  Here is my code relating to the question: $theurl = trim($_POST['url']); $md5file = md5_file($theurl); if ($md5file != '96a0cec80eb773687ca28840ecc67ca1') { echo 'Hash doesn\'t match. Incorrect file. Reupload it and try again'; When I run this script, it doesn't even output an error. It just stops. It loads for a bit, and then it just stops. Further down the script I implement it again, and it fails here, too: while($row=mysql_fetch_array($execquery, MYSQL_ASSOC)){ $hash = @md5_file($row['url']); $url = $row['url']; mysql_query("UPDATE urls SET hash='" . $hash . "' WHERE url='" . $url .   Using cruisecontrol for continuous integration, I have some annoyances with Weblogic Ant tasks and how they think that server debug information are warnings rather than debug, so are shown in my build report emails. The XML output from cruise is similar to: <cruisecontrol> <build> <target name="compile-xxx"> <task name="xxx" /> </target> <target name="xxx.weblogic"> <task name="wldeploy"> <message priority="warn">Message which isn't really a warning"</message> </task> </target> </build> </cruisecontrol> In the cruisecontrol XSL template the current selection for the task list is: <xsl:variable name="tasklist" select="/cruisecontrol/build//target/task"/> What I would like is something which selects the tasklist in the same way, but doesn't include any target nodes which have the attribute name="*weblogic" where * is a wildcard. I have tried <xsl:variable name="tasklist" select="/cruisecontrol/build//target[@name!='*weblogic']/task"/> but this doesn't seem to have worked. I'm not an expert with XSLT, and just want to get this fixed so I can carry on the real development of the project. Any help is much appreciated.

  I have strings like the ones below in a SQL column. I want to extract them as a Gigabyte amount in aggregate. Example: Original Column ---------> Expected Output from a TSQL function ------------------------------------------- $15 / 1GB 24m + Intern 120MB ----------> 1.12 GB $19.95 / 500MB + $49.95 / 9GB Blackberry -----> 9.5GB $174.95 Blackberry 24GB + $10 / 1GB Datapack ----> 25GB $79 / 6GB --> 6GB Null --> Null $20 Plan --> 0GB Note: for our purpose, 1000MB = 1 GB (not 1024). The pattern is numbers followed by GB/MB, usually they are combined like 1GB (without any space but may sometimes may contain a space, it is not particularly important if hard to implement for this exception). Sometimes there are up to three or four instances of GB/MB occurring in the same string which are usually separated by a + sign (see row 2 and 3 of my example above). I have seen how we extract the dollar values in one of the answers where numbers were followed by $ or extract all integers in a string but I don't want to extract the dollar values or all the integers in a string. I just want the sum of GB/MB in the string.

• LINQ - 'Could not translate expression' with previously used and proven query condition

  I am fairly new to LINQ and can't get my head around some inconsistency in behaviour. Any knowledgeable input would be much appreciated. I see similar issues on SO and elsewhere but they don't seem to help. I have a very simple setup - a company table and an addresses table. Each company can have 0 or more addresses, and if 0 one must be specified as the main address. I'm trying to handle the cases where there are 0 addresses, using an outer join and altering the select statement accordingly. Please note I'm currently binding the output straight to a GridView so I would like to keep all processing within the query. "" : String.Format("{0}, {1}, {2} {3} ({4})", addr.Address1, addr.City, addr.Region, addr.PostalCode, addr.Country)) and now I'm getting the Could not translate expression error and a bunch of spewey auto-generated code in the error which means very little to me. The condition I added to MainAddress is no different to the working condition on AddressID, so can anybody tell me what's going on here? Any help greatly appreciated.

