• Cannot get admob working: configChanges error

  I know there are some topics about it, but the reason I start this one is I appear not to be able to solve it with solutions given. I want to add admob to my project. I downloaded GoogleAdMobAdsSdk-6.2.1 and added it to my project. When I startup it says You must have AdActivity declared in AndroidManifest with configChanges. So solution found, set it to: android:configChanges="keyboard|keyboardHidden|orientation|screenLayout|uiMode|screenSize|smallestScreenSize" and <uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="3" android:targetSdkVersion="15" /> Clean it, try again. But now I get an error saying following although my targetSdkVersion is set to be min 12, I really don't know why I am still getting this error: String types not allowed (at 'configChanges' with value 'keyboard|keyboardHidden|orientation| screenLayout|uiMode|screenSize|smallestScreenSize') Any ideas on this? There might be another setting wrong which I looked over?

• Minimum OS version number, iPhone app

  Hi all I've built an iPhone app which is live in the app-store. When originally submitting the app it showed up in App Store as requiring iPhone OS 3.1.3. When later updating the app I made sure my settings in Xcode for the target for the app store build had the Base SDK version set to 3.1.3 and the Deployment Target version set to 3.0, however it still shows up in app store as requiring 3.1.3. From what I've understood the Deployment Target version is the one setting the requirement in app store? Or is there any information concerning this that I should have updated in iTunes Connect when submitting the updated app? Thanks, Michael

  Hi all, What's the UNC path to a folder on my local computer, and how can I access it? I have tried: 1. Security for the folder -- set to Everyone Full Control (for now!) 2. Sharing permissions -- set to Everyone Full Control (for now!) I can see the folder in \, but can't go in ( is not accessible.) Error message: "You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access pernmissions. The network location cannot be reached. For information about network troubleshooting, see Windows Help." My computer is not connected to a network.

  I want to bind a custom property of a windows form to a second property, so when I update the former the latter gets the same value. It doesn't work - it caches for 60 seconds, but only one cached copy is created regardless of what I put in the CacheString property. Anyone any ideas what i'm doing wrong? - After 4 hours of this I have no hair or nails left - please save my monitor from the brick.

  I had the following situation: main application has app.xaml, which sets the style for TextBox controls a custom control is implemented in a separate DLL, and uses several TextBox controls The main application's TextBox style is applied to the custom control's TextBox controls. Cool! My problem comes in because I need to use a class derived from TextBox in the custom control. Now the main app's TextBox style is no longer applied. Can the custom control DLL have something like "app.xaml" where I can set the style for all my derived TextBox controls? Or can the main application somehow set the style for all TextBox-derived classes? Thanks!

• Requested URL is changing

  Hi, I have a website, at localhost:82 when I type this into IE, it comes up with a 404 error and the requested URL is localhost:80/wwwroot, which is not at all what I requested. There is no URL rewrite set up. I have tried to set up a tracing rule to see what is happening, however, the instructions at http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/266/troubleshooting-failed-requests-using-tracing-in-iis-7/ say to look for "Fail Request Tracing" link, but it doesn't exist in my IIS 7.0 even under administrator. Not sure where to look or why this is changing my requested URL. Any help would be appreciated.

• Reading into directory, unix shell script

  I am trying to analyze the files/directories inside of a directory using a shell script, for example if the file is readable, if it is a file, if it is a directory, etc. My script is set up to take a directory as input. so I would type 'file.sh directoryname'. However, when I create a for loop to analyze the files, it analyzes the files in my current working directory rather than the specified directory name. This is my broken code: file=$1 set mypath = $file for file in $mypath * do if [ -d $file ] dirCount=`expr $dirCount + 1` fi done Why does this read the working directory instead of the specified directory? I know how to get the properties from a single instance of People but can't for the life of me figure out how to get it from PeopleList. • Easiest way to get an NSDate representation of "the next 7am that will occur" in Cocoa?

  I figure I can achieve what I want by using NSCalendar and NSDateComponents, but that would run something like the following: Get "now" Create an NSDateComponents from "now". If "now" is pre-7am, then use today's date. If "now" is post-7am, use tomorrow's date. If today is the last day of the month, increase month, set day to 1. If it was December, increase year by 1 also. Set hour, minute, second. Create a new NSDate. It all seems very long-winded, but that appears to be what other answers on here suggest, and the documentation doesn't offer any clues. I'm going back and forth between all the date and calendar classes I can find. Is there a simple way to ask for the "next occurring 7am" ? Thanks.

