    I get the directory path from fsevent, such as "/User/Data/" But what I really want is "/User/Data/change.txt" I have read the programming guide, it said typedef void ( *FSEventStreamCallback )( ConstFSEventStreamRef streamRef, void *clientCallBackInfo, size_t numEvents, void *eventPaths, const FSEventStreamEventFlags eventFlags[], const FSEventStreamEventId eventIds[]); eventPaths An array of paths to the directories in which event(s) occurred. is there any method to find out which file is altered? thanks!!!!   • Validating String Characters as Numeric w/ Pascal (FastReport 4)

    I'm new to Pascal and FastReport. This question can probably be answered without knowledge of FastReport. Pascal is Delphi. FastReport4. I have a text box accepting an 8 character string as input. Each character should be numeric. I'm attempting to validate each character as numeric. I've tried using the val function... Procedure Val(S : String; var R: Real; Code : Integer); begin end; procedure thisinputOnChange(Sender: TfrxComponent); var S : String; error : Integer; R : Real; begin S := thisinput.lines.text; Val (S, R, error); If error > 0 then Button2.enabled := False; end; I got this code online. The explanation says that the function will return an error with a code greater than zero if the character cannot be converted to an integer. Is that explanation correct? Am I misinterpreting? Right now I am trying to set a button's enabled property to false if the validation fails. I might change that to a message. For now, I would like to get it to work by setting the button property. I'm not sure if I should be using the onChange event or another event. I'm also not sure if I need to send the input to the val function in a loop. Like I said, I'm just learning how to use this function. I am able to validate the length. This code works... procedure thisinputOnChange(Sender: TfrxComponent); begin if length(thisinput.lines.text) = 8 then Button2.enabled := True; end; Any suggestions?     I have one device which sends data on COM port say on COM13, now i want to read that data and display it in the RichtextBox or in any text control , i have written the application with the help of IO and IO.Ports but comport.DataRecived event does not fire,even though device is sending data on that port, I have some software on which i define the port number and it successfully display data ,which insure me that data is reciving on the Port but i am unable to recive, is there any way i can read data?     One particular user is getting an exception when connecting an application I created to a third party app using COM. The connection fails with the following error: Source: mscorlib Message: Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040202 This software works fine for other users. Any ideas what could be going on? The error occurs just before the app adds some event handlers to some of the COM objects from the third party app. It is able to successfully instantiate the objects, though.

  • Safari/Chrome problem with ajaxsubmit?

    Hi I'm currently having some weird issues with ajaxsubmit (http://jquery.malsup.com/form/#ajaxSubmit), which I'm currently using in a project. I have a flow where I need to open a form into a modal window. I'm using fancybox for that and it works like a charm. When the form has been forced to open in the fancybox window there can happen two things. 1) If the user who is about to submit the form is logged in she should see a confirmation in the modal box, that her input was succesfully submitted 2)If the user is not logged in there should be loaded a login form once she hits the submit button 2.1) When the user has logged in she should receive a confirmation in the modal box. This is also working like a charm in Firefox, IE8 and IE7 but not in Safari or Chrome. The weird part is that it seems like safari and chrome are completely ignoring my ajaxsubmit form. I was wondering how I could go about detecting some point of time in the video. For eg, say I want to write log to a file when the video has played for 10s. How can I detect the 10s mark?   • Force sharepoint to ask for authentication

    Is there a way to force sharepoint 2010 to popup the dialog to ask the user for a username and password and not use the computers logged in user, if that user doesn't have access. We need an internal sharepoint website to not use the windows credentials, since these are computers used by many people. The windows user doesn't have access to the site, so currently it shows an access denied, click here to log in as another user. We would prefer if it just asked for credentials in a more graceful manner.

  • jQuery Dialog causing buttons not to post-back

    I'm using the jQuery UI Dialog() function on an ASP.NET webform, on a particular panel. After Dialog() is applied, the buttons become useless and will not post back at all; I'm not even getting a Page_Load event firing, let alone any button events. Is the Dialog function messing with my button events? If so, is there a way to fix this?

  • Logging in with webrat, celerity doesn't recognize that.

    I'm using cucumber with webrat, and I am just starting to integrate culerity/celerity. My webrat login steps have been working great, and I have them as a Background for many of my scenarios. The problem is that although I can log in successfully via webrat, my celerity specific step definitions don't seem to recognize that. I can check the session from the step def and it confirms that I have a valid user that is logged in. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
