• Is there a default buffer length for 'sprintf' method?

  Hi, I used sprintf method to format data to a string which I want to write to a file, in C++ console application using VS 2008. The Input is a particular message, which has various variables and values (ex: Type 'int' and Value '10' / Type string and value "abc", etc.) When I send a two messages it works perfectly. But When I send more than two messages it gives a runtime error saying 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0xabababab. Why is this happening? Is it because the method 'sprintf' has a default buffer length? How can I overcome this problem?

• resolving incidents (closing cases) in CRM4 through webservices?

  Hello everybody, I'm trying to resolve/close Dynamics CRM4 cases/incidents through webservices. A single SetStateIncidentRequest is not enough and returns a Server was unable to process request error message. I think it has something to do with active workflows that trigger on case's attribute changes. I don't know if there's anything else preventing the request to work. Since it is possible to close those cases through the GUI, I guess there's a "correct" set of steps to follow in order to achieve it through CrmService; unfortunately, I've been googleing it for a while without finding what I want. Could anybody help me, please?

• What should I use for the filepath if I'm developing from my desktop?

  I'm having an extremely difficulty time getting the flowplayer to show up and the worst part is I have no idea what is wrong because I'm not getting any error messages! I have an external javascript file: C:/desktop/mysite/js/jq/plugins.js calling $f() from: C:/desktop/mysite/thirdparty/flowplayer/flowplayer.js the swf files also live there... • Oracle's Global Single Schema

  Maximizing business process efficiencies in a heterogeneous environment is very difficult. The difficulty stems from the fact that the various applications across the Information Technology (IT) landscape employ different integration standards, different message passing strategies, and different workflow engines. Vendors such as Oracle and others are delivering tools to help IT organizations manage the complexities introduced by these differences. But the one remaining intractable problem impacting efficient operations is the fact that these applications have different definitions for the same business data. Business data is your business information codified for computer programs to use. A good data model will represent the way your organization does business. The computer applications your organization deploys to improve operational efficiency are built to operate on the business data organized into this schema.  If the schema does not represent how you do business, the applications on that schema cannot provide the features you need to achieve the desired efficiencies. Business processes span these applications. Data problems break these processes rendering them far less efficient than they need to be to achieve organization goals. Thus, the expected return on the investment in these applications is never realized. The success of all business processes depends on the availability of accurate master data.  Clearly, the solution to this problem is to consolidate all the master data an organization uses to run its business. Then clean it up, augment it, govern it, and connect it back to the applications that need it. Until now, this obvious solution has been difficult to achieve because no one had defined a data model sufficiently broad, deep and flexible enough to support transaction processing on all key business entities and serve as a master superset to all other operational data models deployed in heterogeneous IT environments. Today, the situation has changed. Oracle has created an operational data model (aka schema) that can support accurate and consistent master data across heterogeneous IT systems. This is foundational for providing a way to consolidate and integrate master data without having to replace investments in existing applications. This Global Single Schema (GSS) represents a revolutionary breakthrough that allows for true master data consolidation. Oracle has deep knowledge of applications dating back to the early 1990s.  It developed applications in the areas of Supply Chain Management (SCM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Human Capital Management (HCM), Financials and Manufacturing. In addition, Oracle applications were delivered for key industries such as Communications, Financial Services, Retail, Public Sector, High Tech Manufacturing (HTM) and more. At the highest level, these 'operations' span all that you do as an organization.  The following figure illustrates some of these high-level business processes. Enterprise Business Processes Supplies are procured. Assets are maintained. Materials are stored. Inventory is accumulated. Products and Services are engineered, produced and sold. Customers are serviced. And across this entire spectrum, Employees do the procuring, supporting, engineering, producing, selling and servicing. Not shown, but not to be overlooked, are the accounting and the financial processes associated with all this procuring, manufacturing, and selling activity. Supporting all these applications is the master data. When this data is fragmented and inconsistent, the business processes fail and inefficiencies multiply. But imagine having all the data under these operational business processes in one place. ·            The same accurate and timely customer data will be provided to all your operational applications from the call center to the point of sale. ·            The same accurate and timely supplier data will be provided to all your operational applications from supply chain planning to procurement. ·            The same accurate and timely product information will be available to all your operational applications from demand chain planning to marketing. You would have a single version of the truth about your assets, financial information, customers, suppliers, employees, products and services to support your business automation processes as they flow across your business applications. All company and partner personnel will access the same exact data entity across all your channels and across all your lines of business. Second application is a windows gui which open it by calling EventWaitHandle.OpenExisting() and try to Set the event. But I am getting an exception in OpenExisting.   Hi All, From 4.0 apple has extended their api support to access the videos and photos from the phone. I am using only iPhone 4.0 simulator to test my application. When I try to save the video as apple has mentioned in their api docs, its giving the error something like "Error Saving the Asset".   I want to be able to send some extra headers with my UIWebView loadRequest method. I have tried: NSMutableURLRequest *req = [NSMutableURLRequest requestWithURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"http://www.reliply.org/tools/requestheaders.php"]]; [req addValue:@"hello" forHTTPHeaderField:@"aHeader"]; [self.theWebView loadRequest:req]; I have also tried subclassing the UIWebView and intercepting the - (BOOL)webView:(UIWebView *)webView shouldStartLoadWithRequest:(NSURLRequest *)request navigationType:(UIWebViewNavigationType)navigationType method. In that method I had a block of code which looked like this: NSMutableURLRequest *newRequest = [request mutableCopy]; for(NSString *key in [customHeaders allKeys]) { [newRequest setValue:[customHeaders valueForKey:key] forHTTPHeaderField:key]; } [self loadRequest:newRequest]; But for some unknown reason it was causing the web view to not load anything (blank frame) and the error message NSURLErrorCancelled (-999) comes up (all known fixes don't fix it for me). So I am at a loss as to what to do. How can I send a custom header along with a UIWebView request? Many thanks!

