    I'm trying use self-signed certificate (c#): X509Certificate2 cert = new X509Certificate2(Server.MapPath("~/App_Data/myhost.pfx"), "pass"); on a shared web hosting server and I got an error: System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException: An internal error occurred. stack trace ends with System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException.ThrowCryptogaphicException(Int32 hr) +33 System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates.X509Utils._LoadCertFromFile(String fileName, IntPtr password, UInt32 dwFlags, Boolean persistKeySet, SafeCertContextHandle& pCertCtx) +0 System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates.X509Certificate.LoadCertificateFromFile(String fileName, Object password, X509KeyStorageFlags keyStorageFlags) +237 System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates.X509Certificate2..ctor(String fileName, String password) +131 On my dev machine it loads ok. The reason I load *.pfx not a *.cer file because I need a private key access (cer file loads Ok).   • Android WebView not loading a JavaScript file, but Android Browser loads it fine.

    I'm writing an application which connects to a back office site. The backoffice site contains a whole slew of JavaScript functions, at least 100 times the average site. Unfortunately it does not load them, and causes much of the functionality to not work properly. So I am running a test. I put a page out on my server which loads the FireBugLite javascript text. Its a lot of javascript and perfect to test and see if the Android WebView will load it. The WebView loads nothing, but the browser loads the Firebug Icon. What on earth would make the difference, why can it run in the browser and not in my WebView? Any suggestions. More background information, in order to get the stinking backoffice application available on a Droid (or any other platform except windows) I needed to trick the bakcoffice application to believe what's accessing the website is Internet Explorer. I do this by modifying the WebView User Agent. However the browser (the emulator on top) has the same page but shows the firebug. What am I doing wrong? I'm assuming its either not enough memory allocated to the application, process power allocation, or a physical memory thing. I can't tell, all I know is the results are strange. I get the same thing form my android device, the application shows no firebug but the browser shows the firebug.

  • Perl CGI that sends a temporary loading page to client then later sends the actual results page

    I've wasted at least a half day of my company's time searching the Internet for an answer and I'm getting wrapped around the axle here. I can't figure out the difference between all the different technology choices (long polling, ajax streaming, comet, XMPP, etc.) and I can't get a simple hello world example working on my PC. I am running Apache 2.2 and ActivePerl 5.10.0. JavaScript is completely acceptable for this solution. All I want to do is write a simple Perl CGI script that when accessed, it immediately returns some HTML that tells the user to wait or maybe sends an animated GIF. Then without any user intervention (no mouse clicks or anything) I want the CGI script to at some time later replace the wait message or the animated GIF with the actual HTML results from their query. I know this is simple stuff and websites do it all the time, but I can't find a single working example that I can cut and paste onto my machine that will work. Here is my simple Hello World example that I've compiled from various Internet sources, but it doesn't seem to work. When I refresh this CGI URL in my web browser it prints nothing for 5 seconds, then it prints the PLEASE BE PATIENT web page, but not the results web page.   • Flash CS3 -- tahoma text loading differently than on client's computer.

    A client has sent me a Flash CS3 website template she was working on. I'm supposed to do some work on it. When I load it, it displays incorrectly. The body type appears incorrectly. It's different then what it appears on her computer. Causing all the body text to overlap each other. She has Windows Vista with Flash CS3. I'm using Windows XP Professional with Flash CS4. When I open the file, it says that 'tahoma' font is missing on my computer. And asks me to select a replacement. Obviously, I have Tahoma on my computer -- everyone does. I even got her to send her version of Tahoma to me from her Windows Font Folder. When I tried to install it, it says "font already installed". So, I pointed it to my Tahoma font as a replacement. This could be the problem. But why does it not recognize my version of tahoma? Anyone know what's going on, or how I can fix it? I'm supposed to be working on this website, but can't proceed because I might be wasting time if it doesn't match up.

  • jQuery not loading on Master Page when the Content Page is in a child folder.

    I have a site where I am trying to implement a jQuery UI based MessageBox in my master page. Content pages are arranged accoring to business area folders, i.e. '~/Branding/Contracts.aspx'. I find that when I load such a content page, jQuery, which is referenced in the master page as below, does not load. I assume that this is because the browser is requesting 'Branding/Scripts/jQuery '. What can I do about this?   • NSXMLParser: how do I wait until loading has finished?

    Let's say I'm using NSXMLParser to load a level (stored as an XML document, obviously) into my iPhone game. NSXMLParser works by assigning a delegate and sending it messages at key moments. How do I ensure that my entire level is loaded before doing anything else? I know I can make my main class the delegate and implement parserDidEndDocument, but this feels very hacky. My main class shouldn't have to know anything about the way the parsing is done! On the other hand, if I make a separate class/delegate for parsing my level, my main class has no way of knowing when the parsing is finished, unless it queries the parsing class continuously or the parsing class sends it a message. Either way, the main class would be tied to the implementation of the parsing class. Can I hide all this event-driven business from the main class and simply make the parser return the level object when it's done? (i.e., newLevel = [[GameLevel alloc] initFromXML:xmlfile], which would in turn use NSXMLParser to load the level and then somehow return when finished.) At the moment, I'm using an external DOM parser, but I'm curious how this would be done with NSXMLParser. Sorry if this is a stupid question -- I'm a bit new to this!

