    I am planning for an application of time-table generation. I wanted the data such as standardname, teachername, standard wise subjects and also relate the corresponding teacher with the subject and standard. I had think like, StandardMaster(stdid,stdname) TeacherMaster(teacherid,teachername) SubjectMaster(subid,subname,stdid) What more I need? Any corrections needed in these three tables?

  • Why doesn't SQL LIKE work in Microsoft Access?

    I want to my make a search-statement and query things like this select * from table where col like '%vkvk%' But with trial and error I've come to the conclusion that access doesn't work with LIKE or wildcard operators. Does anybody have some other solutions because I ain't so in to access actually, so I really don't know.

    I'd like to be able to just write a class and get a table generated in my DB along with all the properties of that class. In EJB it's possible to let the container handle the data and "sync" with the DB. I'd like something like this in VS2008 with C# .NET and ASP.NET. Is there anything remotely like this on the market?

    I am trying to log into my table called acounts using MySQLdb in Python, but it does not work for me. I keep getting my message "Not Logged In". Here's what I have so far: SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT `user_id`) FROM `comments` WHERE `created_at` BETWEEN DATE_SUB(NOW(), INTERVAL 7 DAY) AND NOW() This would give the number of users that have commented, but it would not take into consideration whether these comments are first for these users.
