  • Flash, getURL works from time to time

    I'm not a flasher, but i did a menu for site on flash i have about 10 buttons working like hyperlink using getURL. So, problem is: it works perfectly on my netbook (Win XP - Mozilla/Chrome/IE - last flash player) it works perfectly on my wife's laptop (Vista - Mozilla/chrome/IE - last flash player) But it does not work at all on my employer's computers (XP/Vista - Mozilla/Chrome - last flash player) I'm using swfobject (i'm not sure what version is, but i think it's 2.x) Do you have any ideas?

    Since I have Django 1.1x on my Debian setup - how can I use virtualenv or similar and not have it mess up my system's default django version which in turn would break all my sites? Detailed instructions or a great tutorial link would very much be appreciated - please don't offer vague advice since I'm still a noob. Currently I store all my django projects in ~/django-sites and I am using Apache2 + mod_wsgi to deploy.

I've got everything up and running and there are no issues when I run my site using the command line python manage.py runserver But this same code refuses to run when I try and run it through Apache.     Hi I'm developing on 32bit windows and am using appassembler to create a java service wrapper assembly, and it works ok. But I need to also create a 64bit assembly for deployment to a dev server. In the following config I have substituted the 32bit platform with the 64bit, see the <includes> section. But it no longer places the wrapper jar and dll in the lib folder. If I omit the includes completely, I get linux, solaris, Mac OSX and Win32 libraries, but no win64.   • FireBird .net provider 64bit

    I'm trying to get a firebird web application (IIS6 64 bit) to run. However I'm getting bad image format (bit difference incompatability) issues. Has anyone got any advice to get it running. Details AnyCPU application references the .net firebird driver (through nhibernate) which uses a native 64bit dll. There is a native 32bit dll which I use for local development and it works fine. (I havn't got the 32 version working on the 64 bit server either).

  • Linux cc compliation of library in directory within project?

    My directory structure looks like the following: -xmllib -libxml++-1.0.a -main.cc ..and I issue the command: cc -lstdc++ -L./xmllib -llibxml++-1.0.a main.cc But then it tells me that it can't find the binary for the library...even though I issued the command from the root directory. /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -llibxml++-1.0.a main.cc collect2: ld returned 1 exit status Is there any reason why cc can't find the binary library? I'm using cc version 2.96 (yes, it's old).

    I'd set up a site a while back using Django-CMS and it was working fine. However, after upgrading to the latest version of both Django and Django-CMS, it doesn't work anymore...when I try to run the development server, I get this message: "Signal recerivers must accept keyword arguments (**kwargs)." AssertionError: Signal receivers must accept keyword arguments (**kwargs). What could be the problem here? I've tried running the sample app that comes with the CMS and it works just fine.

  • JVM throws OutOfMemory during gc though there are plenty memory left...

    I have my java application configured to use 5G memory. I got an OutOfMemory out of blue. I inspected the gc log and found plenty of memory left: young generation occupies 4% allocated space, tenure generation occupancy is 5% and perm generation is 43%. I am puzzled why JVM throws an OutOfMemory at the gc time. Does anyone know why this is happening? Your help is greatly appreciated.     On https://www2.eiffel.com/download/download_info.aspx?id=eiffelstudio&info=false&mirrors=eiffelstudio you can download the IDE "eiffelstudio". They have GPL as their license but they also specify that "The GPL version is for the purpose of developing open-source software only! If you want to evaluate EiffelStudio for commercial software development, please download our Enterprise Evaluation Edition." However as far as i know this is directly against the gpl. Can they really specify such restrictions while adhering to the GPL?

  • qooxdoo json/request transport method

    Hi all, I try to send a request to my server via GET, but qooxdoo sends request as OPTIONS. Is any way to change this behaviour? I try to use qx.data.store.Json (url) and qx.io.remote.Request (url, "GET", type) but result is same in both cases. My version of qooxdoo is 1.0.1, browsers are FF 3.5.6 and Chromium 5.0.361.

  • How to handle float values in a plist

    I'm reading in a plist from a web server, generated with some php. When I read that into an NSArray in my iphone app, and then spit the NSArray out with NSLog to check it out, I see that the float values are treated as strings. I would like the "distance" values to be treated as numeric and not strings. This plist is displayed in a table view where it can be sorted by distance, but the problem is is distance is sorted as a string, so I get some funny sorting results. Can I convert the distance values to float from string in the NSArray? Or maybe theres a simpler solution like tweaking the plist definition, or maybe something in the NSMutableURLRequest code? My plist looks like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <array> <dict> <key>name</key> <string>Pizza Joint</string> <key>distance</key> <string>2.1</string> </dict> <dict> <key>name</key> <string>Burger Kang</string> <key>distance</key> <string>5</string> </dict> </array> </plist> After reading it into an NSArray, it looks like this per NSLog: result: ( { distance = "2.1"; name = "Pizza Joint"; }, { distance = 5; name = "Burger Kang"; } ) Here is the Objective-C code that retrieves the plist: // Set up url request // postData and postLength are left out, but I can post in this question if needed.
