• 32 bit dll importing in 64 bit .Net application

  hello i'm having a problem, i try to solve it since yesterday but no luck. i have 32 bit delphi dll which i want to import in .NET Win Application. this application has to be built on ANY CPU mode. of course, there's BadImageFormatException coming, which means that in x64 application can't be loaded x86 dll.. i googled around and find solution, it said i have to do wrapper, but it wasn't clear for me. can anybody tell how to solve this problem, is there any possible way i can import 32bit Delphi dll in program builted Any CPU or x64 mode(maybe another solution).

  Hello, I need to track changes in my UITextView method (actianly for limiting number of lines), but none of UITextViewDelegate methods are being called when editing in UITextView begins. Not even - (void)textViewDidChange:(UITextView *)textView; I dont know what Im doing wrong I added UITextViewDelegate method to header file like that: @interface PirmasViewController : UIViewController <UITextViewDelegate, MFMa......   Hello, I am trying to understand this simple hashlib code in Python that has been given to me the other day on "Stackoverflow": import hashlib m = hashlib.md5() m.update("Nobody inspects") m.update(" the spammish repetition here") m.digest() '\xbbd\x9c\x83\xdd\x1e\xa5\xc9\xd9\xde\xc9\xa1\x8d\xf0\xff\xe9' m.digest_size 16 m.block_size 64 print m I thought that "print m" would show me the MD5 digest of the phrase: "Nobody inspects the spammish repetition here", but as a result I got this line on my local host: <md5 HASH object @ 01806220> Strange, when I refreshed the page, I got another line: <md5 HASH object @ 018062E0> and every time when I refresh it, I get another value: md5 HASH object @ 017F8AE0 md5 HASH object @ 01806220 md5 HASH object @ 01806360 md5 HASH object @ 01806400 md5 HASH object @ 01806220 Why is it so? I guess, what I have in each line flowing "@" is not really a digest. Then, what is it? And how can I display MD5 digest here in this code? My python version is Python 2.5 and the framework I am currently using is webapp (I have downloaded it together with SDK from "Google App Engine")

How can I save and restore my Dockwidgets? - I already tried registering my custom DockWidgets as a QMetaType and implementing the default Constructor, copy Constructor, Destructor and Streaming operators. 2. • Publishing SWF using Adobe Flash

  Hello everyone, I have a SWF file which contains of an image (1keyframe) and also, it contains an AS3 file with the following codes: var loader:Loader=new Loader(); var ur:URLRequest=new URLRequest("1.swf"); loader.load(ur); addChild(loader); so basically, i am trying to play the swf file (1.swf - an audio) while the image is being displayed. What I want to know is how will I be able to publish this project into an SWF file which can still play as expected even without the raw 1.swf file. I can publish SWF right now but when I delete the 1.swf file, my generated swf can only display the image. Help me please. Thanks in advance :)

• MVC - Calling Controller Methods

  Hello, My application is following the MVC design pattern. The problem I keep running into is needing to call methods inside a Controller class from outside that Controller class (ex. A View class wants to call a Controller method, or a Manager class wants to call a Controller method). Is calling Controller methods in this way allowed in MVC? If it's allowed, what's the proper way to do it? According to the version of MVC that I am following (there seems to be so many different versions out there), the View knows of the Model, and the Controller knows of the View. • SubSonic-based app that connects to multiple databases

  Hello there, I currently developed an app that connects to SQL Server 2005 database, so my DAL objects where generated using information from that DB. It will also be possible to connect to an Oracle and MySQL db, all with the same table structures (aside from the normal differences in fields, such as varbinary(max) in SQL Server and BLOB in Oracle, and so on). For this purpose, I already defined multiple connection strings and multiple SubSonic providers for the different DB's the app will run on. My question is, if I generated my objects using a SQL Server database, should the generated objects work transparently with the other DB's or do I need to generate a different DAL for each database engine I use? Should I be aware of any possible bugs I may encounter while performing these operations? Thanks in advance for any advice on this issue.

• Visual C# 2008 Express deployment

  Hello, is there any way I can add some files in the deployment process so they get copied in the installation? I need an xml file that has some data that the application needs, I tried every option in the build action for the file but nothing works, the application always crashes after the installation. Also, I'd like the program to be installed under the Program Files directory. The folder where VS Express installs it it's weird some C:\Users\Carlo\Temp\Applications\weirdnumbers9231FFC231\ directory, and I don't want that either. Thanks in advance!

  Hello, I have an UI implemented with Swing. One component does some work that may take some time, so I use SwingUtilities.invokeLater. However, I was reading some old code and found this in an ActionListener: if (!SwingUtilities.isEventDispatchThread()) { SwingUtilities.invokeLater(new Runnable() { public void run() { // code X } }); } else { // code X } I thought that it made sense since it separates code X from the EDT. However, I found it error-prone since I have used it a couple of times and both times I forgot the else part. The question is: is the SwingUtilities.isEventDispatchThread() checking necessary? Or could I assume that I am not in the EDT and always use invokeLater? Thanks a lot.

