I am wondering if I'd be able to use intents to retrieve a list of all the sub-applications which match some discovery intent. The main application currently needs to know what Intents to use to START these sub-applications, but is there a way to use intents to see if other Activities on the device match a set of intent-filters?

    Hi All, I've been looking but can't find the the documentation: Is there a way to have a page render a response without the wrapping HTML elements and just print whatever is provided in the body of the tml or alternatively whatever is set in MarkupWriter.write during @BeginRender? I need a page that does some server side processing and returns pure javascript for an external application to request.   • Cognos 8.3: Can I use parameters in conditional style expressions?

    Hi, I have Start Date and End date parameters that work fine as filters on a query, as follows: [EMR Reporting].[Appointments].[Appointment Date] between ?Start Date? and ?End Date? But when I attempt to apply conditional styles to a field based on ?Start Date?, the report blows up. Should I be able to use parameter values in conditional style expressions, or is this not supported for some reason? Thanks!

    when try to execute the servlet containing following code Runtime rt = Runtime.getRuntime(); Process p = rt.exec("notepad.exe"); It doesn't launch the application in the environment windows server 2003 and Tomcat 5 but a process is being created as notepad.exe in the windows task manager. In windows xp and tomcat 6 environment launches the notepad i need to work on the windows server 2003 and tomcat 5 Thanks in advance

I've solved it this way: Server server = new Server( PORT ); server.setGracefulShutdown( 3000 ); server.setStopAtShutdown(true); ... server.start(); if( server.getThreadPool() instanceof QueuedThreadPool ){ ((QueuedThreadPool) server.getThreadPool()).setMaxIdleTimeMs( 2000 ); } setMaxIdleTimeMs() needs to be called after the start(), becase the threadPool is created in start(). However, the threads are already created and waiting, so it only applies after all threads are used at least once. I don't know what else to do except some awfulness like interrupting all threads or System.exit(). Any ideas? Is there a good way? Thanks, Ondra

    Hi, I'm using org.springframework.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet and org.springframework.ws.transport.http.MessageDispatcherServlet In the same app but each is loading own application contexts, I need to load all beans in a single application context. The application consists of typical layers webappdao etc What I have tried is to use one single spring-root-context.xml by setting it in the contextConfigLocation. But didn't help, this has been an issue for me for a long time an I would appreciate any help with this. Any online references would be a great help. Regards Ramo

    Hi All, I want an Open File Dialog with *.class ,*.jar filters. I want that *.jar files will be treated as folders (pressing OK or double-click should display the jar file content [ *.class] ). This capability is very similar to the TotalCommander archive plugin that let you browse inside archive files in-place (without the need to extract them, etc...) Any ideas how it could be done?     What debugging tools are available for directshow filters? Presently, I have a project that compiles and registers a video source filter that I then setup a graph in GraphEdit. I am using c++ in visual studio 2008. Is it possible to get a debugger attached to the filter in any way where I could set break points, inspect variables, etc? Barring that is there a way to log diagnostic information somewhere that I can view in real time?
