• Xcode 4 and cocos2D 1.0.0 beta Uncategorized errors and Info.plist doesn't exist

  I just installed the xcode 4 sdk and the cocos2d 1.0.0 beta template. I just created a new project with the cocos2d template.   I've been trying to upgrade to 12.10 ever since it was released today but I keep meeting this error: "An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade: E:Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. This can be caused by: * Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu * Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu * Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu" I've tried updating all the currently installed software, removing all the extra PPAs, downgrading the files installed from xorg edgers' ppa but I haven't been able to solve the problem.

  I look and tried many solution from many thread but I still unable to make this wifi card work properly (very slow, unable to connect to some wifi spot, etc.). I tried to compile the driver from the ralink website but it doesn't work. Tried to blacklist many mod, withou any result. • Unable to load type error in ASP.NET 4 application on Windows Server 2003 / IIS6 -- only happens after first worker process recycle

  I'm running an ASP.NET 4.0 web application on IIS6 (Windows Server 2003 x64). This app is one of many running on this server under the Default Web Site -- but is alone on it's own application pool because the other sites are all running ASP.NET 2.0 still. When I deploy my application, it works just fine until the application pool recycles or kills its worker process (by default 2 hours or 20 minutes with no activity). After this, I get the error: "Unable to load one or more of the requested types. Retrieve the LoaderExceptions property for more information.   I am a new user of Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit and I want to test WordPress on my local PC installation. I've only installed LAMP and the latest version of WordPress for now. Further actions were creating a directory www in /home, i.e /home/www install wordpress in it. changed Apache to use /home/www instead of /var/www Apache is running smoothly & wordpress seems to be so as well. However, if try to change my background of my wordpress blog it throws an error Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2012/12. Is its parent directory writable by the server? Plese help me to resolve my problem.

  I'm a year away from graduating from university, and I'm really looking forward to solving practical problems. Especially non-trivial ones which require a bit of research and a lot of thinking. But at the same time, that is also my greatest fear - being faced with a problem that I'm unable to solve, no matter how hard I try. And with pressure to deliver code on impending deadlines just around the corner, it does look a bit scary when viewing it from the safe playgrounds on uni (where the worst thing that can happen is that you have to redo a course or exam). So for those who have been in industry for any longer length of time, what would happen if you were told to solve a problem that you couldn't? Has it happened, and if so, what did happen? Did they just drop it and said "Oh well, guess we can make do with something else"? Were there consequences? Were you reprimanded, or even fired?

  I am unable to add ubuntu server in nagios monitoring. I am getting "CHECK_NRPE: Socket timeout after 40 seconds." error for few services "CPU Load, Cron File Check, Current Users, Disk Check, NTP Daemon, Time Check, Total Processes, Zombie Processes". Please find the snapshot for the same below, Details: Installed nrpe plugin in ubuntu host. On running the below command from remote host running ubuntu (not nagios server) am getting the following output, root@ubuntu-cacher:~# /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe -H localhost NRPE v2.13 But in nagios server i am getting "CHECK_NRPE: Socket timeout after 40 seconds." error. • Unable to access jar. Why?

  I was making a game in java and exported it as jar file. Then after that, I opeed jar splice. I added the libaries and exported jar. I added the natives then i made a main class. I created a fat jar and put it on my desktop. I'm using Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. When I put in the terminal, java -jar System Front.jar it says unable to access System Front.jar Even if i double click on the file, it doesen't show up! Help! I'm using slick. I added slick and lwjgl as libraries for the jar splice at the jars.

  There is an issue, for every package that I try to install. I am using VMWare Player 3.16 & I have installed Ubuntu 12.04. The error is: E:Unable to locate package (PACKAGE NAME) Also, another problem is that there are some configuration errors. So I have to use the CLI rather than the GUI. Now if this is a network error, I'm not sure as to how to open the setting from the command prompt. Even if I get to the GUI, it might not work, as the shortcuts are not available.

