For items with the same end year the one with the lowest start year should be next.   Hi, I just noticed that if I have an identity column in a table, when I insert new rows SQL Server 2008 is automatically filling up the sequence if there are discontinuity. I mean, if in my identity column I have 1,2,5,6 if I insert other two rows in the table the system puts automatically 3,7 in the identity column. Do you know how to control this behavior? THANKS

• How can I display different icons for same file extension

  Visual Studio has *.SLN files for 2008, and 2010. In explorer, the icon associated with the file is based on the version somehow. I was always under the impression that the associated icon just looked at the extension, but obviously there is more going on.   We have several .net dlls that are being stripped of version information when they are copied to our production environment. The Servers in prod are windows 2008 and we are using robocopy to move the files. It does not always strip the info, but when it does, it errors out the entire site. Any thoughts would be very helpful.
