  • Conditional sorting in MySQL?

    I have "tasks" table with 3 fields: date priority (0,1,2) done (0,1) What I am trying to achieve is with the whole table sorted by done flag, tasks that are not done should be sorted by priority, while tasks that are done should be sorted by date: Select * from tasks order by done asc If done=0 additionally order by priority desc If done=1 additionally order by date desc Is it possible to do this in MySQL without unions? Thanks.

    The following procedure gives me an error when I invoke it using the CALL statement: CREATE DEFINER=`user`@`localhost` PROCEDURE `emp_performance`(id VARCHAR(10)) BEGIN DROP TABLE IF EXISTS performance; CREATE TABLE performance AS SELECT time_in, time_out, day FROM attendance WHERE employee_id = id; END The error says "Unknown table 'performance' ". This is my first time actually using stored procedures and I got my sources from Google. I just cant figure out what I am doing wrong.

  • Re-order form fields on submit url

    I have a get form with several visible and hidden input fields. When the form is submitted, selected fileds with their values are appended to the url in the order they are placed in the form. Is there a way to re-order the parameters in the url using jQuery? Note that for the reasons of usability, I can not re-order the elements on the form itself. I know it beggs the question "why would I want to do it?", but the reason is that I will be hitting a static page, so the order of the parameters have to be exactly how they are in the static page url. But i want "Type" to be a combobox so the user can select the apropriate type of the appointment (its a list of appointments connected to an event). This combobox should be filled with data thats inside a table of the sql ce database (apptype). This table is not static, the users can add and delete items from this list. I have tried a few ways i found via google, but failed. I guess i'm having problems understanding how this works/should work. I hope someone can help me :( Thanks in advance

  • Drupal's profile_save_profile Doesn't Work in hook_cron, When Run by the Server's cron

    I have a problem with the following implementation of hook_cron in Drupal 6.1.3. The script below runs exactly as expected: it sends a welcome letter to new members, and updates a hidden field in their profile to designate that the letter has been sent. There are no errors in the letter, all new members are accounted for, etc. The problem is that the last line -- updating the profile -- doesn't seem to work when Drupal cron is invoked by the 'real' cron on the server. When I run cron manually (such as via /admin/reports/status/run-cron) the profile fields get updated as expected. Any suggestions as to what might be causing this? I usually use it to detect changes in forms (select/unselect check boxes), and submit them automatically without having to click on submit button (which is hided). i.e. $("#views-exposed-form-Portfolio-page-1").change(function(){ $("#views-exposed-form-Portfolio-page-1").submit(); }); But in Ie it doesn't work. It seems I have to use "click" instead. thanks
