  • Hide Hashtags from the user's address bar

    Does anyone know an easy way to hide hashtags in the user's address bar? I am using a image gallery plugin and the only way to control the start position is to use a hash tag. The problem is the hash tag gives away the relative path of the images folder and it looks bad. Without the hash tag it only loads thumbs and not start image so really it's unavoidable. Thanks!

    I have a div, let's call it class="phoneNo". Inside the div there are two links, one to add another div just like it, and another to delete the div itself.     I'm having trouble with special characters that exist in an xml node attribute. To combat this, I'm trying to render the attributes as child nodes and, where necessary, using cdata sections to get around the special characters. The problem is, I can't seem to get the cdata section appended to the node correctly. I'm iterating over the source xml node's attributes and creating new nodes. If the attribute.name = "description" I want to put the attribute.text() in a cdata section and append the new node.   • Been asked a dozen times, but no luck from what I've read. Prevent Anchor Jumping on page load

    I'm currently working with WP theme that can be found here: sanjay.dmediastudios.com I'm currently using 'smooth scroll' on my page, I'm attempting to have the page smoothly scroll to the requested section when coming from an external link (for instance coming from the blog page takes you to sanjay.dmediastudios.com/#portfolio) from there I want the page to start at the top and THEN scroll to the portfolio section. What's happening is it briefly displays the 'portfolio section' (anchor jump) and THEN resets to the top and scrolls down. It's driving me nuts :(.   • Links in rounded boxes? In ALL browsers (yep included IE8)

    I tried maaaany script but every time I get stuck in something bad. My goal is to create rounded boxes for links. You can see an example of I'm talking about here in the read more link (effects not necessary). Very common I know, but I want to make it work in eeeevery browsers at least safari, FF, chrome and most important IE7+ (IE6 not necessary...). The script that took me closest to the solution is Cornerz but I can't fix a very bad issue on IE8. Does anybody knows a way to get rid of this or to achieve my goal?
