  • Redirect parent of a page from a cfwindow

    Hi All, I have a page with cfwindow that require the user to be logged in to view the content on the page. The problem at the moment is if the user logs into the site, then does nothing and the session times out, I have no way that I can think of to redirect the parent of the window to the login screen when the user opens it. So far I have tried using cflocation but that has no way of specifying the container that should be redirected (i.e. the page in the window is being redirected but not the windows parent). I have also thought about using a hidden input with a value based on the session which is then check with Body onLoad event but currently this doesnt work with how the pages have been setup. The last option I have is to check the session variable on loading the window and then closing it if the user is not logged in, which will cause the parent to refresh and redirect to login anyway. However I cant find a way to close a cfwindow without using javascript. Thanks for any help you can give.

    Hi All, I am working on some Plesk integration using the XML API and I am trying to figure out how to parse the XML response that I get back. Most of the data is fine, but the Limits and Permissions are setout differently. Essentially they are set out like so: <data> <limits> <limit> <name>foo</name> <value>bar</value> </limit> <limit> <name>foo2</name> <value>bar2</value> </limit> </limits> </data> How do I extract 'bar' from the xml given that I know I want the value of 'foo', but not the value of 'foo2'?

  • VS 2010 Class Diagram Error "The type cannot be edited..."

    A few of the classes on a VS 2010 class diagram are displayed with a red title. The Class Details window shows all of the methods, properties, fields and correctly shows no events. However, there's an entry under each of methods, properties, fields and events that states where the name should be: "The type cannot be edited because the source code file contains an error." However, the source file builds with no errors or warnings. Anyone seen this? Any idea how to fix it?

  • Cocos2d shake/accelerometer issue.

    So I a little backstory. I wanted to implement a particle effect and sound effect that both last about 3 sec or so when the user shakes their iDevice. But first issue arrived when the build in UIEvent for shakes refused to work. So I took the advice of a few Cocos veterans to just use some script to get "violent" accelerometer inputs as shakes. Worked great until now. The problem is that if you keep shaking it just stacks the particle and sounds over and over. Now this wouldn't be that big of a deal except it happens even if you are careful to try and not do so. So what I am hoping to do is disable the accelerometer when the particle effect/sound effect start and then reenable it as soon as they finish. Now I don't know if I should do this by schedule, NStimer, or some other function.     Hi All I am learning Java through BlueJ I would like to add a removeLot method to the Auction Class in BlueJ Chpt 4. This involves also returning the lot with the given number or null if there is no such lot. If you enter , say 5 lots and then use the remove method, this codes removes whichever lot you specify. However if you enter a new lot after using the removeLot method - an internal error message comes up regarding lotnumbering . Any ideas?   • Simple File-based Record Storage with Fast Text Searching for Compact Framework and Silverlight

    I have a single table with lots of records ( 100k) that I need to be able to index and search on several text fields. The easiest searches will have the first part of the string specified (eg, LIKE 'ABC%' in SQL). The tougher searches will need to search for any substring within the text fields (eg, LIKE '%ABC%' in SQL). I need to run on the Compact Framework. SQL Compact is a memory hog and overkill for my one table. Besides, I'd like to be able to run on Silverlight 4 eventually. The file and indexes can be generated on the full .NET Framework and I only need read capability on the Compact Framework. My records are not especially large and can be expressed in fix length format. I'm looking for some existing code or libraries to avoid having to write a file-based BTree implementation from scratch.

  • jQuery XML loading and then innerfade effect

    Hello, I think I can explain myself without code, so for brevity's sake here we go: I am using jquery to pull data from an xml and put it into a ul on the page with each xml entry as a li. This is working great! However, what I am trying to do afterwards is use the innerfade plugin to make a simple animation between each of the li's. It's not working though, as it is still just loading the static list with each item visible (whereas if innerfade was working it would only display the first....then fade into the second, etc) It's not an innerfade problem however, because if I add the list in manually to the page (not injecting it with jquery) then the innerfade works fine. I'm relatively new to DOM scripting, so I think I am missing something here. I'm not quite sure how jQuery sequences everything, and I'm having trouble phrasing my question in a search engine friendly manner so here I am. Is it possible to have jquery pull the data from xml, then inject it into the page, then have innerfade work it's magic?   • Hide anchors using jQuery

    I've created a dynamic page that, depending on the view type, will sometimes utilize the anchor tags and other times not. Essentially, I want to be able to control if on click the page jumps to the anchor. Is it possible to hide anchor tags using jQUery, so they are essentially removed? I need to be able to re-enable the anchors when necessary, and always show the current anchor in the browser's address bar. It seems to work in FireFox, but not in Internet Explorer.     I need to set up access to media files with the following structure: A media folder is designated as belonging to a specific member group. Then, a sub-folder below that needs to be available to a subset of members from the parent's member group. Any thoughts on how this can best be accomplished? I'll render the actual file download links with a user control, but how should I set up this access control on the back end? I need a member-group picker and a multiple member picker. Do these exist anywhere?

