• Amazon EC2 RSA key stopped authenticating - Permission denied (publickey)

  Authenticating to our Ubuntu EC2 instance worked fine until a little while ago. All of a sudden, the key is being rejected. When we create a new instance with the keypair, we're able to connect to the instance perfectly, so it appears to be an issue with the existing instance. Port 22 is open. Any suggestions on what to look at from a configuration standpoint so we can fix this? Any thoughts on how we can get into the box? Here is the SSH debug output. Is there anything obviously amiss?   I have the following code which shows me what users has completed ticket and this lists each user and the date they close a ticket. i.e. Paul Matt Matt Bob Matt Paul Matt Matt At the moment I manually count each user myself to see their totals for the day. • BN_hex2bn magicaly segfaults in openSSL

  Greetings, this is my first post on stackoverflow, and i'm sorry if its a bit long. I'm trying to build a handshake protocol for my own project and am having issues with the server converting the clients RSA's public key to a Bignum. It works in my clent code, but the server segfaults when attempting to convert the hex value of the clients public RSA to a bignum. • Advice using leaks in instruments for noobs

  Hello I am pretty new to iphone development. I have run my app for the first time using the "Leaks" from "Instruments". It shows me several leaks around 20 the smallest is 32 bytes and there is one with 1KB. I have followed the memory management guidelines, (i (think i) understand how and when to use release, not to use it when adding to autorelease pools, for every copy, retain, init there should be a release,... etc). I don't think I understand the output of the Leaks in instruments. What does "Responsible library" and "Responsible frame" mean. Because there are some classes and methods i never used directly. Are there any good tutorials for debugging memory leaks in instruments or other advice you can give me regarding leaks. Thanks in advance. Here are the largest 2 leaks. • trigger config transformation in TFS 2010 or msbuild

  I'm attempting to make use of configuration transformations in a continuous integration environment. I need a way to tell the TFS build agent to perform the transformations. I was kind of hoping it would just work after discovering the config transform files (web.qa-release.config, web.production-release.config, etc...). But it doesn't. I have a TFS build definition that builds the right configurations (qa-release, production-release, etc...) and I have some specific .proj files that get built within these definitions and those contain some environment specific parameters eg: <PropertyGroup Condition=" '$(Configuration)'=='production-release' "> <TargetHost Condition=" '$(TargetHost)'=='' ">qa.web</TargetHost> ... </PropertyGroup> <PropertyGroup Condition=" '$(Configuration)'=='qa-release' "> <TargetHost Condition=" '$(TargetHost)'=='' ">production.web</TargetHost> ... </PropertyGroup> I know from the output that the correct configurations are being built. Now I just need to learn how to trigger the config transformations. Is there some hocus pocus that I can add to the final .proj in the build to kick off the transform and blow away the individual transform files?

  I have a SQL query that is supposed to pull out a record and concat each to a string, then output that string. The important part of the query is below. Is there some reason that concatenation won't work inside a While loop? That seems wrong, since incrementing @counter works perfectly. So is there something else I'm missing?

• Fail to load NPAPI plugin in Google Chrome on Mac OS X

  I have been trying to get Google Chrome (6.0.401.1 dev) on Mac OS X to load an NPAPI plugin without success so far. I have been working around the npsimple example from here: http://git.webvm.net/?p=npsimple. Using gcc on Mac and VC++ 2008 on Windows I managed to get it running on Safari and Firefox on Mac OS X and Firefox and Google Chrome on Windows, but not on Google Chrome on Mac OS X. When trying to debug Google Chrome on Mac OS X it seemed Google Chrome was briefly dyld-loading (and immediately dyld-unloading) the plugin on startup, but without actually looking-up any symbols within the plugin or calling any of the functions. It seemed to be doing that for every plugin, though. Also, when loading a page with the embed-tag for the plugin, Google Chrome did not seem to even dyld-load the plugin and no functions were called (not even NP_GetEntryPoints). Google Chrome also does not output any error message, it just simply does not load the plugin. I am not sure I caught everything with gdb because of Google Chrome using different processes, but I have also tried all the switches like --no-sandbox, --single-process and --plugin-startup-dialog (which incidentally does not seem to work at all on Mac OS X). I also made sure the architecture of the binary matches (i.e. 32-bit for Google Chrome). Has anybody had similar problems before? Is there anything I am missing here, like a gcc switch when compiling or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are there any methods of optimization that exist for finding perfect numbers? • Eclipse RAP - Firefox doesn't forget session

