    We have a windows application (C# .net) and we'll be giving installers to client. The requirement is that once the application has been installed , user should not be able to edit the system time/date . This is to make sure that the application generated dates/reports are not manipulated. My target OS is Win-XP What is the best way to do that ? Does OS provide any facility to do that ?     I'm going to have my website hosted soon on a VPS or dedicated server (with Windows 2008), so I'm trying to plan ahead. I wonder whether the built-in SMTP server that comes with IIS7 is reliable enough for a production server or should I look for an alternative? I heard good things about hmailserver and best of all it's free, do you have any experience with using the bulit-in SMTP on a high traffic website. Thanks a lot for any suggestions

    I currently have a game written using the Android canvas. It is completely 2D, and I draw bitmaps as sprites on the canvas, and it technically works, but I have a few features that I need to add that will require drawing many more bitmaps on the screen, and there will be a lot more movement. The app needs more power. What is the best way to go from this method of drawing Bitmaps on a canvas to using OpenGL so I can draw them faster?

    I have an aspx page with several user controls (ascx) as well as an asp:button for signing out. The click event of the button clears the session and does a response.redirect to the login page. However, before the click event is called, since the page posts back, all of the Page_Load events run for all of the controls. What is the best way to have the click event code run without unnecessary reloading of all user controls?

    So I'm making a script with ruby that must render frames at 24 frames per second, but I need to wait 1/24th of a second between sending the commands... how can I do that? sleep seems to only wait in increments of 1 second or more. update Well ya you can do sleep 0.1 if you want, but is this the best way to delay in a ruby script?

    Can anyone please tell me why this result is generation only one results? taking in mind that everything is set right and the three tables are populated correctly, i took out the group_concat and it worked but of course with a php undefined index error! SELECT `songs`.`song_name`, `songs`.`add_date`, `songs`.`song_id`, `songs`.`song_picture`, group_concat(DISTINCT artists.artist_name) as artist_name FROM (`songs`) JOIN `mtm_songs_artists` ON `songs`.`song_id` = `mtm_songs_artists`.`song_id` JOIN `artists` ON `artists`.`artist_id` = `mtm_songs_artists`.`artist_id` ORDER BY `songs`.`song_id` DESC LIMIT 10 so i'm guessing it's something related to group_concat. best regards, Rami
