    First of all, I found this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/659602/objective-c-html-escape-unescape, but it doesn't work for me. My encoded characters (come from a RSS feed, btw) look like this: &#038; I searched all over the net and found related discussions, but no fix for my particular encoding, I think they are called hexadecimal characters. I notice that GMail's iPad interface (and other mobile interfaces) doesn't scroll down in a normal web browser (pretending to be an iPad via a user-agent hack). How can one access this API on a PC? I have a school full of tablet PCs that aren't wonderful in tablet mode due to lack of application support, but there looks to be an increasing number of web-based apps that will fill this gap.

    We have all seen countless instances of forms with a select drop down having one of it's options as "Other" and on choosing that option, we get to see a input text box (which was hidden all along) asking us to type in our input. Is there a better way to implement this? Are there plugins out there which will let me do this better? Or are standard HTML elements suffice (some setting to a , may be) ?

  • asp.net prevent form submission twice

    I have a web forms web application (asp.net 2.0). When the user submits the form I have the submit link actually going away so they can't submit it again. However, they could press F5 and that is causing another insert into the database, which I don't want to have happen. Is there a setting of some sort that I can set if/when they do press F5 to tell the page - don't submit again?

  • PHP contact form overwrite fields issue repeating value

    H I'm using php contact form from http://phpfmg.sourceforge.net/home.php. I thought I'd add an onfocus effect so when i click in the fields the value dissappears automatically.
