  • Convert p4 move to p4 integrate

    Is there a simple way to convert a (large) list of p4 moves to p4 integrates? There are a lot of pending modifications to the moved files, so just reverting and instead integrating isn't an option. Perforce won't let you just revert the deleted file (which would leave the desired integration behind).

  • python glob and bracket characters ('[]')

    /Users/smcho/Desktop/bracket/[10,20] directory has "abc.txt", but when I run this python code import glob import os.path path1 = "/Users/smcho/Desktop/bracket/\[10,20\]" pathName = os.path.join(path1, "*.txt") print glob.glob(pathName) It returns empty list. Can't python's glob doesn't handle the bracket letters or others? Is there any way to solve this problem?

    I am using msdb..sp_help_job to access whether a job succeeded or failed and can retrieve a general error. But, I want to access the specific error for the step that failed. I cannot seem to find it. It is not in this list of helpful stored procedures provided by MS http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms187763%28v=SQL.100%29.aspx The account running the query is limited but does have the SQLUserAgent role and owns the Jobs that it is accessing.

    Hi there here is what I would like to do. I get a List of objects from a database and bind this list to a ListBox Control. The ListBoxItems consist of a textbox and a button. Here is what I came up with. Up to this point it works as intended. The object has a number of Properties like ID, Name. These choices would be coming from a data store and be unique to that user. I see how in designer you can add a set of choices statically that show upon the user making a selection. However, what do you do when you need that to come from data and not design it in the designer?

  • jQuery hide ul header when all entries are deleted...

    I'm a noob with jQuery...and I hope I've explained this well enough; I have a <ul> header that appears when I've added an entry to a dynamically created list using $.post. Each entry added has a delete/edit button associated with it. Header is this: <ul class="header"> <li>Month</li> <li>Year</li> <li>Cottage</li> </ul> My dynamic list that is created: <ul class="addedItems"> <li>Month</li> <li>Year</li> <li>Cottage</li> <li><span class="edit">edit</span></li> <li><span class="del">delete</span></li> </ul> This all looks like this: Month Year Cottage <--this appears after I've added an entry -------------------------------- and I want it to stick around unless all items are deleted. Dec 1990 Fir edit/delete <--entries Jan 2000 Willow edit/delete My question is: Is there some kind of conditional that I can use with jQuery to hide the class="header" if all the items are deleted? I've read up on conditional statements like is and not with jq but I'm not really understanding how they work. All of the items in class="addedItems" is stored in data produced by JSON.   • Scipy Negative Distance? What?

    I have a input file which are all floating point numbers to 4 decimal place. i.e. 13359 0.0000 0.0000 0.0001 0.0001 0.0002` 0.0003 0.0007 ... (the first is the id). My class uses the loadVectorsFromFile method which multiplies it by 10000 and then int() these numbers. On top of that, I also loop through each vector to ensure that there are no negative values inside. However, when I perform _hclustering, I am continually seeing the error, "Linkage Z contains negative values". I seriously think this is a bug because: I checked my values, the values are no where small enough or big enough to approach the limits of the floating point numbers and the formula that I used to derive the values in the file uses absolute value (my input is DEFINITELY right). Can someone enligten me as to why I am seeing this weird error?   • Getting Data From Webpages?

    When looking to get data from a web page whats the recommended method if the page does not provide a structured data feed? Am I right in thinking that its just a case of doing an NSURLRequest and then hacking what you need out of the responseData(NSData*)? I am not too concerned about the implementation in Xcode, I am more curious about actually collecting the data, before I start coding a "hunt & peck" through a list of data. gary

  • Google maps api - not found address suggestion

    Usually when you try to add a marker to an unknown/ambiguous address you just get an error from the api. It would be much nicer if i could display a list of suggestions related to the address that was not found. The Google maps site has this feature but i do not know how to do with the api.     I have an Asp.Net MVC 2 web application deployed on IIS 7.5 on .Net 4.0. When I select application pool as Asp.Net v4.0 Classic I get the following error. HTTP Error 403.14 - Forbidden The Web server is configured to not list the contents of this directory. The same application works fine when I select application pool as Asp.Net v4.0 Integrated. Does anyone know what is the reason for this?

  • Search Complexity of a Hashtable within a Hashtable?

    Say we have a hashtable of size m, and at each bucket we store a hashtable of size p. What would the worst case/average case search complexity be? I am inclined to say that since computing a hash function is still atomic, the only worst case scenario is if the value is at the end of the linked list in the hashtable of size p, so O(n)? I have no idea how to calculate the average case for this scenario and would appreciate any pointers!

    I've never understood the need of #pragma once when #ifndef #define #endif always works. I've seen the usage of #pragma comment to link with other files , but setting up the compiler settings was easier with an IDE. What are some other usages of #pragma that is useful, but not widely known? Edit: I'm not just after a list of #pragma directives.
