    Hello, This are my two functions, on single click it works fine, but on dblclick both functions execute, any idea?     So I am trying to figure out how to post on a website that uses a drop down menu which is holding the values like this (based on the page source): <td valign="top" align="right"><span class="emphasis">Select Item Option : </span></td> <td align="left"> <span class="notranslate"> <select name="ItemOption1"> <option value="">Select Item Option</option> <option value="321_cba">Item Option 1</option> <option value="123_abcd">Item Option 2</option> ... Now there are two of these drop down menus on top of each other. I want to be able to select an item from drop down menu 1 and drop down menu 2 and then submit the page. Now based on the code it submits the information using the following code: <td colspan="2" align="center"> <input type="submit" value="View Result" onclick="return check()"> </td> </tr> </table> <input type="hidden" name="ItemOption1" value=""> <input type="hidden" name="ItemOption2" value=""> I have no idea how to select the items in the drop down menu and then submit the page and capture the information on the resulting page into a text file. Can someone please help me with this?

  • How to resize & move css divisions at same time?

    I have a division in which i'll be having dynamic numbers of colorful blocks(that too divisions) at various instances. On clicking the box, i want them to expand & cover whole screen. the problem is, while boxes are expanding, they are expanding at there own position & not shifting in the screen.. I used: .elemented1 { width: 100%; height: 80%; -webkit-animation: elemen1 0.3s; border: 0px; } @-webkit-keyframes elemen1 { from { width: 49.6%; height: 39.6%; } to { width: 100%; height: 80%; } } This is working fine but i have to put blocks dynamically. I cant write animations for individual blocks as they will be of different sizes.

  • How to load a script without blocking the whole page on Google Chrome?

    I'm developing a website that uses an Ajax plugin to like/dislike/comments an item. But when there are multiple items on the same page, the page takes too long to be displayed. On google chrome for instance, for 10 items you have to wait something like 10 seconds before you can see anything. But in Firefox, and IE 8, the other elements of the page are displayed, and only the likes/dislikes take some time. But the advantage is that they are displayed as soon as they are loaded. So this is much better. So how come Google Chrome is less efficient than Firefox and IE? Is there a trick to display on Chrome the page like in Firefox?   • way to change value of h2 on div hover

    So basically making some concept logic for a project I am working on. Basically it's a portfolio and each box will be a picture and I want to be able to change the value of a h2 to some type of description. Right now it's just a black box so 'square1, square2, square3...etc' will work for now. I looked up some stuff on jquery and found this link from an SO answer. Basically what I need but he is only shifting through one piece of information instead of many in my case. Wondering how I can achieve that via jquery. I imagine I would need to make an array with all the descriptions I need, and (this is where I am lost) somehow attach the value of array to the square and then from there change text of h2 to the array value. Thanks for any help in advance here's what I have so far (not much just did some foundation work). Not sure if this matters but if there is no hover I want the h2 to say nothing.     In my regex expression, I was trying to match a password between 8 and 16 character, with at least 2 of each of the following: lowercase letters, capital letters, and digits. In my expression I have: ^((?=.*\d)(?=.*[a-z])(?=.*[A-Z])(?=.*\d)(?=.*[a-z])(?=.*[A-Z]).{8,16})$ But I don't understand why it wouldn't work like this: ^((?=\d)(?=[a-z])(?=[A-Z])(?=\d)(?=[a-z])(?=[A-Z]){8,16})$ Doesnt ".*" just meant "zero or more of any character"? So why would I need that if I'm just checking for specific conditions? And why did I need the period before the curly braces defining the limit of the password? And one more thing, I don't understand what it means to "not consume any of the string" in reference to "?=".

    Anyone know why the animation is rough (doesn't really animate) on this bit of jquery? $('.close').click(function() { $('.hidden-content').fadeOut('fast', function (){ $('.serv-button').fadeIn('fast'); }); }); Basically when you click on the close button a ".hidden-content" should fade out and the "serv-button"'s should fade in. But instead they just appear and do no fade.   • hide iframe scrollbars

I've tried so many codes, I've tried this too, I don't know if I just mess up but my mind is really all over the place trying to figure this out. I've tried overflow:hidden but that just disables the scrolling of the page. I'd still want the texts to scroll without showing the scroll bars.     I'm trying to implement a Facebook like toolbar on the bottom of the screen for a website I'm currently working on. Currently, I have it 100% of the width of the screen but I'd like to have it look almost exactly like Facebook's toolbar, centered, bottom justified on top, around 80% of the current screen's width.   • Possible to make jqGrid stretch to 100%?

    Is it possible to make it so that a jqGrid will have a width set to 100%? I understand that column widths must be an absolute pixel size, but I've yet to find anything for setting the width of the actual grid to a relative size. For instance, I want to set the width to 100%. Instead of 100% it seems to use an odd size of 450px. There is more horizontal room on the page, but with the columns width and such, it will make the container(of only the grid) horizontally scroll. Is there some way around this?