All works so far, I can read customers without any problem. When I now e.g. change the name of the CUSTOMER in the form (which does NOT show the orders), after saving the name is updated, but all relations in the ORDERS table are set to NULL (the customer_id for the items is set to NULL. How can I keep the relationship working? THX

• Help submitting an asp.net form with jquery

  I'm trying to post the entire asp.net form to a certain url. I have tried: $.post("http://www.someaddress.com", $("form").serialize()); I have also tried: $.ajax({ type:"POST", url:"http://www.someaddress.com", data: $('form').serialize(), success: function(){ alert('yay'); } }); In both cases the submit is fine but no data is passed along with it. When i test the form.serialize() in firebug console, this shows my form serialized just fine. When i view the submit in fiddler, i can see that the data part is not set. Maybe im not understanding the data part, but every single tutorial shows this as the way to go - serialize the form and set that as data. What must i do to get my serialized form as the data in my request? What am i missing? Also - why does the NET tab in firebug show all these requests as method OPTIONS?

  Hello, I have a form that contains 3 blocks (block a, b, c). There is a master-detail relationship between b (detail) and c (master). Data-flow: you enter an ID in block a, which in turn populates block c and corresponding details in block b. Control goes immediately to block c. Objective: I need to be able to update details of block b. Issue: I cannot navigate to block b. Keep in Mind: --In the Property Palette Keyboard Navigable is set to "Yes" --Insert Allowed and Update Allowed are set to "Yes." If someone could respond ASAP I would really appreciate it. • Access Validation Rule Violations on Append Query

  I'm recieving the following error on trying to run an append query in access. Microsoft Office Access set .... and it didnt't add... 779280 records(s) due to validation rule violations. If I choose to run the query anyways, nothing actually happens. To give some context, I'm simply trying to copy a populated field, consisting of values similar to "16-2009-02, 34-2010-02, et cetera" to another currently unpopulated field. The fields themselves have no set validation rules, and both have the standard text field options. I'm hoping to be able to simply remove those hyphens, and fix the issue. But I guess that's what I'm not sure about, are those hyphens actually a problem? Running SP3 w/ Access 2003. Thanks in advance!

Even though in all my NIB files they are set to landscape.

  Hi all, Is there any sql*plus command to remove \r \n and\t from the result set that's going out to the spool file? That is, "trim" every record? We've used set trim on in the past, but it doesn't seem to bue what we need right now. I'm trying to avoid calling oracle's translate, chr functions in the sql query. • Help debugging Apache, Passenger and Rails problem

  We have an environment running that uses Apache, Passenger and rails. The system is handling most request normally, yet certain requests do not make it to the rails application. For instance, a request to /books is successful, but /books/1 hits apache and passenger, but does not even make it to rails. We set the apache log level to debug and the passenger log level to 3 so that we could monitor all incoming requests. We could see each request coming through and even the /books/1 request is being handled by passenger. But it never gets to rails. Is there any way to determine where the request goes between Passenger and rails or where debugging information might live? Has anyone ever seen any problems with passenger spawning or queuing? We have spawning set to conservative. Also, we have had some permission/ownership problems in the past, so I am not ruling this out yet. Thanks in advance

  Trying to run a cross-server update: UPDATE cmslive.CMSFintrac.dbo.lsipos SET PostHistorySequencenNmber = ( SELECT TransactionNumber FROM Transactions WHERE Transactions.TransactionDate = cmslive.CMSFintrac.dbo.lsipos.TransactionDate) Gives the error: Server: Msg 117, Level 15, State 2, Line 5 The number name 'cmslive.CMSFintrac.dbo.lsipos' contains more than the maximum number of prefixes. The maximum is 3. What gives? Note: Rearranging the query into a less readable join form: UPDATE cmslive.CMSFintrac.dbo.lsipos SET PostHistorySequenceNumber = B.TransactionNumber FROM cmslive.CMSFintrac.dbo.lsipos A INNER JOIN Transactions B ON A.TransactionDate = B.TransactionDate does not give an error.
