  • Grails dependency inject domain classes

    - by Don
Hi, The Grails manual shows this example of dependency injecting domain classes: class Book { def bookService def buyBook() { bookService.buyBook(this) } } However, I tried this out, and bookService is null. My guess is that the dependency injection happens when an object is loaded from the DB, so the following will always return null new Book().bookService Can someone confirm this?

  • Jquery page turn with html or asp

    - by vishal
I was asked by a client to create a bookflip (Page Turn) effect that did not require Flash. The imBookFlip plugin can load a book in an iframe or directly on the page. The book's pages can be set to turn when manually clicked only, begin auto flip (turn automatically) as soon as the html page loads, or begin auto flip when first page (front cover is clicked).

    - by RalfB
I have the following (test) XML file below and Java code that uses StaX. I want to apply this code to a file that is about 30 GB large but with fairly small elements, so I thought StaX is a good choice. (I can't change the order of the properties in the class of the object because there arent any properties defined there, I get the object from the database with 'MyActiveRecord')
