    The scenario is i have a file and contains a string "the date and time is 2012-12-07 17:11:50" I had searched and found a command grep 'the date and time is' 2012-12-07.txt | cut -d\ -f5 it just displays the 5th word and i need the combination of 5th and 6th, so i tried grep 'the date and time is' 2012-12-07.txt | cut -d\ -f5 -f6 But its error. Now, how to grep the 5th and 6th word with one command I just need the output like 2012-12-07 17:11:50

I'm trying to write it so that if the user leaves the input blank, then the letter that would otherwise be taken to generate the username defaults to the letter 'z'.     I'm looking for a good way to disable a JPanel. I'm using a MVC design for a Java Swing GUI. I want the JPanel to be disabled while the model is processing stuff. I've tried setEnabled(false).     Hello: I have a simple webpage that displays the credit balance for calling cards. So far without any problems, with HTML, PHP and mysql, I was able to retrieve the balance from a data base. But I have to display the result in ANOTHER PAGE, wich looks akward because the page must reload. Can I just load this value into a pre-drawed field under the input fields that collect the data from the customer?   • Is there a script that would allow me to edit multiple files as if they are one file in VIM?

    I prefer to edit in one large file rather than many independent files, but due to limitations in languages, source control, and the preference of team mates I need to output to many files. What I'm looking for would recurse through all the files in a source directory and generate a single file to edit in VIM, with special file seperator markers. On save it would save the the changes to the correct file(s) ideally in a smart manner, based only on changes made. Does something like this exist?

    What I mean is like have to user input a string with multiple variables and get the value of those variable. Like a simple quadratic formula: x^2 + 5x + 10. Or in java: (Math.pow(x,2)) + (x * 5) + 10The user would then enter that and then the program would solve for x. I will be using the BeanShell Interpreter class to interpret the string as an equation. But how would I solve for x?

    This block of code is for client.html (it is located in this www.client.com/client.html) - client side. The I have the code below that goes something like this: ajaxRequest.open("GET", "http://www.server.com/ajax.php", true); This is how I call the file ajax.php located in the server. Unfortunately I have no luck at all. It cannot connect to the server I'm calling. BTW, the ips /test site I've been using are all no restrictions, and is accessible to all. However, I tried to simulate by putting both client.html and ajax.php in same site and it works well. So my question is does this script works only if you are in same site? or does it work also in client-server scenario?     I have a project with a lot of tests failing, so it would be great for me to receive by email the number of failed tests compare from the latest build. What i need is just the info that appears in the project's page by the test results link: Latest Test Result (10 failures / -2) Is this possible? I've already tried the email-ext plugin, but it is not telling me that info (I can have the list of failing tests with output etc., but I really just need that info above). Any ideas?

Not forms per se, but I need the possibility to add radiobuttons, input fields, checkboxes and so on. I loved the smoothness of TinyMCE, but apparently this doesn't take me far enough.
