• Rescuing redirect :back after destroy in Rails?

  I'm looking for a best practice solution to be able to keep using redirect :back after a successful destroy action, as many items can be deleted from a variety of listings. Unfortunately that strategy fails for the one case when the delete is initiated from the item view itself. What approach do you recommend for this situation?

  My application runs on windows XP restricted user account. The application needs Domain Name, Admin User ID, Admin Password in order to work out with Impersonation class for executing some piece of code with admin privileges. The Admin will also change the Password every 90 days. Due to security reasons, i cannot maintain the admin credentials in my app.config file. What else would be best idea ?

• SSH/Shell - Remove all folders with name "____" within folder AND subfolders

  I have a script that is copying a folder that contains a couple sub folders. The original that it is copying from is part of an SVN folder, so it is copying those ".svn" folders as well. I want to remove those from the new destination, my best guess was: rm -Rf dir/*.svn Which doesn't work, is there a way to do this or do I need to manually go into each folder to delete it?

  I'm writing a thread-pool for Qt as QRunnable doesn't handle event loops in new threads. Not too familiar with STL, what would be the best way to pop() something by priority? Priority should probably be a property of MyRunnable imo, but I can always give that info to an STL container when adding the runnable to the queue.
