  • ValidateRequest ="false" for single input

    I'm wanting to allow users to enter HTML in only a single textbox. I understand it's possible to change ValidateRequest in the Page directive to false in order to remove protection. I'm guessing that this allows HTML to be entered in any textbox on the page. Is there anyway to apply ValidateRequest=False on only a single control? Thanks for any help.

    I have a custom Dialog that contains only a TextView to display some text in my application. The documentation lists that only the b, i, u, tt, big, small, sup, sub, and strike tags are supported. I really need to add some newlines for readability. Do I need to change to a more complicated layout, or is there some way to encode newlines in the resource? I tried adding br tags, but that did not help.

    Let's say you have two objects (UITextviews) in your class. When the text view changes, you have a delegate method that catches the change.. but how can you tell programatically WHICH object was changed and called the delegate ?? I have to be missing something, because this should be trivial, but I couldnt find anything. Note: In this case, its not possible to just break up the class to only have one object (there by bypassing ambiguity).. I looked for things like assigned variable names for nsobjects, nothing there

    I am using JAXB to bind XML to Java for an application that I am writing. I have an element called measure which contains two amount elements called amount and maxAmount, with which I want to model a lower and an upper limiting value. amount and maxAmount are otherwise identical and I would like them to be implemented with the same class when unmarshalled into Java.     In my remote bare repository the HEAD is pointing to "refs/heads/master" and I want it to point to "refs/heads/other". I am not able to go to remote repository directory and run git symbolic-ref.     Where I work, we use Bugzilla extensively for bug and feature tracking. We take advantage of the built in milestones to help us manage our timelines better, but sometimes priorities shift and milestones need to be rearranged. During this time we use the "change several bugs at once" feature to move them around, but the result is a ton of bugspam for everyone involved (except the person actually doing the changing, of course). Is there any way to easily turn off emails if many bugs are being changed at once?

  • How is the Viewflipper handling the back button in Android?

    I'm thinking about using a ViewFlipper for an Wizard like Activity. But I see one problem with this approach. The back button. Will the back button go back to the last shown activity or will the the Viewflipper somehow catch the back button event and only change to the last shown activity? I suspect the ViewFlipper to be treated as one Activity on the BackStack so is seems that is the wrong aproach for a wizard. Is this correct?

    I have a file located at [application]/config/routing.yml, when I change something in there, the changes aren't active. This probably has to do with the cache as when I go into that directory [cache]/[application]/prod/config the currently active file can be seen config_routing.yml.php. The lifetime of the cache is generally 86400 seconds, is there a way that I can immediately view/activate the changes?

There isn't any desktop projection matrix by which the desktop surface is projected to the screen. But the user can still operate the OS on the distorted desktop(Click the shortcut to run a program, open the ie to surf the internet). Addition3: The shapes of all the programs run on the OS are changed with the distortion of the screen. It's realtime. The user can still operate the OS on the distorted screen as usually. Maybe we can intercept or override the GPU itself to implement the effect. I'm investigating GDI, I think I can find some clue for that.   • Counting point size based on chart area during zooming/unzoomin

    Hi folks. I heave a quite simple task. I know (I suppose) it should be easy, but from the reasons I cannot understand, I try to solve it since 2 days and I don't know where I'm making the mistake. So, the problem is as follows: - we have a chart with some points - The chart starts with some known area and points have known size - we would like to "emulate" the zooming effect. So when we zoom to some part of the chart, the size of points is getting proportionally bigger. In other words, the smaller part of the chart we select, the bigger the point should get. So, we have something like that. We know this two parameters: initialArea; // Initial area - area of the whole chart, counted as width*height initialSize; // initial size of the points Now lets assume we are handling some kind of OnZoom event. We selected some part of the chart and would like to count the current size of the points float CountSizeOnZoom() { float currentArea = CountArea(...); // the area is counted for us. float currentSize = initialSize * initialArea / currentArea; return currentSize; } And it works. But the rate of change is too fast. In other words, the points are getting really big too soon. So I would like the currentSize to be invertly proportional to currentArea, but with some scaling coefficient. So I created the second function: float CountSizeOnZoom() { float currentArea = CountArea(...); % the area is counted for us. // Lets assume we want the size of points to change ten times slower, than area of the chart changed. float currentSize = initialSize + 0.1f* initialSize * ((initialArea / currentArea) -1); return currentSize; } Lets do some calculations in mind. if currentArea is smaller than initialArea, initialArea/currentArea > 1 and then we add "something" small and postive to initialSize. Checked, it works. Lets check what happens if we would un-zoom. currentArea will be equal to initialArea, so we would have 0 at the right side (1-1), so new size should be equal to initialSize. Right? Yeah. So lets check it... and it doesn't work. My question is: where is the mistake? Or maybe you have any ideas how to count this scaled size depending on current area in some other way?
