    The stack is initialized with a int MaxSize =3. Then I push one int onto the list. " Pushed:" is returned to the console. Program crashes here. I think my logic is flawed but unsure. Maybe an infinite loop or unmet condition? Thanks for your help. I'm trying to traverse the list to the last node in the second part of the full() method.     I'm trying to find some simple client-side performance tweaks in a page that receives millions of monthly pageviews. One concern that I have is the use of the CSS universal selector (*).     I've been banging my head on the wall after going through the documentation on this several times! I can't seem to get past the API error to get the map to appear on my site. I am getting the following error message from the web page where I want the map to be displayed: ~~~~~~~~~~~ Google has disabled use of the Maps API for this application. The provided key is not a valid Google API Key, or it is not authorized for the Google Maps Javascript API v3 on this site. If you are the owner of this application, you can learn about obtaining a valid key here: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/tutorial#Obtaining_Key ~~~~~~~~~~~ I have (several times now) gone into my account and 1) enabled the Maps v3 API service. 2) Generated a new API key. and 3) added my allowed referrers to the key.   • Problem uploading app to google app engine

    I'm having problems uploading an app to the google-app-engine from my work place. I believe the problem is related to proxy, because I do not see the same problem when following the same procedure from home. (I do not specify HTTP_PROXY from home). These are the commands I run: HTTP_PROXY=http://proxy.<thehostname>.com:8080 HTTP_PROXY=https://proxy.<thehostname>.com:8080 appcfg.py --insecure update myappfolder When running the commands I get prompted for email and password, as expected, but after that it immediately exits with this errormessage: Error 302: --- begin server output --- <HTML> <HEAD> <TITLE>Moved Temporarily</TITLE> </HEAD> <BODY BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF" TEXT="#000000"> <H1>Moved Temporarily</H1> The document has moved <A HREF="https://www.google.com/accounts/ClientLogin">here</A>. </BODY> </HTML> --- end server output --- Note: I added the --insecure option because else it gave a warning of missing ssl module. I tested the code with a firefox User-Agent switcher plugin, and looking at the access log it shows this at the end of each log entry, but watching in TamperData or Firebug, it still returns a 200 server response instead of a 503. What am I doing wrong?     Hello, Really getting in to javascript and looking around at some patterns. One I have come accross is the module pattern. Its seems like a nice way to think of chucks of functionality so I went ahead and tried to implement it with jQuery. I ran in to a snag though. These both use jQuery methods. The problem is that the .html() method works fine however i can not add the class. No errors result and the class does not get added. What is happening here? Why is the class not getting added to the div?

    IE6: when I place a partially transparent image in a div, the radio buttons in that div that overlap the non-transparent pixels of the image become unclickable.   • How to avoid CSS conflict using jquery?

    I am experiencing a CSS conflict issue. Here are the details: I have a search results page in which products are shown in grid format. The CSS for that is grid search results is "product-grid.css" which is included header of the page. On this page I have button which when clicked shows the search results in list format. The css for list format is "product-list.css" which is also included in head tag of the page. Now the HTML guy has made the name of classes to be same in both product-grid.css and product-list.css. What I want is that when I am viewing the page in grid style only product-grid.css should apply to respective portion of the page. And when I am viewing the page in list format then product-grid.css should be disabled and product-list.css should apply on whole page. I have tried enabling and disabling css files using jquery but may be I am doing something wrong. Also when the page loads both css files are active in head tag and due to conflict in classes names the page is malformed even without shifting to other view. Any help what should I do?

Is there a way to get the final HTML code directly from PHP, without opening the page with any browser?     The included JavaScript snippet is supposed to do the following: As the user clicks on the map, initialize headMarker and draw a circle (polygon) around it As the user clicks inside the circle, initialize tailMarker and draw the path between these two markers 1 is happening as expected. But as the user clicks inside the circle, in the function(overlay,point), overlay is non-null while point is null. Because of this, the code fails to initialize tailMarker.     In a project where some of the files contains ^M as newline separators. Diffing these files are apparently impossible, since git-diff sees it as the entire file is just a single line. How does one diff with the previous version?     I edited this question after i found a solution... i need to understand why the solution worked instead of my method? This is likely to be a silly question. I tried searching other questions that are related... but to no avail. i am running Apache/2.2.11 (Ubuntu) DAV/2 SVN/1.5.4 PHP/5.2.6-3ubuntu4.5 with Suhosin-Patch mod_python/3.3.1 Python/2.6.2 i have a script called test.py #! /usr/bin/python print "Content-Type: text/html" # HTML is following print # blank line, end of headers print "hello world" running it as an executable works... /var/www$ ./test.py Content-Type: text/html hello world when i run http://localhost/test.py i get a 404 error.     I am trying to apply some natural transformations whereby the x axis is remapped to some very small domain, like from 0 to 1, whereas y is remapped to some small, but substantially larger domain, like 0 to 30. This way, drawing code can be nice and clean and only care about the model space. However, if I apply a scale, then lines are also scaled, which means that horizontal lines become extremely fat relative to vertical ones. Here is some sample code. When natural_height is much less than natural_height, the picture doesn't look as intended.   • CVS update doesn't fetch most recent commit

    I just commited changes to a file (bringing it to revision 1.3). I then updated the file and to my surprise I got back revision 1.2 (how the file looked before my commit). Checking the history if the file shows that there is a revision 1.3 (most recent) and a 1.2 before that (which is identical to my local copy). Ive tried removing the file and updating the folder, causing the file to be downloaded again. Ive also tried fetching a clean copy of the file of HEAD. Clearing cache and fetching HEAD doesnt work. But forcing an update to revision 1.3 explicitly does. But doing a normal update after that causes it to go back to revision 1.2. This is on a Windows XP machine, server is also a Windows box. Im using TortoiseCVS. Does anyone know what could be causing this? (If you dont know how to fix it, I will award bonus points to anyone that can tell me why CVS broke and, hopefully, how horrible it will be to fix it. I want to add it to my list so that maybe some day I can convince my colleagues to finally give it up in favor of a more modern VCS.)

  • Convert a Dynamic[] construct to a numerical list

    I have been trying to put together something that allows me to extract points from a ListPlot in order to use them in further computations. My current approach is to select points with a Locator[]. This works fine for displaying points, but I cannot figure out how to extract numerical values from a construct with head Dynamic[]. Below is a self-contained example. By dragging the gray locator, you should be able to select points (indicated by the pink locator and stored in q, a list of two elements). This is the second line below the plot. Now I would like to pass q[[2]] to a function, or perhaps simply display it. However, Mathematica treats q as a single entity with head Dynamic, and thus taking the second part is impossible (hence the error message). Can anyone shed light on how to convert q into a regular list?   • [solved] IE6 PNG-transparency CSS hack not working

    I looked around and decided to use a CSS approach rather than rely on JS... I figure the kind of corporate users stuck with IE6 might also have JS disabled by IT departments. I commented out all the rest of the page so it is literally that one and still no luck. I removed the default.css stylesheet and still no difference. EDIT: I now got it working, using the .htc method, loading that file in a conditional IE6 test block. It turned out the problem I was having was that Windows 7 had 'locked' the file (I don't even know what this means) and this blocked IE from loading/using it.