Now I want to redirect my subdirectory to that rails app. http[s]://domain.com/redmine to 127.0.0.1:12001 The current rules apply REQUEST_URI to the above rails path, but I need to strip "/redmine" from the front of REQUEST_URI... Any ideas?

    I'm using Django with google app engine. I'm using the google furnished django app engine helper project. I'm attempting to create a Django modelformset like this: #MyModel inherits from BaseModel MyFormSet = modelformset_factory(models.MyModel) However, it's failing with this error: 'ModelOptions' object has no attribute 'fields' Apparently modelformset_factory() is expecting MyModel to implement a 'fields' accessor. Anybody successfully used a modelformset with GAE datastore? Or is this a fundamental incompatibility between Django and GAE?

  • How do I maintain scroll position in MVC?

    Im working on a project in MVC and have enjoyed learning about it. There are a few growing pains but once you figure them out it's not bad. One thing that is really simple in the WebForms world is maintaining the scroll position on a page. All you do is set the MaintainScrollPositionOnPostback property to true. However, in MVC, Im not using postbacks so this will not work for me. What is the standard way of handling this? Edit: Ajax is acceptable, but I was also wondering how you would do it without AJAX.

    I'm working with shape files in GeoDjango. Right now I'm trying to write a test for code that loads in a shape file and saves it to a database. The shape file currently has a feature count of 64,118. I'd like to reduce this to a handful so the test can quickly load it and confirm everything is right. Since shape files aren't in a text format, is there a free application or library I can use to pluck out a handful of features and save them to a new file? I should mention I don't have a license nor access to any of the ESRI product line.

  • Is there a standard for storing normalized phone numbers in a database?

    What is a good data structure for storing phone numbers in database fields? I'm looking for something that is flexible enough to handle international numbers, and also something that allows the various parts of the number to be queried efficiently. [Edit] Just to clarify the use case here: I currently store numbers in a single varchar field, and I leave them just as the customer entered them. Then, when the number is needed by code, I normalize it. The problem is that if I want to query a few million rows to find matching phone numbers, it involves a function, like where dbo.f_normalizenum(num1) = dbo.f_normalizenum(num2) which is terribly inefficient. Also queries that are looking for things like the area code become extremely tricky when it's just a single varchar field. [Edit] People have made lots of good suggestions here, thanks! As an update, here is what I'm doing now: I still store numbers exactly as they were entered, in a varchar field, but instead of normalizing things at query time, I have a trigger that does all that work as records are inserted or updated. So I have ints or bigints for any parts that I need to query, and those fields are indexed to make queries run faster.

    I am trying to call ssh-keygen using a variable through bash as an input instead of a file to get a fingerprint of a public key. This method does not work as it says the key file is invalid (it's correct for sure) echo $pubkey | ssh-keygen -lf /dev/stdin This does work ssh-keygen -lf /dev/stdin < alpha.pub This does not work because I get an ambiguous redirect ssh-keygen -lf /dev/stdin < $(echo $pubkey) I would appreciate some insight as to how to get ssh-keygen to read from a variable with a public key and if possible, an explanation as to why the redirects aren't doing what I think they should be doing. I searched online but many of the redirect tutorials didn't seem to answer my questions.

    Are there any services similar to codepad that will allow you to test Perl constructs on old versions of perl? Ideally, a system where you could enter an expression and it will tell you the oldest version of perl that it will work with. Of course it's possible to use CPANTS for this, but that seems like an abuse of the service (if only for making the BackPan bigger). And it could take several days/weeks to get decent test coverage on old versions.

    Now that ICann is allowing non-latin-character domain names, should I be concerned about e-mail validation? Currently, my sites are using php functions to ensure some alpha-numeric character set in each segment of an email address. Will these other character sets, such as Cyrillic, Arabic, and Chinese, pass validation? Are there recommended php functions to utilize for this?
