  • HttpHandler to handle all kinds of URL's in Mono Apache/XSP in order to build a REST service

    Hi, I want to develop my own REST service, so I've created a HttpHandler that is configured with verb="" and path="", the the application in "~/MyRESTsrv/" will handle any derivated URL. This approach works good in IIS7 with "integrated mode" and apparently in IIS6 if you map all the extensions to "aspnet_isapi.dll". Is this possible in Apache/XSP with Mono? Do I have to do something special or it will work out of the box? Cheers.

  • Add Silverlight Bing Maps Control to Windows Mobile 7 application

    I know the bits just came out today, but one of the first things I want to do with the newly released Windows Mobile 7 SDK is put a map up on the screen and mess around. I've downloaded the latest version of the Silverlight Maps Control and added the references to my application. As a matter of fact, the VS 2010 design view of the MainPage.xaml shows the map control after adding the namespace and placing the control. I'm using the provided VS 2010 Express version that comes with the Win Mobile 7 SDK and have just used the New Project - Windows Phone Application template. When I try to build I get two warnings related to the Microsoft.Maps.MapControl dll's. Warning 1 The primary reference "Microsoft.Maps.MapControl, Version=1.0.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=498d0d22d7936b73, processorArchitecture=MSIL" could not be resolved because it has an indirect dependency on the framework assembly "System.Windows.Browser, Version=2.0.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7cec85d7bea7798e" which could not be resolved in the currently targeted framework.     Hi all, My problem: First of hopefully this is not a duplicate, but I could not find the right answer(right away). I would like to validate that an URI(http) is valid in Java. I came up with the following tests but I can't get them to pass. First I used getPort(), but then http://www.google.nl will return -1 on getPort().     I've installed Python and yum from source (configure, make, make install), not using RPMs because that's leading to several other issues. So when I executed: # yum update ...   • QWebView not loading external resources

    Hi. I'm working on a kiosk web browser using Qt and PyQt4. QWebView seems to work quite well except for one quirk. If a URL fails to load for any reason, I want to redirect the user to a custom error page. I've done this using the loadFinished() signal to check the result, and change the URL to the custom page if necessary using QWebView.load(). However, any page I attempt to load here fails to pull in external resources like CSS or images. Using QWebView.load() to set the initial page at startup seems to work fine, and clicking any link on the custom error page will result in the destination page loading fine. It's just the error page that doesn't work. I'm really not sure where to go next. I've included the source for an app that will replicate the problem below. It takes a URL as a command line argument - a valid URL will display correctly, a bad URL (eg. But when I run the Development Mode, the styles are not applied! I tried many different approaches, but it still doesn't work. What I noticed, is that in the HTML, the VerticalPanel is given the class name obfuscated by GWT, but the CSS is not send to the browser - in fact, the GWT doesn't even ask for it. Am I missing something?

    I'm trying to set up cachefilesd to work with my network folder shared using NFS. I have seemingly everything set up, however cachefilesd starts normally, however caching isn't functioning.     Hello community, as mentioned above - i encountered serious troubles. here are the versions of the related software: SuSE 11.2, Thunderbird v.3.1.6, released October 27, 2010, Firefox 3.6 v3.6.12 I created an installations with an own partition both for the user and for the TB-Mails. For a new installation on another hardware i took these partitions. When i wanted to read the emails, i got an error-message like this: The GPG-agent for your GnuPG-version 2.0.12 couldn´t get started Further i got an error message for the access on services of enigmail. The file jar:file:///usr/lib/mozilla/extensions/{3550f703-e582-4d05-9a08-453d09bdfdc6}/{847b3a00-7ab1-11d4-8f02-006008948af5}/chrome/enigmail.jar!/locale/de-DE/enigmail/help/initError.html couldn´t get found. I found out, that this path doesn´t come from TB nor from firefox, but from enigmail. I installed several (un-)pack-programs. the only effect was, that in the menu of TB the entry for OpenPGP appeared in the TB-Menu. The errors as described above repeat at every try to read an email. I deleted and re-installed enigmail, but the errors dont´t disappear. What can i do to get rid these error-messages ? Thanks in advance

    I am looking into solutions for providing multiple login methods to my site. I found rpxnow.com and they map user accounts from all the different networks. My question is how do they know that I am user1 on twitter and bigdude2 on facebook? I'm hoping it goes beyond email lookups. The end result I want is a unique user in my database no matter what account they sign in with, dupes are a no-no, but most likely inevitable I am guessing.

Wizard has 3 steps - all work's great, but when i click browser back button steps changed and i lose all previous information. When i click wizard previouse button - i can see my information. i try this: http://dotnetslackers.com/articles/ajax/HandlingTheBackButtonFromServerCode.aspx but ScriptManager1.IsInAsyncPostBack always is false, and a hasn't hisotry - second problem: i want to get all information in this step Maybe some other solutions??

    I am using mysql-xampp v3.0.2 version. while restarting the mysql server first it show me the running status and after 2or3s it stops running automatically.