• Threads syncronization with ThreadPoolExecutor

  I'm trying to implement some logic when I create main(father) thread witch executes several other threads. Then it waits for some condition which child threads creates. After condition is meet the father executes some more child threads. The problem that when I use wait/notify I have java.lang.IllegalMonitorStateException exception. The code will run without error. I need to optimize the code, because in peak hours the zf_TickEvent method will be call more than 10000 times a second. I use a memorystream to hold the data until it reaches a certain size, then I output it into a text file. • Random begining index iterator for HashSet

  I use HashSet for add(); remove(); clear(); iterator(); methods. So far everything worked like a charm. However, now I need to fulfill a different requirement. I'd like to be able to start iterating from a certain index. For example, I'd like the following two programs to have same output. Program 1 Iterator it=map.iterator(); for(int i=0;i<100;i++) { it.next(); } while (it.hasNext()) { doSomethingWith(it.next()); } Program 2 Iterator it=map.iterator(100); while (it.hasNext()) { doSomethingWith(it.next()); } The reason I don't want to use the Program 1 is that it creates un-neccesary overhead. From my researchs, I couldn't not find a practical way of creating an iterator with begining index. So, my question is, what would be a good way to achieve my goal while minimizing the overheads? • MySQLDB query not returning all rows

  I am trying to do a simple fetch using MySQLDB in Python. I have 2 tables(Accounts & Products). I have to look up Accounts table, get acc_id from it & query the Products table using it. The Products tables has more than 10 rows. But when I run this code it randomly returns between 0 & 6 rows each time I run it. Here's the code snippet: # Set up connection con = mdb.connect('db.xxxxx.com', 'user', 'password', 'mydb') # Create cursor cur = con.cursor() # Execute query cur.execute("SELECT acc_id FROM Accounts WHERE ext_acc = '%s'" % account_num ) # account_num is alpha-numberic and is got from preceding part of the program # A tuple is returned, so get the 0th item from it acc_id = cur.fetchone()[0] print "account_id = ", acc_id # Close the cursor - I was not sure if I can reuse it cur.close() # Reopen the cursor cur = con.cursor() # Second query cur.execute("SELECT * FROM Products WHERE account_id = %d" % acc_id) keys = cur.fetchall() print cur.rowcount # This prints incorrect row count for key in keys: # Does not print all rows. Tried to directly print keys instead of iterating - same result :( print key # Closing the cursor & connection cur.close() con.close() The weird part is, I tried to step through the code using a debugger(PyDev on Eclipse) and it correctly gets all rows(both the value stored in the variable 'keys' as well as console output are correct). I am sure my DB has correct data since I ran the same SQL on MySQL console & got the correct result. Just to be sure I was not improperly closing the connection, I tried using with con instead of manually closing the connection and it's the same result. I did RTFM but I couldn't find much in it to help me with this issue. Where am I going wrong? Thank you. EDIT: I noticed another weird thing now. In the line cur.execute("SELECT * FROM Products WHERE account_id = %d" % acc_id), I hard-coded the acc_id value, i.e made it cur.execute("SELECT * FROM Products WHERE account_id = %d" % 322) and it returns all rows

• Using Threads to Handle Sockets

  I am working on a java program that is essentially a chat room. This is an assignment for class so no code please, I am just having some issues determining the most feasible way to handle what I need to do. I have a server program already setup for a single client using threads to get the data input stream and a thread to handle sending on the data output stream. What I need to do now is create a new thread for each incoming request. My thought is to create a linked list to contain either the client sockets, or possibly the thread. Where I am stumbling is figuring out how to handle sending the messages out to all the clients. If I have a thread for each incoming message how can I then turn around and send that out to each client socket. I'm thinking that if I had a linkedlist of the clientsockets I could then traverse the list and send it out to each one, but then I would have to create a dataoutputstream each time. Could I create a linkedlist of dataoutputstreams? Sorry if it sounds like I'm rambling but I don't want to just start coding this, it could get messy without a good plan. Thanks!

I want to loop though colA first, get the relevant colB value, and check if there are any other occurrences of the same value. For example in colB (seq11) there are 2 occurrences of colA(seq1), this time I have to combine those and output the sum of the length. Similar to this: ID colA colB Length 1 seq1 seq11 12 2 seq3 seq33 35 I am a bit java guy, but because my colleague has written everything in php and this will be just an adding, i need a php solution. With java i would have used hashmap, so that I would have the colA data once and just increment the value of "Length Column".. I know it is not a proper question, but.. • GIT: head has dissapeared, want to merge it into master.

