of container.sn is initialized to a float or double.     Hi, I have a Win32 application which hosts a windowless flash activeX. When I'm trying to enter Korean keyboard input on a regular Win machine (after adding Korean support), everything works fine. However, when I trying the same thing on a "real" Korean windows (Win 7 Ultimate K), the text comes out strangely. I.e., pressing the "z" button would yield "1K". Any ideas? Thanks in advace

One View displaying Phone Detail and ViewModel as per bellow: Phone basic features- PhoneViewModel, Phone Price Detail- PhoneSubscriptionViewModel, Phone Accessories- PhoneAccessoryViewModel For general properties- PhoneDetailViewModel I have placed View's general properties to PhoneViewModel.Now senario is like this: By default View displays Phone Basic feaures which is bind with ObservationCollection of PhoneViewModel. My view have button - 'View Accessories', onclick of this button one popup screen- in my design I have display/hide Grid and bind it with ObservationCollection of PhoneAccessoryViewModel. Now problem begins- Accessory List also have button 'View Detail' onclick I have to open one popup screen, here also I had placed one Grid and Visible/Hide it. I have bind 'ViewAccessoryDetailCommand' command to 'View Detail' button. And on command execution one function fires and set property which Visible the Popup screen. Using such programming command fires, function calls but the property change not raises and so my view does not display popup. Summary: One View-- ViewModel1--Grid Bind view ViewModel2 --Grid Have Button and Onclick display new Grid which binded with ViewModel3-this Command fires but property not raises. I think there is some problem in my methodology, Please, give your suggetions.

  • Problem creating ObjectContext from different project inside solution.

    I have two projects in my Solution. One implements my business logic and has defined entity model of entity framework. When I want to work with classes defined within this project from another project I have some problems in runtime. Actually, the most concerning thing is why I can not instantiate my, so called, TicketEntities(ObjectContext) object from other projects? when I catch following exception: The specified named connection is either not found in the configuration, not intended to be used with the EntityClient provider, or not valid. I found out it's brake at: public partial class TicketEntities : global::System.Data.Objects.ObjectContext { public TicketEntities() : base("name=TicketEntities", "TicketEntities") { this.OnContextCreated(); } with exception: Unable to load the specified metadata resource. Just to remind you everthing works fine from orginal project.

    I connect to my database with one session. I have always the same session in my hole program. My Thread "1" catches primary data from the database. The user must be allowed to cancel this thread. So if the user presses the cancel button to often or to fast (this is my interpretation) the following error occures: ERROR org.hibernate.AssertionFailure - HHH000099: an assertion failure occured (this may indicate a bug in Hibernate, but is more likely due to unsafe use of the session) org.hibernate.AssertionFailure: possible non-threadsafe access to the session The same errors occures if i cancel my thread "2" which is running in the background after my thread "1" ist finished and the try to load another primary data set from the database. Is the failure that i am using the same session in my two threads? What is the right way to solve such a problem?

    I'm tearing my hair out trying to work out why the command I'm executing via Java using a ProcessBuilder & Process is not working. I run the "same" command at the Windows command line and it works as expected. It must be that they're not the same but I can't for the life of me work out why.     I have a UIViewController(AbcViewController) with NavigationController.AbcViewController uses UIView(AbcView) as its view. AbcView has a UITableView. I have set This TableView's datasource in AbcViewController and delegate in its SuperView i.e. AbcView. How will I push another UIViewController(XyzViewcontroller) into navigationController when I select a row in this table because it gives "error: request for member 'navigationController' in something not a structure or union" when I do this : [self.navigationController pushViewController:xyzViewcontroller animated:TRUE]; I also did this : AbcViewController *parentVC; [parentVC.navigationController pushViewController:xyzViewcontroller animated:TRUE]; Though it builds successfully but XyzViewcontroller's view does not appear.   • Jquery fadeOut looking different in FF than in Chrome/Safari

    Hey all, i have a page that when a user desides to delete a company, it fades out using the jquery fadeOut() command. This works great and does as it should in FireFox but for some reason it doesn't do the same in Chrome/Safari browsers. The problem is that i have a png image overlay on top of the company logo image that also fades out with the company logo. But if there are more than one company logo on the page, it moves the others in the place where the one got deleted. Like i said, it works fine (and as it should) in Firefox and even IE (SHOCK!) but not in Chrome or Safari.   • Double.TryParse() input decimal separator different than system decimal separator

    I have a source XML that uses a dot (".") as a decimal separator and I am parsing this on a system that uses a comma (",") as a decimal separator. As a result, value of 0.7 gets parsed with Double.TryParse or Double.Parse as 7000000. What are my options to parse correctly? One of them is to replace dots in source with commas with String.Replace('.', ',') but I don't think I like this very much.

    Hello everybody, I've got a Problem: Here a part of my HTML: <div id="div_1"> Here Hover </div> <div id="div_2"> Here content to show </div> And here a part of my jQuery Script: jQuery('#div_2').hide(); jQuery('#div_1').onmouseover(function() { jQuery('#div_2').fadeIn(); }).onmouseout(function(){ jQuery('#div_2').fadeOut(); }); The Problem: If i hover on the div_1, the div_2 is shown, if i hover out, the div_2 is hidden, but: If i hover first on div_1 and then go over div_2, the div_2 is hidden fast. I've tried this with jQuery.addClass(); after mouseout in div_1, but nothing is changing. I dont want do make the second div in the first div... Is there another way with jQuery? Thx Ahmet

  • RenderPartial from different folder in RAZOR

    I've been trying to convert my aspx pages to cshtml and having an issue with rendering partial pages from another folder. What I used to do: <% Html.RenderPartial("~/Views/Inquiry/InquiryList.ascx", Model.InquiryList.OrderBy("InquiryId", MvcContrib.Sorting.SortDirection.Descending));%> I would think that the equivalent would be: @Html.RenderPartial("~/Views/Inquiry/_InquiryList.cshtml", Model.InquiryList.OrderBy("InquiryId", MvcContrib.Sorting.SortDirection.Descending)) This is obviously not working, I am getting the following error. CS1973: 'System.Web.Mvc.HtmlHelper' has no applicable method named 'Partial' but appears to have an extension method by that name. Extension methods cannot be dynamically dispatched. Consider casting the dynamic arguments or calling the extension method without the extension method syntax. How would I achieve this with using the Razor view engine?

  • sql - update only when values are different

    Hi folks, In SQL Server 2008, how do i update fields in a table only if their values differ with the values in the update statement ? For ex: I have TableA with column FirstName whose value is 'Roger Moore' with an unique id of '007'. Now, i am calling an update statement but it should update the 'FirstName' field only if value is something else other than 'Roger Moore'. TIA
