    I have created a JDialog to be opened when I click on the edit button of my JFrame, it is being opened properly and does'nt have any issue, but when I took this code on the windows ce 5.0 device this dialog is being opened twice. hat is i am clicking only once on the edit button but the dialog is appearing twice, I want there should be only one dialog appear on edit button click.

  • How to stop DataGridView from polluting my Designer file with column controlls?

    I'm sure you know the problem, as soon as a BindingSource is connected to a DataGridView the DataGridView generates columns for each Property found in the Type of the BindingSource's DataSource and adds that crap to the Form.Designer.cs file. We only use run time generated columns, the clutter in the designer file is just waste of code, so how can we stop this "feature" of the DataGridView in WinForms?

  • In .NET, How do I separate xml from compiled resource file?

    We have a customer that would like to modify application user messages that we store in .resx files. I'm thinking this can't be done since the xml file behind the .resx is embedded in a compiled dll. Am I correct? Or, is there a way keep the xml outside of the compiled dll? I realize this can easily be done by other means but I like the ease of the resx file--the classes/properties are created for you.

    I'm making an app that sends a string to a server over a socket and then reads the output after the server has processed that data.   • Minimized window position in WPF

    I am trying to save the position of a custom dialog to the users registry, so that when they reload the same dialog, it appears in the same place they moved or resized it to previously. I am saving the windows X position Y position Width and Height. It all works fine except for when the dialog is minimized. If the dialog is minimized and the user right clicks the dialogs representation on the taskbar (windows 7) they can click "close this window". Strangely, the number -32030 gets saved in the registry as the X and Y positions but the width and height get saved correctly. Any idea where this number comes from and what to do in this situation thx

  • Swing: How do I run a job from AWT thread, but after a window was layed out?

    My complete GUI runs inside the AWT thread, because I start the main window using SwingUtilities.invokeAndWait(...). Now I have a JDialog which has just to display a JLabel, which indicates that a certain job is in progress, and close that dialog after the job was finished. The problem is: the label is not displayed. That job seems to be started before JDialog was fully layed-out. When I just let the dialog open without waiting for a job and closing, the label is displayed. The last thing the dialog does in its ctor is setVisible(true). Things such as revalidate(), repaint(), ... don't help either. Even when I start a thread for the monitored job, and wait for it using someThread.join() it doesn't help, because the current thread (which is the AWT thread) is blocked by join, I guess. Replacing JDialog with JFrame doesn't help either. So, is the concept wrong in general? Or can I manage it to do certain job after it is ensured that a JDialog (or JFrame) is fully layed-out?   • Facebook email Permission, oath2, doesnt work?

    since the new Auth Dialog from Facebook (for my App & homepage), I cannot get the dialog to show that my homepage/app needs the users email when connection to my homepage/app. In the Auth-section of my app I've added "email" to the User & Friend Permissions. Also I've added it to the referal when someone clicks the "Login with facebook"-button. When someone clicks the Facebook-button, he/she redirects to a page which has the PHP-code with Facebook SDK PHP (latest). Here's how I generate the send-to-url for the dialog: $login_url = $facebook-getLoginUrl(array('req_perms' = 'email,publish_stream')); header("Location: ".$login_url); But when the Dialog pops up, the only permission request it does is "basic information". I need to request the Email. Am I stupid or is it a bug somehow? I've also recreated the App.

In the Manage Workspaces dialog box, click Add. 3. Type a descriptive name in the Name box, enter a comment describing the new workspace in the Comment box, and provide alternative Owner and Computer name values, as necessary. 4. Under Working Folders, in the Source Control Folder box, click the text box and then the ellipsis (…). 5. In the Browse for Folder dialog box, select a server folder, and then click OK. 6. Under Working Folders, in the Local Folder box, click the text box, and then click the ellipsis (…). 7. In the Browse for Folder dialog box, select a folder on your computer, and then click OK. 8. In the Add Workspace dialog box, click OK to create the workspace. 9. In the Manage Workspaces dialog box, click Close. when I click OK button it should get all the folder from TFS to my Local machine? but its not doing that after clcking ok and Close nothing is happening and my local floder does not contain this files tooo?
