Obtain reference to View in ActionScript class within ViewNavigatorApplication

I've got a very simple project in FlashBuilder 4.5. It's a mobile application of type ViewNavigatorApplication with a single view, MapView. In the MapView.mxml file, I've got a Flex component of type Map declared in xml. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <s:View xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009" name="CatBusMapView"> <fx:Script> <![CDATA[ import com.esri.ags.Map; .... ]]> </fx:Script> <fx:Declarations> .... </fx:Declarations> <esri:Map id="cbm"> ... </esri:Map> </s:View> In this same project, I've an actionscript class called UserGeolocation. In this class, I'm attempting to get a reference to this map component. So far, I can get a reference to the top-level application, its ViewNavigator and the NavigationStack of said ViewNavigator. However, I cannot find a way to access the MapView, much less the map I've declared within it. I'm aware of methods like firstView() and activeView(), but I want an absolute solution, one that retrieves the view regardless of whether or not it's first or active. I've tried navigator.getChildByName("MapView") with no luck.

How to replace auto-implemented c# get body at runtime or compile time?

I've been trying to figure this out all night, but I guess my knowledge of the .Net Framework just isn't that deep and the problem doesn't exactly Google well, but if I can get a nod in the right direction I'm sure I can implement it, one way or another. I'd like to be able to declare a property decorated with a custom attribute as such: public MyClass { [ReplaceWithExpressionFrom(typeof(SomeOtherClass))] public virtual bool MyProperty { get; } } public SomeOtherClass : IExpressionHolder<MyClass, bool> { ... } public interface IExpressionHolder<TArg, TResult> { Expression<Func<TArg, TResult>> Expression { get; } } And then somehow - this is the part I'm having trouble figuring - replace the automatically generated implementation of that getter with a piece of custom code, something like: Type expressionHolderType = LookupAttributeCtorArgTypeInDeclarationOfPropertyWereReplacing(); return ReplaceWithExpressionFromAttribute.GetCompiledExpressionFrom(expressionHolderType)(this); The main thing I'm not sure how to do is replace the automatic implementation of the get. The first thing that came to mind was PostSharp, but that's a more complicated dependency than I care for. I'd much prefer a way to code it without using post-processing attached to the build (I think that's the jist of how PostSharp sinks its hooks in anyway). The other part of this I'm not so sure about is how to retrieve the type parameter passed to the particular instantiation of the ReplaceWithExpressionFrom attribute (where it decorates the property whose body I want to replace; in other words, how do I get typeof(SomeOtherClass) where I'm coding the get body replacement). I plan to cache compiled expressions from concrete instances of IExpressionHolder, as I don't want to do that every time the property gets retrieved. I figure this has just got to be possible. At the very least I figure I should be able to search an assembly for any method decorated with the attribute and somehow proxy the class or just replace the IL or .. something? And I'd like to make the integration as smooth as possible, so if this can be done without explicitly calling a registration or initialization method somewhere that'd be super great. Thanks!

C#: HTTPWebResponse using application/x-www-form-urlencoded

So I sent an HTTPWebRequest using application/x-www-form-urlencoded as my content type. I assume that this means the reponse will be returned in a similar type? (EDIT: Have now been told this isn't the case) My question is this. How do I access the different key/value pairs returned in the response. My code so far looks like this. I can of course read the string but surely there is a better way to access the data other than ripping the string apart. cython setup.py gives .o instead of .dll

Hi, I am a newbie to cython, so pardon me if I am missing something obvious here. I am trying to build c extensions to be used in python for enhanced performance. I have fc.py module with a bunch of function and trying to generate a .dll through cython using dsutils and running on win64: c:\python26\python c:\cythontest\setup.py build_ext --inplace I have the dsutils.cfg in C:\Python26\Lib\distutils. As required the disutils.cfg has the following config settings: [build] compiler = mingw32 My startup.py looks like this: from distutils.core import setup from distutils.extension import Extension from Cython.Distutils import build_ext ext_modules = [Extension('fc', [r'C:\cythonTest\fc.pyx'])] setup( name = 'FC Extensions', cmdclass = {'build_ext': build_ext}, ext_modules = ext_modules ) I have latest version mingw for target/host amdwin64 type builds. I have the latest version of cython for python26 for win64. Cython does give me an fc.c without errors, only a few warning for type conversions, which I will handle once I have it right. Further it produces fc.def an fc.o files Instead of giving a .dll. I get no errors. I find on threads that it will create the .so or .dll automatically as required, which is not happening.

