• Authlogic OpenID: Fetching E-Mail from Provider.

  This is a really weird problem: I have set up the authlogic_openid_selector_example app. When i register, the email id is not returned by the openid provider the first time. But if i delete the account and register again, the email id is returned. But this doesn't seem to be happening in the example hosted here: http://big-glow-mama.heroku.com/. How do i fix this problem? Has this got to do with caching? I have hosted my version of the app here: http://pingauthtest.heroku.com/ I guess the author of authlogic_openid_selector_example app (@holden) has forgotten to commit new changes. :) I looked at my development log and the first time the provider doesn't return the openid.ext1.value.ext0 which contains the email id. This is returned the second time only after having deleted the account first. • SQL model optimization question

  I need to keep track of number of "hits" on a particular item in a DB. The thing is that the "hits" should stay unique with a user ID, so if a user hits the item 3 times, it should still count for a hit of 1. Also, I need to display the total number of hits for a particular item. Is there a better way than to store each hits for each items by each users in a separate table? Would keeping the user ID in a string separated by commas a better and efficient way?

  I'm implementing a prototype of a RESTful API using ASP.NET MVC and apart from the odd bug here and there I've achieve all the requirements I set out at the start, apart from callers being able to use the X-HTTP-Method-Override custom header to override the HTTP method. What I'd like is that the following request... GET /someresource/123 HTTP/1.1 X-HTTP-Method-Override: DELETE ...would be dispatched to my controller method that implements the DELETE functionality rather than the GET functionality for that action (assuming that there are multiple methods implementing the action, and that they are marked with different [AcceptVerbs] attributes).   JQuery Dialog is giving me lots of pain lately. I have the following div which I want to be popped up. When the document loads, the <div #confirmation> is deleted from the markup! I had a similar issue earlier, but I cannot use that solution here. On this page I can have multiple PopUp divs. When I added the initialization in just before opening it; the form popped up. But after I close it, the div is removed; so I am not able to see the popup again.

• Can't Prevent Nested Div's from Overflowing when using Percent Sizes and Padding in CSS?

  I want to be able to layout nested divs with these properties: width: 100% height: 100% padding: 10px I want it to be such that, the children are 100% width and height of the remaining space after padding is calculated, not before. Otherwise, when I have a document like the below example, the child makes the scrollbars appear. But the scrollbars are not the main issue, the fact that the child stretches beyond the width of the parent container is. I can use all position: absolute declarations, but that doesn't seem right. Each post has a foreign key relation to a "Thread" and a "User" as well as a creation date. The trick is I don't want to show two posts by the same user or two posts in the same thread. Is it possible to create a query that contains all this logic? # Grab the last 10 posts. • How can I reset addAttributeToFilter in Magento searches

  I'm having problems getting the addAttributeToFilter function within a loop to behave in Magento. However, the values fed into addAttributeToFilter on the first itteration of the loop seem to remain stored for each search. I've tried clearing my search object, for example, unset($searcher) and unset($result). I've also tried magento functions such as getNewEmptyItem(), resetData(), distinct() and clear() but none have the desired effect. Basically what I am trying to do is check for duplicate products before my script attempts to programatically create a product with these attribute combinations. The array of attribute selections may be of varying sizes hence the need for a loop. I would be very appreiciative if anyone might be able to shed some light on my problem.

• How to scroll to the new added item in a ListView

  Hi all My application show a ListView with a button which allow user to add an element. When the user clicks on this button, another Activity is started to allow user to populate the new element. When the add is finished, we return to the previous Activity with the ListView and I would like to scroll to the new element. Note that this element is not necessarily at the end of the ListView because there is an "order by" when I retrieve the datas from the database. I know I need the cursor position of the new element to make the ListView scrool to it, but the only info I have about this element is its id, so how to convert this id to cursor position ? Do I have to loop on the cursor to find the position ? Thanks in advance

• HTML/CSS set div to height of sibling

  I have 2 div's contained in a third. One of the contained div's is floated left, the other floated right. I would like the 2 sibling div's to always be at the same height, but am having a problem with this. So far I am only viewing the page in Firefox, and figured I'd worry about any cross-browser issues after I get it working in at least one browser. Now, how would people structure this? Would you make sure the service function returned a CategoryViewModel? Have the controller pull the data from the service then call another function to covnert to a view model?

I made a maven multi module project with the following modules: /api /domain /repositories /webapp I like to share the domain and the repositories between the api and the webapp (both web projects).   I have created a new custom list form that will show 4 fields on the page from a Custom List called "Shipment". I have added Form Action button that I would like to run a custom action that is set inside of a Workflow. Currently, the form displays the fields for "Manifest Number", "Pickup Location", "Delivery Location", & "Scheduled Pickup Time". When the user clicks the Form Action button, what I want the Workflow to do is go to the ID field of the displayed content in the Form and change the value of the "Picked Up" column from No to Yes. The problem I am having is passing the ID of the displayed information from the Form to the Workflow as a variable. I can get the "Picked Up" column to update if I specify the value in the "Update List Item" window under the "Find the List Item" section, but I cannot figure out how to do this dynamically from the Form
