    I am searching for a plugin or any other way for n++ to close the last open tag on demand (i.e. assigned to a shortcut key), not automatically. Sadly all I could find is tag auto-closing (in TextFX and XMLtools), where a tag closure is added when the user types the '' (like in <div>). Any suggestions?

  • Refinery CMS (Rails): Creating a plugin or plugins with multiple models and relationships

    My goal is to create a way for an admin to create two models in the Refinery admin: Campaigns and Videos I would like to have it setup so that a Campaign has many Videos and that each Video belongs to a Campaign. Both Videos and Campaigns will have a title, description, and a preview image. I'm not certain of the best way to go about this. Is it possible to setup two plugins and form a relationship between the two? Or, should I create one plugin with both models. If someone could point me in the right direction or a good example of a solution to a similar problem, I would be grateful. Thank you for looking!

  • Need Help with Jquery TableSorter Pager plugin.

    Hi I am using the tablesorter plugin: http://tablesorter.com/docs/ with jquery 1.4.2 Now my problem is this. The user can dynamically add rows to the table. But this seems to mess up the paging. Like first it gets added to the first "page" of rows but if you would go to the second page and you go back to the first page. You newly record is gone. I don't know where it goes but it is just gone. I tried to do this $('#pagerid').unbind('click'); $('#tbl tbody ').append(response.HtmlRow); $('#tbl').trigger('update'); So I tried to unbind the pager click method and do a trigger update but that does not seem to work. I then tried to add this line after the above 3 lines. $('#tbl').tablesorterPager({ container: $('#pagerid') }); but it seems to do nothing too. http://tablesorter.com/docs/example-pager.html

  • jQuery — Nested Sortables Plugin — Disabling sortability between parents

    I've got a question that I think is simple but I've not been able to figure it out. This is in regard to this plugin: http://mjsarfatti.com/sandbox/nestedSortable/ Essentially, I want to disable the ability to sort children outside of their parents. So, I've got this: CATEGORY 1 ITEM 1.1 ITEM 1.2 ITEM 1.3 CATEGORY 2 ITEM 2.1 ITEM 2.2 ITEM 2.3 So, I'd like to provide the ability for users to sort the children within their category, and the ability to sort the categories themselves. But I want to disable the ability to move a child to another parent. (e.g. ITEM 1.1 cannot be moved to CATEGORY 2). And also I would like to disable the abilty to nest any parents in any children. I tried setting it so that the 'nestedSortable' function is called for every new OL but that simple disables sorting for everything entirely. Thanks for any help.

On FF and Safari I can see the "browse" button. Any ideas? It turns out my flash version was different from the current version. Now the plug-in is working just fine.

  • Convert javascript ticks to date in Flot jQuery-plugin issue

    I have a dynamic Flot graph with dates on the x-axis and numbers on the y-axis. To get the Flot-plugin to read the date object correctly, I had to convert the dates to ticks (with getTime()). My problem is that I can't revers the ticks back to a normal date in my tooltip hover on the graph. I've tried to revers it with this: dateTimeObject = new Date((jsTicks - 621355968000000000) / 10000); All I get, no matter what jsTicks is, is "Jan 02 0001 hh:mm:ss (almost current time)" What am I doing wrong?

    Hi, I'm using the Boxy jQuery plugin to open dialog windows and populating it through ajax. http://onehackoranother.com/projects/jquery/boxy/ Here's my code so far: $("a.create").click(function (e) { url = $(e.target).attr('href'); Boxy.load(url, {title:'Test'}); }); This opens up a dialog alright. However, if I click the link again, another dialog will open. How can I make it such that the previously opened Boxy dialog will come into focus? I only want one instance of this dialog. I tried assigning a variable to var ele = Boxy.load(); but the variable ele returns undefined... Alas, I can't make out much from the limited Boxy documentation available. Enabling the option modal: true would prevent the user from clicking on the link multiple times, but I don't want the overlay to show. Thanks for any light you can shed on this. -Lyon

    I've just been playing with Scala, and installed the Eclipse plugin as described at http://www.scala-lang.org/node/94, but after entering the "Hello World" test example and setting up the run configuration as described, I get the following error Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: main For reference the code is package hello object HelloWorld extends Application { println("Hello World!") } I've tinkered a bit with the obvious solutions (adding a main method, adding a singleton object with a main method) but I'm clearly doing something wrong. Can anyone get their test example to work, or point out what I am doing wrong?

