  • How to run unit tests in STAThread mode?

    I would like to test an app that uses the Clipboard (WindowsForms) and I need the Clipboard in my Unittests also. In order to use it, it should run in STA mode, but since the NUnit Testfixture does not have a main method, I don't know where/how to annotate it... Thanks!

    I don't want to have to add the EmulateIE7 meta tag for every page if I dont have to. My default.htm is a FRAMESET page so can I just add the meta tag to my default FRAMESET page and my site stay in IE=EmulateIE7 mode for each new page that loads in the frameset? Thanks

    INTEL X86 Platform. My programme run start at 2M absolute address in protected mode,everything seems ok, but when i enable interrupt with "sti", the CPU will restart. Why? is there any necessary initialization before "enbale interrupt"? i have setup the idtptr, but it seems no work.

    Hi all, On my iphone app, I have a UITableView in edit mode, containing custom UITableViewCell. I would like to detect when user has clicked on the left button of each cell (minus circular red button, the one that is animated with a rotation), just before the "Delete" button appears. I would like to be able to change my cell content in that case... Is that possible ? Thanks !

  • why doesn't IE8 refresh textbox right away?(Jquery)

    I have 3 radio buttons and one textbox in my page. These 3 radio controls represent corresponding choice and among them, the third one enables textbox that is disabled by default. If user clicks any one from the first twos after clicking the third, the textbox will be emptied(if user input any) and disabled again. The problem is, in IE, the textbox isn't emptied not until I click back once again on the said textbox. I've used jquery val methods as well as attr but nothing seems to work. You can see my code as follows. The very same code works just fine in Mozilla.     I am using Microsoft Access 2007 to move and massage some data between two SQL Servers. Yesterday everything was working correctly, I was able to run queries, update data, and delete data. Today I opened up the Access database to finish my data migration and am now receiving the following message when I try to run some update queries: The action or event has been blocked by Disabled Mode. Any ideas what this is talking about?

  • Strategy for developing namespaced and non-namespaced versions of same PHP code

    I'm maintaining library written for PHP 5.2 and I'd like to create PHP 5.3-namespaced version of it. However, I'd also keep non-namespaced version up to date until PHP 5.3 becomes so old, that even Debian stable ships it ;) I've got rather clean code, about 80 classes following Project_Directory_Filename naming scheme (I'd change them to \Project\Directory\Filename of course) and only few functions and constants (also prefixed with project name). Question is: what's the best way to develop namespaced and non-namespaced versions in parallel? Should I just create fork in repository and keep merging changes between branches? Are there cases where backslash-sprinkled code becomes hard to merge? Should I write script that converts 5.2 version to 5.3 or vice-versa? Should I use PHP tokenizer? sed? C preprocessor? Is there a better way to use namespaces where available and keep backwards compatibility with older PHP?

    I've developed a small control bar for a Flash viewer generated by a third-party software. It has a First, Prev, Next & Last button, and a Zoom command. While Zoom works fine in all browsers, the navigation buttons seem to fail at Internet Explorer 8. I use at least two functions.     Does anybody know of a good way to replicate Photoshop's multiply layer mode using either an image or CSS? I'm working on a project that has thumbnails that get a color overlay when you hover over them, but the designer used a layer set to multiply and I can't figure out how to produce it on the web. The best thing I've come up with is either using rgba or a transparent png, but even then it doesn't look right.

  • Re-Add tabBarController's view into window and the device is in landscape mode

    Hello, I have an app that is a tabBarController based app. I have 4 tabs on it and one of these is for logging in/out in my app. The main ideea is that when I logout, I release the tabBarController (this will release the all 4 view controllers too - I have done this becuse I want to refersh all the views after logging out to look just like the first time).After this, I alloc it again and add the view controllers aagin,set the tabBarItem's titles,etc.This work ok. The problem is when I am in landscape mode;my logout view is painted to fit the landscape area,but after disconnect(now I releasse and alloc again the tabbarController) the view is painted in portrait mode but my device is in lanscape.   • gwtQuery's outerWidth(true) and IE8 not working without putting a delay

    I recently came across an odd behavior when trying to calculate the width (with margins) of an element using gwtQuery. The goal is to get the width (including padding, borders and margins) of a given element as a child of a certain parent. This parent may define specific CSS rules for some children so I clone it, add my element to this parent, call .outerWidth(true) to get the width and finally remove the clone from the parent. It works fine on Chrome, Firefox and IE 10, but randomly fails (outputs 0) on IE 8. However I noticed that if I put a "sleep" between the moment I add the element to the DOM and the moment I get the outer width, it always succeeds. I obviously don't want to keep that sleep. So my question is does anyone has any insights on how to work around this behavior or even a better way of achieving the same goal? Thank you! But this way, I am repating the same code in two places and if anything is to be changed later on in the code, I have to do it in both places, which is time consuming and error prone. Thanks.