    I am new to TFS integration with Visual Studio 2010, and I have a problem I would like to solve. Practically, when I open a solution, how can I detect, looking only at the Solution Explorer which file has been changed since my last login? I am able to discover the changed files if I look at the Latest column of Source Control Explorer but it is not so intuitive. I attach you an image for better understanding. I would like to have a different icon, not the lock, for frmAbout.vb (in this case), associated to the item in Solution Explorer. Do you have any idea how can I achieve this behavior? Or some alternatives?

When they return (-connectionDidFinishLoading) I wanna do stuff with the data, depending on the type of data that has arrived. But one prob, HOW DO I KNOW WHICH NSURLConnection returned? I need to know so I can take action specific to the type of data that came.     If I run a package from the Management Studio, and specify a configuration file, everything works as expected. However if I try and run the package from the command prompt with DTExec I get the error: Cannot load the XML configuration file. The XML configuration file may be malformed or not valid. The command I'm using to execute the package is: dtexec /conf ConfigurationDemo.dtsConfig /f Package.dtsx I am running the dtexec from the folder where these two files reside. Is there an addtional switch or something that must used to get dtexec to behave the same was at the management Stduio in launching a package?

I have a dictionary plist containing Dictionaries for each Train Line which in turn have dictionaries for each station with the relevant information along with one string lineName. I need to collect the station Names keys and add them to an array to populate my table (This is working).     When running our Silverlight 3 application out-of-browser, startup takes a little time, but it's long enough to be noticeable. During this startup, the background of the window hosting the application displays an ugly white background color. When running in-browser, we have a splash screen, but that's loaded via JavaScript of course. How can I get a splash screen working for an out-of-browser Silverlight 3? Or if that's not possible, is there a way I can at least change the background color of the window?

    I'm trying to load up console to interact with some of my rspec mocking helpers. I expected that running script/console test would load an env similar to when I run spec. However, this doesn't appear to be the case. It looks like spec_helper is never loaded. Or, if it is, it's not actually running through the logic because spork has polluted it a bit. In short, is there a quick and easy way to get an interactive rspec party going?

Now it comes to my problem: The .gallery div I call, looks, a little simplified, like this: <div class="gallery"> <span><img src="http://www.example.com/scotlandimage1.jpg"></span> <span class="imgnavi"><a href="link_to_next_page_with_one_image">Next image</href></span> </div> I want the "next image"-link to load the next page into the .gallery div (it is always a page with one image on it). But what it does, is, it opens the new page http://www.example.com/scotland only. I tried to use jquerys .live event to load the linked page (that would be "scotlandimage2" and the navigation, as you can see in the upper part - not only the image!), but I must have done something wrong. I tried different ways, but never got it to work. Now, I'm gonna load it into the WPF Project as an image, I've used the following XAML code: <Image Stretch="Fill" Source="pack://siteoforigin:,,,/images/lock.png" /> It works, but Expression Blend or Visual Studio doesn't show it when I'm working on the project. How can we show external images in these situations?

  • How can I add a "Loading...Please wait..." feature?

    I have a very simple table on my website, that displays different URL's. I have an input field where I can type in a URL and click 'Submit' to add additional URL's. However, I want to add an MD5 grabbing feature to this, using @md5_file(); to grab the MD5 of the URL and check to make sure it's the MD5 it should be, before adding it to the database. However it may take a few seconds for it to grab the MD5 and compare it, so I would like to add a little bit of text, like "Processing...Please wait..." while it does the comparing, and then once it's compared I want that text to go away. I've never done this before, or even though about doing it so I have no idea where to start. I'll go ahead and put javascript as a tag for this, since I'm guessing it would be done with javascript, but I really have no idea. I don't think it's possible with PHP, but again, I have no idea. Any suggestions?

  • HTTP Error 405 from a Tooltip loading another page.

    I have a web page that uses tooltips. I am using Prototip specifically. One of the options is to use Ajax to load another page within the tool. The Ajax functionality is coming from the Prototype framework, http://www.prototypejs.org/api/ajax/request/. All I really want to load is an image. I just don't want the image to load on page creation because there are so many images. So when I put a link to a .jpg file or even a .html file I receive the error HTTP Error 405.0 - Method Not Allowed from IIS. I am running IIS7. Is this an issue with my code or an issue with IIS7? Also, the other version of the error I am getting is The HTTP verb POST used to access path '/Images/Items/tech_over_RST.jpg' is not allowed. I receive this version of the error message when I run in debug mode from VS2010. I am also using URL Routing but not MVC.

  • Codeigniter ignoring query strings. Only loading index page.

    I have setup remote debugging in netbeans. It works except codeigniter only loads the default controller (home page). I have enabled query strings with $config['enable_query_strings'] = TRUE; The debugger opens up a page with the following url http://blinkfilms.ben.dev/myid/tests?XDEBUG_SESSION_START=netbeans-xdebug So codeigniter should fire up the controller in controllers/myid/tests.php