  Hello all, I'm trying to figure out how to deploy a huge (40-50 MB) EAR file to the server through a rather slow VPN connection. The EAR contains EJB and WAR projects created in Glassfish, and 90% of the file size is from external dependency libraries used. Has anyone came up with a strategy for elegant deployment to production system from Netbeans, where the deployment (over the network) is done only for what is really needed (i.e. just one WAR, not the entire EAR, or just one lib, not the entire libraries subproject). Related to the first point, how to separate external dependency libs from project in Netbeans, so that the project compiles on development machine, but when the EAR/WAR/EJB is created it does not contain all the dependency JARs, which are making it huge. Perhaps we need to write custom ant script? Start using maven? Thank you all for kind answers, Bozo

Just as the line tool in Photoshop (for example): The user clicks on the image, drags the mouse (while the line between the start point and the mouse point is dynamically drawn on mouse drag). I would also need a callable function to send the page the start and end coordinates.   Hello. Consider a weighted graph G=(V,E,w). We are given a family of subsets of vertices V_i. Those sets of vertices are not necessarily disjoint. A Steiner Forest is a forest that for each subset of vertices V_i connects all of the vertices in this subset with a tree. Example: only one subset V_1 = V. In this case a Steiner forest is a spanning tree of the whole graph. Enough theory. Finding such a forest with minimal weight is difficult (NP-complete). Do you know any quicker approximate algorithm to find such a forest with non-optimal weight?

  Hello, I have an application which uses Spring 3. I have a view resolver which builds my views based on a String. So in my controllers I have methods like this one. @RequestMapping(...) public String method(){ //Some proccessing return "tiles:tileName" } I need to return a RedirectView to solve the duplicate submission due to updating the page in the browser, so I have thought to use Spring redirect: prefix. The problem is that it only redirects when I user a URL alter the prefix (not with a name a resolver can understand). I wanted to do something like this: @RequestMapping(...) public String method(){ //Some proccessing return "redirect:tiles:tileName" } Is there any way to use RedirectView with the String (the resolvable view name) I get from the every controller method?   Hello Stackers Does anyone have an idea on how to include or input the page numbers in the excel sheet generated using C# code. I use the libraries available in Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel to generate the file. However by default in the output i cannot see the page numbers.   Hello all, Two things: Firstly - I have version 2 of a website located in a folder named v2, and I want to redirect any traffic that is NOT a child of the v2 folder, to www.example.com/v2 The old site located in the root was created in iWeb and has a LOT of subfolders and sub-subfolders. So: www.example.com/v2 = New site www.example.com/Page.html www.example.com/category/Page.html ww.example.com/category/subcategory/Page.html = All generic examples of what I need to redirect. Secondly, and I don't know if this is possible, I want to hide /v2/ in the URL, so that visitors will just see www.example.com/page even though they are actually on www.example.com/v2/page Links are hardcoded to the v2 folder, like so <a href="v2/contact.html" Any help is MOST appreciated. I've spent hours trying to figure this out, but I'm only just learning about htaccess and regular expressions, and am totally confused. Thanks so much!

  Hello all, I am getting some odd behavior from stock table cells, or maybe not odd, maybe I am making some assumptions. I create the cells as follows: cell = [[[UITableViewCell alloc] initWithStyle:UITableViewCellStyleDefault reuseIdentifier:CellIdentifier] autorelease]; Then I assign an image to the default imageView property. My image usually comes in from a user, so it might be larger than the default size. To take care of this I: [cell.imageView setContentMode:UIViewContentModeScaleAspectFit]; which I expected to scale the image for me within the control, but in reality, the images are all over the map. So, is there a proper way to constrain the image in stock cell types? Thanks in advance!

And there are some of the zipcodes which has no entry in zipcode table, so that should remain null. And the major issue is like I have more then 50,00,000 records in my db. So, query should support this feature. I have tried some of the solutions but unfortunately not getting proper output. Any help would be appreciated...

I have two models: class Account(models.Model): main_request = models.ForeignKey('JournalistRequest', related_name='main_request') key = models.CharField(_('Key'), max_length=100) class JournalistRequest(models.Model): account = models.ForeignKey(Account, blank=True, null=True) When I try to delete a JournalistRequest, It shows warning with a lot of nesting, like Are you sure you want to delete the selected ?????? ??? objects? All of the following objects and their related items will be deleted: Journalist Request: some request Account: some account Journalist Request: some request Account: some account Journalist Request: some request Account: some account Journalist Request: some request Account: some account Journalist Request: some request All accounts are the same one (ids are same), and all requests are the same one, so I think it becaues of a recursion. But I have no idea how to solve this problem in Django 1.1.1! Can you help me?
