  • Executable directory where application is running from?

    I need to get the path (not the executable) where my application is running from: System.AppDomain.CurrentDomain.BaseDirectory() When I run the above statement with & "/images/image.jpg" on my local machine it works fine but when I install the application on another machine it says it cannot find the file and there is a lot of extra path information some. I just need the directory of where the app is running. I am coding in VB.NET with Visual Studio 2008. Thanks!

Not event [email protected] but both had different domains such as : [email protected] and [email protected] Why is this? Any particular advantage in doing so? Other than not polluting the employees email software, I can't see.

    Are there any examples or case studies of social games, specifically on Facebook, where the developer has made drastic changes to the economy? I'm specifically interested in examples where the old economy was based off of purchasing items with Facebook credits then moving to a new model where the same inventory or similar inventory is sold with a soft currency. The closest comparisons I've been able to find so far are looking at iOS games that have gone from purchase models to freemium models, but haven't found a comparable scenario in a social game besides larger scale MMO's.

I would like to include a feedback link which would encourage the user to leave a comment that would be added to the Application wall - this comment would open like a standard FB modal window. Is there anyway to post to to the Application Wall directly via JS?     Hi All, I have created a deployment file(msi) using VS Setup project. This msi file create a shortcut in desktop.During deployment I have added some predefined data files (.xml/text) into it.Application shortcut working fine i.e. it open the application and running fine. But once I delete some data files from installation location, and then click application shortcut, it started installing the application and copied all those files into the original installation location again.