  The top image is the output of: git reflog. The bottom is what GITK in GIT GUI (msysgit) shows me when I look at all branch history. The last few commits do not show on GIT GUI. Why do they not show on GITK (at least as a branch or something)? How do I merge them into master? I gather this happened when I checked out tag 0.42. Why is that not the same as master? (I had tagged the master in its latest state) When I click push, why does the remote repo claim to be up to date.. shouldn't it try to update these commits into whatever branch they are in? The first of the questions is important - I would like to begin to understand what GIT is thinking. It's more oracle than logic at this point. If it makes a difference to see the earlier history, the project is a [pretty powerful] JS color picker that can be viewed here in its entirety.

  I am constructing a lighbox gallery, currently experimenting with FancyBox (http://fancybox.net) and ColorBox (http://colorpowered.com/colorbox). By default you have to include a link to the large version of the image so that the Lightbox can display it. However, I am wanting to have the image link URLs pointing to a script rather than directly to the image file. So for example, instead of: <a href="mysite/images/myimage.jpg"> I want to do: <a href="mysite/photos/view/abc123"> The above URL points to a function: public function actionPhotos($view) { $photo=Photo::model()->find('name=:name', array(':name'=>$view)); if(!empty($photo)) { $user=$photo->user; $this->renderPartial('_photo', array('user'=>$user, 'photo'=>$photo, true)); } } At some point in the future the function will also update the view count of the image. Now this approach is working to an extent - most images load up but some do not load up (the lightbox gets displayed in a malformed state). I think the reason for this is because it is not processing the function quick enough. For example when I click the "next" button it needs to go to the URL, process the function and retreive/output the response. Does anybody know how I can get this working properly?

• wpautop() - when shortcode attributes are on new lines -breaks args array

  I have a custom shortcode tag with a few attributes, and I would like to be able to display its attributes on new lines - to make it more readable to content editors: [component attr1 ="value1" attr2 ="value of the second one" attr3 ="another" attr4 ="value" ... attrN ="valueN"] The reason behind this requirement is that a few attributes might be quite verbose in content. Unfortunately, wpautop() adds some nasty extra markup that breaks the args array like this (using php print_r($args)): Array ( [0] => attr1 [1] => ="value1" /> [3] => attr2 = [4] => "value [5] => of [6] => the [7] => second [8] => one" /> [10] => "" //...and more like this) I've tried with the attributes inline: [component attr1 ="value1" attr2 ="value of the second one" ="value"... attrN ="valueN"] and the output is as expected: Array ( [attr1] => value1 [attr2] => value of the second one [attr3] => //...and so on) is there any way to have the attributes intented and avoid that extra markup that breaks the $args array?

If there are no addons in the cursor (cursor is empty), then I would like to skip this part enitrely

• ReplaceAll not working as expected

  Still early days with Mathematica so please forgive what is probably a very obvious question. I am trying to generate some parametric plots. I have: ParametricPlot[{ (a + b) Cos[t] - h Cos[(a + b)/b t], (a + b) Sin[t] - h Sin[(a + b)/b t]}, {t, 0, 2 \[Pi]}, PlotRange -> All] /. {a -> 2, b -> 1, h -> 1} No joy: the replacement rules are not applied and a, b and h remain undefined. If I instead do: Hold@ParametricPlot[{ (a + b) Cos[t] - h Cos[(a + b)/b t], (a + b) Sin[t] - h Sin[(a + b)/b t]}, {t, 0, 2 \[Pi]}, PlotRange -> All] /. {a -> 2, b -> 1, h -> 1} it looks like the rules ARE working, as confirmed by the output: Hold[ParametricPlot[{(2 + 1) Cos[t] - 1 Cos[(2 + 1) t], (2 + 1) Sin[t] - 1 Sin[(2 + 1) t]}, {t, 0, 2 \[Pi]}, PlotRange -> All]] Which is what I'd expect. Take the Hold off, though, and the ParametricPlot doesn't work. There's nothing wrong with the equations or the ParametricPlot itself, though, because I tried setting values for a, b and h in a separate expression (a=2; b=1; h=1) and I get my pretty double cardoid out as expected. So, what am I doing wrong with ReplaceAll and why are the transformation rules not working? This is another fundamentally important aspect of MMA that my OOP-ruined brain isn't understanding. I tried reading up on ReplaceAll and ParametricPlot and the closest clue I found was that "ParametricPlot has attribute HoldAll and evaluates f only after assigning specific numerical values to variables" which didn't help much or I wouldn't be here.
