  • SEO for replacing blog content, but keeping the same page URL

    This might not have any major impact on the SEO, but basically I have random blog at this URL: http://example.com/blog (not a real URL), that I am removing and replacing with a company blog. I want to use the http://example.com/blog URL address, but I'm not sure how this would effect my SEO since this random blog content that I am removing has the example.com/blog URL prefix. Would I just add a 310 redirect for those old blog articles and leave the basic /blog URL without any redirects?

    Hi, I have a webpage underconstruction. I want to notify the people who visit it about its under-construction nature. For that I wanted to show a small transparent or transluscent page on the above page as shown here http://img17.imageshack.us/i/normalpagewithasmallpag.png/ You may notice that i want that page to appear at the center of the webpage overlayed on the original page with a cross at top-right corner. Clicking on that cross may close this small page revealing the page behind it so that the users may see what has been developed so far. I hope you guys have some suggestions for me.     Hi all, I have a login page in my android app. I want to prevent the user after logging in to come back to the login page. Also, when the user reopens the app, if he has logged in before, I want to go directly to the main page without having to go to the login page. What the best way of doing that? One idea I thought of is to save the login parameters in a cookie, and then, when the app is reopens, if the cookie contains some login information, I inflate the main page, otherwise, I inflate the login page.   • The best way to display data in a table view?

    Hey guys, I'm trying to display nutritional information in a table view but am struggling about the best way to show the info. I don't want to create unique views for each page as that would take up a lot of space. My ideal avenue would be like a website having links to data pages instead of individual views for each page. How would I best implement that? For example, I would want the first page to be a list of restaurants, then as you press the restaurant it would list the different types of food...the next page would be a list of those foods and then the final page would be the nutrition info itself.   • Unimportant words on page being seen as keywords, due to repetiveness

    I have a list of products on my site, and each product has a number of descriptors such as features, price, etc. Next to each product, I list the 10 features, with a graphical icon which lets the user know whether the product has that particular feature or not. In all, I have about 230 products, and I have to add the same list of features to describe each product, so you can see the enormous redundancy here of these "feature names". These "feature names", ex., "water proof", are not important keywords at all, yet due to the sheer volume of these words, Google is seeing them as my most important keywords. Is there any way to get around this, or to tell the bots to place (less) emphasis on these repetitive words, and not view them as important keywords?

I also posted question related to cookies issue yesterday,but I think that is nit main issue. can someone help please ?

    Hi all, I having trouble with passing http get parameters to jsf 2.0 backing bean. User will invoke URl with some params containing id of some entity, which is later used to persist some other entity in db. whole process can be summarized by fallowing: 1. user open page http://www.somhost.com/JsfApp/step-one.xhtml?sid=1 2. user fills some data and goes to next page 3. user fills some more data and then entity is saved to db with sid param from step one. I have session scoped backing bean that hold data from all the pages (steps), but I cant pass param to bean property.. any ideas?