However, I've just noticed that when regexec fails to match, it returns != 0 and I have no idea of what was wrong :-(. • CPU and profiling not supported for remote jvisualvm session

  When monitoring a remote app (using jstatd) I can neither profile nor monitor cpu consumption. Heap monitoring (provided I do not use G1) works. jvisualvm provides the message "Not supported for this JVM." in the CPU graph window. Is there anything missing in my setup? The google showed up next to no results.   I have read on MSDN(see Important note) that RSACryptoServiceProvider must be disposed. They give the example: using (RSACryptoServiceProvider RSA = new RSACryptoServiceProvider()) Now I'm trying to include RSACryptoServiceProvider into MyClass making use of it in several Methods. With this setup I cannot use the using statement. Instead I try to call the .Dispose() Method of the RSACryptoServiceProvider object at a suitable time but then I get the compile error message: `System.Security.Cryptography.AsymmetricAlgorithm.Dispose(bool)' is inaccessible due to its protection level Is RSACryptoServiceProvider not supposed to be used longer than one function call(using the using statement)? How can I fix this, is not making the Dispose call an option?

  Hi, We are using an ant script in order to build our application. I recently made a change in one jar required by our app. However, when running the ant script, the compilation fails and the error message shown let me think that the compiler is using a previous version of the jar. Also, compilation throug my IDE works fine. Manual compilation with the javac command and specifying my new jar works as well. When looking at the classpath used by ant to build, I can see that the jar seems to be the correct one. So I am a bit lost actually, don't know where to look at ... Any ideas ? I also wanted to know if this is possible to get the path of the jar javac is really using when compiling a particular class .. Thanks and regards

  I have downloaded the source code for the embedded widget demos from nokia and tried to get it to compile--I end up with the following error: Compiler (mingw32) message : In file included from ../../src/basicgraph/qtbasicgraph.cpp:9: ../../src/basicgraph/qtbasicgraph.h:14:17: QtGui: No such file or directory The offending line is #include <QtGui> QT creator 1.2.0, QT 2009.03 I have checked paths, etc, and all seems fine. I have checked to make sure that I have implicitly included QT += gui and that I have NOT included QT -= gui anywhere in the .pro and .pri files. After making no changes, I used VS2005 and the appropriate commercial version of QT 4.4.3, and it compiled and ran fine I have googled the error, and have found others asking similar questions (but not here) but no posted answers...so I would appreciate any help. thanks Jonathan Howland

  Hi Chaps, I have a PHP form with one input and a button. A jQuery script ('loading' animated gif) is triggered on the click of the submit button. I also have a Spry Validation field linked to the input. At the moment, if the validation is triggered, the animated gif continues and won't stop. The furthest I've managed to get with it, is to click the validation message to stop the animation, but what I'm really after is to stop the animation when the validation is visible/triggered, but I can't find a suitable Event. $(function() { $("#button_download") .click(function() { }) .throbber(); $("#sprytextfield1") .click(function(sprytextfield1) { $.throbberHide(); }) }); If someone can point me in the right direction, that would be sweet.

  Hi, I have created a table on an Oracle 10g database with this structure : create table myTable ( id number(32,0) primary key, myData clob ) I can insert rows in the table without any problem, but when I try to read data from the table using OleDb connection, I get an exception. Here is the code I use : using (OleDbConnection dbConnection = new OleDbConnection("ConnectionString")) { dbConnection.Open(); OleDbCommand dbCommand = dbConnection.CreateCommand(); dbCommand.CommandText = "SELECT * FROM myTable WHERE id=?"; dbCommand.Parameters.AddWithValue("ID", id); OleDbDataReader dbReader = dbCommand.ExecuteReader(); } The exception details seems to point on an unsupported data type : System.Data.OleDb.OleDbException: Unspecified error Oracle error occurred, but error message could not be retrieved from Oracle. Data type is not supported. Does anyone know how I can read this data using the OleDb connection ? PS : The driver used in this case is the Microsoft one.

Now I need to add error message like index.php?form=newcustomer&Itemid=1&msg=".$msg after submitting this form. In this case it is not displaying as sef and showing "index.php?form=newcustomer&Itemid=1&msg=New Customer Received". I cld not use custom redirect also,becoz msg are dynamically generated. • Windows CE 5.0 emulator needed

  I need an emulator for Windows CE 5.0 to test an embedded device (not PDA or smartphone) application that I am developing. This is what I have already tried: Visual Studio 2008 Pro includes an emulator. Unfortunately, it does not include a Windows CE image (only Windows Mobile and Smartphone). Yes, there is a difference, see the screenshots here. Windows CE includes a "start button", windows that can be minimized, moved around etc. There is a Windows CE Device Emulator available from Microsoft. Apart from the fact that its license only permits non-commercial use, it does not run in Windows 7 (it requires .net Framework 1.1, which is incompatible with Windows 7) nor in Windows XP mode (error message: "Emulator for Windows CE will not run one virtual machine within another. Please run the virtual machine on the host operating system"). Is there any option that I have missed?