• Ubuntu 13.10. Can't access Internet and unable to install anything

  After upgrading to Ubuntu 13.10 I was not able to access the Internet on any program that required it. So I uninstalled Firefox but I could reinstall from the software center so I used the terminal, everything ran smoothly, I told me how much additional space would be used, then it said "Err http://us.archive.ubuntu.com /ubuntu/ saucy/main Firefox i386 24.0+build1-0ubuntu1 Could not resolve 'us.archive.ubuntu.com Failed to fetch http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/f/firefox/firefox_24.0+build1-0ubuntu1_i386.deb Could not resolve 'us.archive.ubuntu.com' E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?" If, on the server machine, (in Nautilus) I right click on the folders and click Properties Share Share this folder Create share. Then on the client I'm prompted for a username and password. • Ubuntu One Music - 'Unable to Parse '2006-12-12T08:00:00Z' as integer (iTunes Non-DRM AAC)

  Good Morning; Title says most of it, uploaded a new song to my U1 Music (via my Android using the Files app). Which is an recently purchased iTunes .m4a song, so is non-DRM AAC. Uploaded fine, and browsing in U1 Music I see artist "Spray" fine, and then the Album, but attempting to open the Album to the song, returns: "'Unable to Parse '2006-12-12T08:00:00Z' as integer" Not sure if it's a problem with the file itself, or just how Android uploaded the file, as that is clearly a weird date code. All my other music is fine, no errors, and the service works awesome. My U1 account is under the e-mail address used for this question. Thanks!

  I'm trying to install ubunutu 12.04 on my 2005 PowerMac G5. I've burnt ubuntu-12.04-desktop-powerpc.iso. I try to boot from the live cd. I hit 'enter' to load the live environment. The kernel seems to be fine but then I get this: kernel panic - not syncing vfs unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(1,0) Then it says rebooting in 180........ and hangs. I can't do anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

• Installing VMware Worstation/Player 8.0.4 on Ubuntu 12.10 fails to load with Unable to start services

  I have been attempting to install this application for a few weeks without any success. I have installed and uninstalled the application and pathes with no change. I have even tried to load a VM in Virtualbox and install the application there to a base install of Ubuntu 12.10 and it still did not install. I have downloaded the patch and modified it to reflect the version of VMware Worstation and Player I am installing. I still receive the same error I saw in the first attempt to install the software. Which leads me to think that I am missing something. The error is: Unable to start services. See log file /tmp/vmware-root/modconfig-7674.log for details. I have the output of the log file if that will help. According to the dialogue box Virtual Network Device and VMware Blocking Filesystem fail to either load or execute. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  When working with ADO.NET Entity Data Model, its often common that we generate entity schema for more than a single table from our Database.  With Entity Model generation automated with Visual Studio support, it becomes even tempting to create and work entity models to achieve an object mapping relationship. One of the errors that you might hit while trying to update an entity set either programmatically using context.SaveChanges or while using the automatic insert/update code generated by GridView etc., is “Unable to update the EntitySet <EntityName> because it has a DefiningQuery and no <UpdateFunction> element exists in the <ModificationFunctionMapping> element to support the current operation” While the description is pretty lengthy, the immediate thing that would come to our mind is to open our the entity model generated code and see if you can update it accordingly. However, the first thing to check if that, if the Entity Set is generated from a table, whether the Table defines a primary key.  Most of the times, we create tables with primary keys.  But some reference tables and tables which don’t have a primary key cannot be updated using the context of Entity and hence it would throw this error.  Unless it is a View, in which case, the default model is read-only, most of the times the above error occurs since there is no primary key defined in the table. There are other reasons why this error could popup which I am not going into for the sake of simplicity of the post.  If you find something new, please feel free to share it in comments. • How can I email a vCard to users who are unable to download it?

  I have created vCards for the people in my business, and they are great for users on standard browsers; however, users browsing on a mobile device (notably iPhone) are unable to download and view my vCard. Is there a service that I can direct them to that will allow them to receive an email containing my vCard, or is there a simple way I can set this up myself? I am running my site on WordPress, and initial attempts have failed spectacularly. I'd like for them to be given the option to perform either action, but have the predominant action more prominently visible (probably via user agent detection). Something along the lines of: It looks like you're on an iPhone! It's a bummer they can't download vCards, but if you enter your email address, we'll wrap one up and send it your way! Don't worry, we won't send you junk email. Heck, we don't even save your email address! [email protected] Think you've got it all figured out? Fine, download the vCard instead!   Ok this is somenthing unbelievable, we have a website, users sign up and receives links to confirm they signed up BUT: 1 - microsoft blocked our IP (no one with microsoft email account can receive our emails) 2 - we tryed contacting microsoft submitting the detailed form about our problem 3 - we posted 3 times in their community about our problem 4 - we tweeted they about our problem 5 - we tryed finding out some telephone support number (the few there are arent' helping at all) Do you think we solved? the answer is NO :/ We still unable to send emails from our IP to microsoft email accounts, since 3 months back. Our emails are perfect we checked all the email headers following microsoft guidelines but it seems not enought, checking our IP reputation it seems everythings ok, indeed we can send email easly to any other provider , gmail, yahoo, etc Do you know any other way to try to get help ?