  We've got an Eclipse RAP application that's behaving a bit strangely in Firefox - two distinct problems. When you browse around, you can click on a button in one part of the system. This opens a popup window like so: IWorkbenchBrowserSupport bs; bs = PlatformUI.getWorkbench().getBrowserSupport(); int style = IWorkbenchBrowserSupport.AS_EXTERNAL; IWebBrowser b = bs.createBrowser(style, getRandomID(), "Hello world", ""); b.openURL(new URL(...)); where the URL is another servlet in the application. This servlet is in the same runtime, but has nothing to do with RAP - it takes a binary blob from in-memory storage and dumps it in the output stream. Problem 1: This causes the HTTP session to die in firefox, and shows the "session expired" RAP error page with a link to restart the session. Problem 2: Now, when you click on the link to restart the session, it shows the application's dialog again, but the session expired error is shown again the moment you do anything. This prevents the user from using the system again, unless Firefox is closed down completely and restarted. A quick peek with FireBug reveals that the JSESSIONID passed by Firefox does not change. Has anyone seen this before?

  I'm using Struts2 validation on a web form. In the case that a field is suppose to be an integer or Date, the <s:fielderror> message I receive is a generic Invalid field value for field "[fieldname]" Naturally, I want to customize this for the user. Here's an example validation: <field name="spouseDOB"> <field-validator type="date"> <message>"Spouse Date of Birth" is invalid.</message> </field-validator> <field-validator type="date"> <param name="min">01/01/1900</param> <message>"Spouse Date of Birth" must be after 1900 AD. </field-validator> </field> The message "Spouse Date of Birth" is invalid. never appears, for any invalid date that I have tried. The output is the generic Invalid field value for field spouseDOB spouseDOB is a java.util.Date object in the action class. It is set by a <s:textfield> in the JSP.

• Encrypt/Decrypt ECB/PKS5/Blowfish between AS3Crypto & Javax.Crypto fails with padding error

  I have a secret key that was sent to me as a file so I can encrypt some xml data using Blowfish. How do I access the key so that I can use it with AS3Crypto? I assume I need to Embed it using the [Embed] meta tag. It's mimeType="application/octet-stream" but I'm not sure if thats right. How do I embed, then reference this file as the secret key? The xmls that I'm encrypting cannot be decrypted on the Java side. Each attempt fails with this exception: javax.crypto.BadPaddingException: Given final block not properly padded. As a bonus, if anyone has experience using the lib to work with the Java implementation and knows the ideal mode/padding/IV to use that would be awesome. Thanks! //keyFile is an embedded asset. Now in this page when user's name is displayed its showing rai.. thats the QUESTION why?? cause session should store the same mohit value cause we havnt made any change in session..

• How to produce an HTTP 403-equivalent WCF Message from an IErrorHandler?

  I want to write an IErrorHandler implementation that will handle AuthenticationException instances (a proprietary type), and then in the implementation of ProvideFault provide a traditional Http Response with a status code of 403 as the fault message. So far I have my first best guess wired into a service, but WCF appears to be ignoring the output message completely, even though the error handler is being called. Or is it because the message I'm building is simply wrong!? I can verify that the event log is indeed not receiving anything. My current test environment is a WebGet method (both XML and Json) hosted in a service that is created with the WebServiceHostFactory, and Asp.Net compatibility switched off. The service method simply throws the exception in question.

• Reading a WAV file into VST.Net to process with a plugin

  Hello, I'm trying to use the VST.Net and NAudio frameworks to build an application that processes audio using a VST plugin. Ideally, the application should load a wav or mp3 file, process it with the VST, and then write a new file. I have done some poking around with the VST.Net library and was able to compile and run the samples (specifically the VST Host one). What I have not figured out is how to load an audio file into the program and have it write a new file back out. I'd like to be able to configure the properties for the VST plugin via C#, and be able to process the audio with 2 or more consecutive VSTs. Using NAudio, I was able to create this simple script to copy an audio file.
