    I need to create simple pagination of objects, but when I read manual I found out that query.setRange(5, 10); will fetch 10 objects, even when only 5 objects are needed. Is there anyway to fetch just needed objects? EDIT: I started bounty, so fi you can show me simple example code in Java that works, then I will accept you answer.

  • MySQL: How to check if a string is a valid DATE, TIME or DATETIME

    When I try to put a value into a DATE field which is invalid, MySQL seems to use 0000-00-00 instead. Is there a way I can do this "check" without updating a DATE field? And to do it from for example PHP? Like, is there a way I can query the MySQL server and ask "Hey, is this DATE, TIME or DATETIME valid to you?" Or is there maybe an even better way of doing it?

    I have a table generated from some PHP code that lists a SMALL amount of important information for employees. I want to make it so each row, or at least one element in each row can be clicked on so the user will be redirected to ALL of the information (pulled from MySQL database) related to the employee who was clicked on. I am not sure how would be the best way to go about this, but I am open to suggestions. I would like to stick to PHP and/or JavaScript.     Using SQL ManagementStudio 2008 I created SQL 3.5 Compact DB (TestCompact.sdf) and I have created subscription to existing Publication. Using SQL Management Studio it is working. I have transfered TestCompact.sdf to Windows Mobile 5 emulator device and with QueryAnalyzer for Mobile I could query existing tables in TestCompact.sdf. I don't know how to start replication synchronization on that mobile device. Do I need to write some C# code or it is possible do it more simple?

    I need cod in C#. Look, i am trying to post the search.aspx page which contains Asp.Net grid. When grid is rendered it loads very first page on the screen and then there are number of pages in the grid header. I scrap first page, and now i want to move on to the next page. I used it but it did not work on this page. the trick is, you can pass __EVENTTARGET and __EVENTARGUMENT in query string to navigate through the gird but it does not work on this website. I am desperately searching a way, how to cope with this website. i really want this done. i do not want any code but a way to nevigate throgh the grid using query string if it does work. Otherwise please be specific to the problem.

I would like to run DAvg() over this subset. This is how I've gotten around it: =DAvg([FieldToAvg], [SubformQuery], "ChildField=Forms.MasterForm.MasterField And FieldToAvg > 0") but what I actually want is something like: =DAvg([FieldToAvg], [SubformCurrentlyDisplayedData], "FieldToAvg > 0") Is this possible in Access 2007?