Netbeans, JPA Entity Beans in seperate projects. Unknown entity bean class

I am working in Netbeans and have my entity beans and web services in separate projects. I include the entity beans in the web services project however the ApplicaitonConfig.java file keeps getting over written and removing the entries I make for the entity beans in the associated jar file. My question is: is it required to have both the EntityBeans and the WebServices share the same project/jar file? I think it is tied to the fact that the entities are not being "registered" with the entity manager. However i do not know why they are not being registered.

I'm trying to pass a nullable bool to my controller. But when I pass the bool value from my view to the controller, it's being passed null all the time regardless of the value it has in my view. But my intention is to use nullable bool to have three options: null (when user doesn't touch the checkbox), true(checked) and false(unchecked). I know it sounds not smart and silly, but I'm just trying to figure out how nullable bool is working, and what is the intention of having such a thing in C# (I'm new with C#). I was wondering if it is possible to do so with just checkbox and without the use of dropdownlist or radio buttons.

In the form we have this where IntaktsBudgetsType is a poorly named enum that only specifies wether to populate the datagridview after customer or product (You do the budgeting either after product or customer) private void UpdateGridView() { bs = new BindingSource(); bs.DataSource = intaktsbudget.GetDataSource(this.comboBoxKundID.Text, IntaktsBudgetsType.PerKund); dataGridViewIntaktPerKund.DataSource = bs; } This populates the datagridview with a database view that merge the product, budget and customer tables. The logic has the following method to get the correct set of IList from the repository which only does GetTable<T>.ToList<T> public IEnumerable<IntaktsBudgetView> GetDataSource(string id, IntaktsBudgetsType type) { IList<IntaktsBudgetView> list = repository.SelectTable<IntaktsBudgetView>(); switch (type) { case IntaktsBudgetsType.PerKund: return from i in list where i.kundId == id select i; case IntaktsBudgetsType.PerProdukt: return from i in list where i.produktId == id select i; } return null; } Now I don't want to use a database view since that is read-only and I want to be able to perform CRUD actions on the datagridview. I could build a class that acts as a wrapper for the whole thing and bind the different table values to class properties but that doesn't seem quite right since I would have to do this for every single thing that requires "the merge". Something pretty important (and probably basic) is missing the the thought process but after spending a weekend on google and in books I give up and turn to the SO community.

I'm trying to learn some javascript and i'm having trouble figuring out why my code is incorrect (i'm sure i'm doing something wrong lol), but anyways I am trying to create a login page so that when the form is submitted javascript will call a function that checks if the login is in a mysql database and then checks the validity of the password for the user if they exist. however I am getting an error (Illegally Formed XML Syntax) i cannot resolve. Segmentation fault on instationation of more than 1 object

Connecting grouped dots/points on a scatter plot based on distance

I have 2 sets of depth point measurements, for example: > a depth value 1 2 2 2 4 3 3 6 4 4 8 5 5 16 40 6 18 45 7 20 58 > b depth value 1 10 10 2 12 20 3 14 35 I want to show both groups in one figure plotted with depth and with different symbols as you can see here plot(a$value, a$depth, type='b', col='green', pch=15) points(b$value, b$depth, type='b', col='red', pch=14) The plot seems okay, but the annoying part is that the green symbols are all connected (though I want connected lines also). I want connection only when one group has a continued data points at 2 m interval i.e. the symbols should be connected with a line from 2 to 8 m (green) and then group B symbols should be connected from 10-14 m (red) and again group A symbols should be connected (green), which means I do NOT want to see the connection between 8 m sample with the 16 m for group A. An easy solution may be dividing the group A into two parts (say, A-shallow and A-deep) and then plotting A-shallow, B, and A-deep separately. But this is completely impractical because I have thousands of data points with hundreds of groups i.e. I have to produce many depth profiles. Therefore, there has to be a way to program so that dots are NOT connected beyond a prescribed frequency/depth interval (e.g. 2 m in this case) for a particular group of samples. Any idea?

