I'm using str_replace like this: str_replace("’", '\u1234', $string); It looks like I cannot figure out what character the quote really is.   g++ allows this construction of an istream_iterator from an ifstream instance: std::ifstream ifstr("test.txt"); std::istream_iterator<std::string> iter1(ifstr); ...but it doesn't allow the same construction with an unnamed temporary: std::istream_iterator<std::string> iter2(std::ifstream("test.txt")); This gives: error: no matching function for call to ‘std::istream_iterator, ptrdiff_t::istream_iterator(std::ifstream)’ Does anyone know why this doesn't work? - thanks!

I have tried converting the column to XML using CONVERT but it gives the error: Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'CONVERT'. And roll() adds the specified (signed) single unit of time on the given time field without changing larger fields. I can't think of an everyday usage of roll() I would do everything by add().   I am considering upgrading my work computer to use windows 8 as the new file transferring feature seems very useful. Unfortunately after installing windows 8 on my home pc to test it out, the files are being transferred in separate dialogs as opposed to this image provided by microsoft.
