  Hi all, I'm using a DataGridView and I bind a List to the DataSource. I already have the right columns and I map exactly the fields. What I'm trying to do is handling a sort of RowAdded or RowDataBound (like in aspx GridView) event. The only event that I found is RowsAdded but no matter how many items I have, it is fired only 4 times the first time i bound, and twice the other times, with values e.RowCount:1 e.RowIndex:0 e.RowCount:[n-1] e.RowIndex:1 *where n is the number of my items is there a way I can get to a handle for each item?

If see on that page, then u will find that they have just written in one function...means this... $(function() { $("#datepicker").datepicker(); }); </script> But i want to open my date picker on one text box click event. so i have written this $("#datepicker").datepicker(); in one function which i am calling on textbox onclick event. but in this there is one problem coming.. i am only get date picker on second time click on text box. if i click first time after page load then date picker will not come but as soon as i click second time then date picker is coming? WHY? AND CAN I DO IT ON FIRST CLICK? yes i know this already happening perfect if i put first code but i want it on my function.

  I am using the Logging Application Block (of Microsoft Enterprise Library) to log exceptions in the Event Viewer that occur in my WPF XBAP application. If I run the XBAP in the debugger from Visual Studio, an Event Source entry for my application is automatically created in the Registry at: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\Application\MyApp This occurs at the point ExceptionPolicy.HandleException() is called. However, if I run the XBAP outside of the IDE directly from the file system or from its published location, the Registry entry isn't added. Therefore, no logging takes place. I can only assume this is a security issue with running XBAP applications and they do not have access to write to the Registry. Is this a setting within my project? Any idea on why this might be happening? Any help much appreciated.

  I have an application where I am looking for a text file and if there are any changes made to the file I am using the OnChanged eventhandler to handle the event. I am using the NotifyFilters.LastWriteTime but still the event is getting fired twice.   Is there any POSIX signals that I could utilize in my perl program to create event-driven programming? Currently I have multi-process program that is able to cross communicate but my parent thread is only able to listen to listen at one child at a time. foreach (@threads) { sysread(${$_}{'read'}, my $line, 100); chomp($line); print "Parent hears: $line\n"; } The problem is that the parent sits in a continual wait state until it receives it a signal from the first child before it can continue on. I am relying on 'pipe' for my intercommunication.   hi, 1) if I create items in a for loop, is correct to add a new eventListener for each item ? Or should I add only 1 eventListener to the parent ? and call the event through ID ? 2) if I want to scale my item, (a LinkButton with icon image), I noticed that the icon is sometimes resized with delay, so I have a bit of flickering when I trigger the event. Should I not use icons, and set the image in another way ? How can I fix this ? thanks

  I admittedly don't know much about JQuery but I have an AJAX page where I need to trigger a click event when someone clicks a button, but because the button is not there on the initial page load, I'm having issues using the click event.   I am developing a small application with images and trash box icon on right hand bottom. I have multiple images floating in the main window, and using mouse I can move image from one corner to other corner of window, left, right, top and bottom. I can't figure out how do I catch an event when a image touches and panel (with trash box image), in the right hand corner. Does anybody knows which event or handler to listen? This is not a drag and drop case since my images are floating so no point using drag and drop. Thank you

When creating an ISession, I hook up an event handler to the HttpApplication.EndRequest to take care of cleaning it up. However, I deployed my site to IIS and it says: Event handlers can only be bound to HttpApplication events during IHttpModule initialization. Since when? What for? Why? How can I bypass it?

  I have a case where I want a given event to execute once, and only once. I'm trying to do it this way, but I'm having prolems (else I wouldn't be asking). Note that the following code is inside the function that decides that the event needs to be fired. EventHandler h = delegate(Object sender, EventArgs e) { FiringControl.TheEvent -= h; // <-- Error, use of unassigned local variable "h" // Do stuff } FiringControl.TheEvent += h; In general this should work because of the way scope is preserved for delegates until after they're done running, but, since h is in the process of being built when I try to use it it is still considered to be "uninitialized", apparently.

  If FocusManager is enabled, then Menu item href click handlers can not be stopped. This causes the native click handler to complete and navigate the location hash to '#'. If FocusManager is not enabled, it does not change the hash. I tried overriding Ext.menu.Item to call evt.stopEvent if href is null. However, it looks like the EventManager.createListenerWrap() method totally hides the actual browser event and replaces it with an EventObject focus event. What's the correct solution here? Thanks.

  I have a textbox, and whenever the value of the box changes, I want to check and see if 20 digits have been entered. I thought that I would use the onChange event, but this seems to be interpreted as the onBlur event on IE. So then I thought I would use onKeyDown, but the problem comes in if the user wants to paste a value into the field, then the function never gets called. There are no other form boxes so I can't rely on onBlur or expect that they will change focus ever. How do I do this? I just want to evaluate the value of the textbox everytime the value of the textbox changes. <input type="text" onKeyDown="myfunction()">

  In OpenGL Renderer onDrawFrame is called several time, until the page is completely rendered. I cannot find an event that my page is completeley rendered in order to take a snapshot of the OpenGL page and animate it. I have the solution to take snapshot on at the animation trigger (specific button), but this will imply a specific delay, until Bitmap is created, such as i would like to keep in memory a mutable copy of every page. Do you know other way to animate GLSurfaceView with rendered content?
