(I keep a record in a DB) Every method is padded with the following calls: void myMethod() { log(entering,args[]); log(exiting,args[]); } Since I want to do this for all my methods, is there a better way to do this then having to replicate those lines of code in every method?

  When you branch some code, finish working with the branch, and merge it back to the trunk, what do you do with the branch? Delete it from the repository? Keep it for reference? It seems like you would keep it for reference, but I imagine the /branches directory could get pretty cluttered. (If this isn't something people generally agree on, please comment and I'll make it a community wiki.)

  Is there a way to use CATransform3D, or similar, to twist a UIView? What I mean is to rotate the top edge of the view, but keep the bottom edge where it is. All the transformations I've looked at keep the view 'flat'. Is this more of a Open GL task?

Just to make sure that the program logic is correct I added the code print(x,y), just the confirm that (x,y) pairs are being generated.   I have a function which does the following: When the function is called and passed a true bool value, it sets a static bool value to true When the function is called and passed a string, if the static bool value is set to true, it will do something with that string Here is my concern -- will a static variable remain the same between two overloaded functions? If not, I can simply create a separate function designed to keep track of the bool value, but I try to keep things simple.

  Hi, I need to define an appender for log4net in a way that I get one log file for each day, but the total number of files are limited to, let's say, 30. That is I want to keep only the logs not older then 30 days, delete the older ones. I've tried doing it with RollingFileAppender, but it seems that specifying a limit of files to keep is not supported. Do you know of an alternative solution that I could use?

  I'm building a Drupal theme up and want to know if there is a Drupalish way to add a css file only if the user has js turned off. This would ideally go in the theme.info file to keep it neat! Something like this would be ideal: conditional-stylesheets[if no javascript][all][] = nojs.css If this isn't possible then I'm going to keep all the css that needs JS out of the css files, and add it dynamically using JS but this seems a bit messy... Any ideas?

  I am using InnoDB for a MySQL table, and obviously queries using LIKE and RLIKE/REGEXP can take a lot of time. I've tried Spinx, and it works great, except I have to re-index context at intervals. I can re-index every minute, but I am wondering if there is either 1) a setting in Sphinx to keep records always indexed or 2) other software besides Sphinx that will keep records always indexed. I want it where that immediately upon inserting or updating a record, the index is updated.

  I only would like to keep the Access Logs of the last n days created by Tomcat Access Log Valve. http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-6.0-doc/config/valve.html#Access%20Log%20Valve But there seems to be no configuration-Attribute to define how long to keep the log-files? I guess this is because "Access Log Valve" only creates log files and doesn't delete them, is that correct?