    Hi, I'm trying to poll a script every few seconds. The script will return a timestamp, and if this timestamp is different from the previous (the first time is always true since it's comparing with nothing), then do something. Thing is PeriodicalUpdater seems to work fine for me. But I read that JSON.parse does not work in IE<8. I'm therefore hoping there's another alternative that would support more browsers out there? Is there another plugin that can do ajax polling? Thanks!

    I have a message that I want to fadeIn when a form is successfully send. I'm using the jQuery form plugin and the code: $(document).ready(function() { var options = { target: '#output', beforeSubmit: validate, resetForm: true }; $('#holdform').ajaxForm(options); }); The validate function works perfectly so i added this code before it returns true: (...) $('#output').fadeIn('slow'); return true; } This should fadeIn the div I have underneath the form, styled as display: none;. But what happens is that the div fades in and then disappears. Does anyone have an explanation and possibly a solution to fix it? Thank you in advance!     Hi, I'd like to verify a user's email address by sending them a verify-email-message. Do you know of a good Rails plugin that they've used or seen? Since I didn't see anything good via Google, at this point, my thought is: Add a verified boolean field to the user model. Default false. After user is added (unverified), combine email with a salt (a secret), and create the sha1 hash of the email/salt combo. The result is the verification. Send a welcoming / verification email to the user. Email includes a url that has the email address and verification as GET args to a verify action on my server. The verify action recomputes the verification using the supplied email and checks that the new verification matches the one in the url. If it does, then the User rec for the email is marked 'verified' Also will provide action to re-send the verification email. Any comments on the above? Thanks, Larry

    I'm trying to install a couple of different plugins for my rails 3 app. I cd to '/vendor/plugins/', then type git clone the_git_src_url. I see the files in the /vendor/plugins/ directory. However when I try to use any of the tags provided by the plugin I get uninitialized constant ContentsController::HTMLToTextileParser PriceTag and html2textile are the two plugins I'm trying to use. This is what triggers the error above: <%= PriceTag.html_to_textile(@content.desc) %> I'm working in development, I've tried to restart the server. Is there something I'm missing?

    Using the jQuery Star Rating plugin everything works well until I select a star rating from the rating's callback handler. Simple example: $('.rating').rating({ ... callback: function(value){ $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: ... data: {rating: value}, success: function(data){ $('.rating').rating('select', 1); } }); } }); I'm guessing this infinite loop occurs because the callback is fired after a manual 'select' as well. Once a user submits their rating I'd like to 'select' the average rating across all users (this value is in data returned to the success handler). How can I do this without triggering an infinite loop?

    I've just installed this plugin, created the migrations, added everything I needed to make it work(I didn't install ImageMagick yet). The problem is when I get the upload control parameter to save it in my controller, I get something like this: #<File:C:\Users\Brian\AppData\Local\Temp\RackMultipart.2560.6677> instead of a simple string, like C:\Users\Brian\AppData\Local\Temp\RackMultipart.2560.6677 And if I try to read it I get the following exception: TypeError backtrace must be Array of String What am I doing wrong? How do I read it or simply get rid of the # and < symbols?

I looked at this writeup on beat detection over at GameDev and have had some success with it (I'm not doing beat detection per se, but it's relevant). But ultimately I'm looking for a stupid-as-possible, quick-and-dirty approach for demo purposes.     Hello, I'm new to Ruby/Redmine/Redcloth but I'm trying to achieve the following: The default way to build a link in Textile is "foo":http://bar. However, 90% of the day I use Atlassian products, which use [foo|http://bar] as link markup. To keep everything a bit uniform I'd like to implement this in Redmine via a plugin. However, it appears that you can't change the macro syntax so instead I'll have to look into extending RedCloth to accept this form of inserting links. Does anyone know how I can achieve this?   • Ruby on Rails Foreigner plugin not working for SQL Server

    Well, now that I've finally got my stupid ODBC stuff configured, I took a schema.rb file that I dumped from a Postgres database and did a db:schema:load on it in a Rails project configured for SQL Server. Well, it sets up all the schema in the SQL Server database except for a minor detail: No foreign keys are created. The rake command doesn't show any errors and does say it is adding foreign keys. But they don't actually get added. This is the last bit from the command: -- add_foreign_key("workhistoryform", "form", {:name=>"workhistoryform_form_rid_fkey", :column=>"form_rid", :primary_key=>"form_rid"}) -> 0.0002s -- initialize_schema_migrations_table() -> 0.0092s -- assume_migrated_upto_version(0) -> 0.0942s [earlz@earlzarch avp_msql_migrations]$ So what is the problem? Does the Foreigner plugin not work in SQL Server? If it didn't I'd expect to see an error or something...