$_FILES is null, $_POST is not null

When I am going to upload a file, my $_POST variable knows the file name, but the $_FILES variable is null. I've used this code before, so I'm really stumped. Here's what I'm using for input: <label for="importFile">Attach Resume:</label> <input type="hidden" name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="10000000"> <input type="file" name="importFile" id="importFile" class="validate['required']"> And for processing: $uploaddir = "E:/Sites/OPL/2008/assets/apps/newjobs/resumes/"; $uploadfile = $uploaddir . time() . '-' . urlencode(basename($_FILES['importFile']['name'])); if (!move_uploaded_file($_FILES['importFile']['tmp_name'], $uploadfile)) { echo 'Error uploading file. Error number: NULL Maintaining The OPL Website.doc Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Quality questionnaire php mysql graphipcs

Hi, i'm making a questionnaire about a service quality, its contains the options (poor, regular, good, very good). It's contains 6 questions (radio button) and a suggestion box (textbox). In the table of the database i created 6 rows for questions, 1 for suggestion and 1 for date (a friend of mine tole me to use this but i didn't get why). q1) I'm going to atribute a value form 1 to 4 to the radio buttons options, and i'd like to sum every answer for each question, and then divide by the numbers of user that answered that question and give the mean. how am i supposed to to that? I'd also like generate reports of the month, of the year. q2) not only about the questionnaire but for registration too. I need all the fields to be completed, no blank options, if he don't complete all of fields it'll not be submitted and there will be a warning message to the user. q3) about the field type, i'd like it to be the same class that is in the database, i'm having a "problem". Ex: Name(varchar) : 1234(int), in the field 'name' of the table of the database 1234 will be shown as name, and i don't want this, i want only the type that i declared in the construction of the table. q4) i'd also like to know if it's possible to create pizza graphics, about the percentage of each question, is this possible? q5) I'm using phpmyadmin and some of my id's are auto_increment, but 'cause of my tests they at a high number, i'd like to restart to 0 the ids number, is this possible? Photoshop CS4. How do I make sure my color stays the same in my different .psd files? (could be RGB

I asked 2 photoshop experts I know but they haven't got a clue because all my settings are exactly the same, in both files. (except the RGB type !! I'm not sure. Please read on) I use RGB color, 72DPI, 8 bits / channel. No adjustments (filters, like greyscale, etc ...) are selected / used. The layers are both normal, and opacity and fill are 100% (yes, in both files). I took two screenshots, and you can see the difference: http://www.flickr.com/photos/30465871@N05/4623864297/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/30465871@N05/4624469754/ Both colors are ff795d, but that doesn't matter, any color I use gives me the same problem: they both look different. Now, I know the CMYK settings (see screenshots) are different, but when the settings are the same the color changes. Why is this happening and how do I solve this problem? My guess is I'm working with different a type of RGB. It's sRGB IE61966 - 2.1 in the file I created (file info raw data) but I can't find that in the file that started with a screenshot. If that's the problem, how do I change / convert the RGB, once the file is already open? Thank you.

How do I find the highest level TR that contains a specific ID nested in a table

I have some HTML that looks like this (NOTE: I know this code isn't great but I didn't design it originally and some of it is auto generated): <table id="tab1"> <tr> <td><span>Some text</span></td> <td><span>more text</span></td> <td><input type="text" id="inp1" onclick="DoSomething(this);" /></td> </tr> <tr> <td><span>Some text</span></td> <td><span>more text</span></td> <td><table id="tab2"> <tr><td><input type="radio" id="inp2" onclick="DoSomething(this);" /><span>item</span></td></tr> </table></td> </tr> </table> All of that is embedded in a table which is also embedded in a table and so on. In the DoSomething(this) function I want to retrieve the TR underneath the table tab1. I'm having trouble figuring out the jquery necessary for this. Currently I'm doing something like this: function DoSomething(control) { var parentTab = '<%=tab1.ClientID %>'; var tr = $('#' + parentTab + ' > tbody > tr').has('#' + $(control).attr('id')).get(0); } This seems really messy but works. Is there a cleaner way to do this? If it helps the input inside the table will always be a radio button and a radio button will never appear outside of a sub table. Ideally I'd like to do this without having to know the id of tab1 but that seems impossible.
